Fairy Tail: Becoming stronger by spending money.

Chapter 84: Chapter 84 Spoilers Are Momentarily Exciting

"The guild hasn't changed much, but the people sure have."

Tonight's Fairy Tail was especially lively.

Lisanna looked around at the familiar scene, pulled up her hair, and said to Mirajane, "Sister Mira, your aura has changed a lot."

"Yeah?"

Mirajane smiled, then placed her hand over her heart. "Maybe she's found the right person."

"Are you really with Brother Caesar?"

Lisanna asked, full of gossip.

Mirajane didn't answer with words—she simply showed the ring on her finger.

Seeing that, Lisanna knew there was no need to ask more.

"Lisanna, come back!"

"I'm not going home until I'm drunk today!"

"Welcome back, Lisanna!"

"You slobs, stay away from my sister!"

Elfman stood in front of her like a wall, blocking anyone who got too close. Clearly, he was being the best brother he could.

Meanwhile, Caesar was drinking and laughing, looking at Natsu and Gray, both wearing the same confused expressions.

"Hey! Say something!"

"Don't keep us in suspense!"

The two were furious, curiosity burning in their eyes.

"No way. I can't let you know what you two are like in Edolas."

Caesar waved them off. "If I ever get the chance, I'll take you there. You'll understand then."

"Rift, that sounds amazing!"

Gray shouted.

Natsu looked at Happy and asked, "What do you think I'm like over there?"

"Definitely a dragon!"

"Oh, that would be awesome!"

Natsu got excited immediately.

"No, no, that Natsu..."

Lisanna walked up and mimicked a scared, crying face.

"I... was bullied by Lucy. That's what it felt like."

"Pfft hahahaha!"

Everyone burst out laughing as Lisanna imitated Natsu's Edolas counterpart.

Only Natsu looked confused. "Lucy? Who's that?"

"Oh, she's part of Fairy Tail in that world. She's really close with you, Natsu."

Lisanna wagged her finger. "It's like Gray wearing dozens of layers and screaming about how much he loves Juvia."

"?"

Gray blinked, confused.

Then the image hit him. Him in multiple coats, blushing over Juvia like a lovesick puppy. Goosebumps erupted.

He nearly wanted to rift his past self out of existence.

Then Caesar sprayed wine everywhere in laughter.

Right onto Happy.

Again.

Happy stared, stunned. Then tears filled his eyes.

"Caesar's bullying me!"

He turned and flew off crying.

"Happy!"

Natsu chased after him.

Cough cough cough.

Caesar turned to Lisanna, who looked confused.

"Lisanna, they haven't joined Fairy Tail yet. Spoilers are pointless now. And if they do join later, won't it be embarrassing? So you see... spoilers feel good for a moment, but..."

He trailed off, suddenly realizing his situation with Mirajane might have counted as a spoiler too.

"But why did I become a fairy hunter in that world?"

Erza tilted her head, white smoke puffing above her. She was clearly lost.

"Maybe you and your Edolas self are opposites."

Lisanna replied. "In Edolas, Fairy Tail is a dark guild. Since you love Fairy Tail so much, your counterpart probably hates it."

"Ohhh, that makes sense!"

Erza clapped her hands and accepted the logic.

"I'm curious, what's Caesar like in Edolas?"

Mirajane asked with a playful smile.

"Brother Caesar, he... mmph!"

Lisanna started to answer, but Caesar quickly covered her mouth.

Mirajane simply watched him quietly.

Caesar raised his hands. "Okay, I surrender. He's a magic weapon dealer, super rich, lives in a manor, and… he married dozens of wives."

"That's good. So based on Lisanna's story, doesn't that mean you've stayed loyal to me in this world?"

Mirajane giggled and gently covered her face.

Caesar sighed. No matter how open a woman is, she'd never compromise on that point.

Forget about harems.

Unless he just wanted to mess around, he'd never pursue it seriously.

He could have anyone with a wave of his hand.

But that wasn't what mattered.

What did matter was finding someone whose heart resonated with his.

Mirajane was that person.

He poured himself another drink.

From across the room, he saw Natsu coaxing Happy, while Lisanna tended to him too.

Caesar sighed.

Since Lisanna returned early, her bond with Natsu and Happy deepened.

He wondered if Lucy and Natsu would still get together in the future.

Eh… it's not his problem.

Drink!

Looking at the festive guild, Caesar figured no one was going home tonight.

"Well, everyone's in a good mood. Let's celebrate with a ten-pull!"

Caesar grinned and opened his game interface. No limits, no special banner. Just a standard draw.

He tossed in some spirit stones.

Green.

Green.

Green.

Green.

What terrible luck.

Nine straight green cards.

Caesar was already sighing.

Then he flipped the last card.

And froze.

He stared at it.

Double-checked.

"Poof!"

A spray of wine exploded from his mouth again.

Right onto Happy—again.

Happy stood there, stunned.

"Natsu! Lisanna! Caesar's bullying me!"

He burst into tears.

"Brother Caesar!"

"Caesar, are you picking a fight?!"

Lisanna and Natsu charged at him.

Caesar scrambled away, throwing out apologies.

After escaping, he turned back to look at the last card.

His eyes sparkled.

A red card.

Not a red fragment.

A full-blown red card!

He couldn't believe it.

After hundreds of pulls and endless fragments, he finally drew the one.

Not just any red card either.

It was her.

Seven Deadly Sins Deck – "Gluttony Sin" Merlin.

Caesar didn't care about her abilities.

What he wanted was her innate magic power—

Infinite Magic Power.
