One night, as they watched from a rooftop, Selene spoke.

"The place is heavily guarded," she said. "They must be getting close to something."

Kael nodded. "Then we strike before they succeed."

He turned to her, his voice calm but firm. "You'll handle the outer defenses. Cause enough chaos to pull attention away. I'll go inside, find the crystals, and make sure no one leaves alive."
