Fairy Tail: Jinchuriki

Alex can see how inexperienced they are from the way they fight. Natsu and Gray just keep using as much power for every attack which will tire them quickly.

Well, their attacks are still not that strong, so maybe they need to try their best for every attack. But it's a problem that most of their attacks can't even hit the Rock Ape.

They also keep bickering instead of focusing on fighting the Rock Ape. Both of them compete for who can cause more damage to the Rock Ape. But their silly competition only weakens their attacks because they don't focus.

Only Erza and Cana are fighting the Rock Ape properly. But Erza still doesn't have decent weapons to fight the beast. Her current weapons can't break through the Rock Ape's rock armor and her fighting skill is still not that good.

Cana is better than them because she has learned a lot of things from Gildarts. But it's her first time fighting without any guidance and even teaming up with new members. So she still has difficulties knowing the correct attacks to use.

The biggest problem is they still don't know anything about this beast. They don't know its abilities and weaknesses. So they don't know what attacks are effective and what needs to be watched out of the Rock Ape.

"ENOUGH WITH YOUR FIGHT! YOU AREN'T HELPING AT ALL!" Erza finally can't take it anymore and stops Natsu's and Gray's silly fight by hitting their heads.

She scolds them while Cana holds the Rock Ape and tells them to focus on the fight. They obey out of fear and finally focus on the fight. But they have spent too much energy, so they won't hold for too long.

Still, at least now they can work together properly and it really makes a big difference. Cana surprisingly takes the lead and gives them orders. She has gauged the Rock Ape's weaknesses by throwing basic cards that are weak on many spots of the beast's body.

"Gray, freeze its legs! Natsu, shoot fire on its face!"

The 2 boys follow Cana's order and they succeed in immobilizing the Rock Ape.

"Now, Erza!"

With Cana's signal, Erza attacks the Rock Ape's left armpit with her long sword. The Rock Ape is raising his hands to block Natsu's fire, so its armpits are wide open. Cana has talked to Erza about this strategy, so Erza knows what to do.

Erza's sword manages to cut the Rock Ape's left armpit's tendons because the armpits aren't protected with rocks. She retreats immediately after doing that and when she retreats, a card flies above her.

The flying card slips into the wound that Erza makes. It enters the Rock Ape's body rather deeply because of the wound. Then suddenly, a big explosion happens on the Rock Ape's left armpit.

Cana's card was an explosive card and it was a strong one. Thanks to the deep cut wound that Erza made, Cana's explosive card can enter deep into its body, making the damage from the explosion much bigger.

The Rock Ape's left arm gets ripped off its body because of the explosion. Its left chest is also broken by the explosion, which damages its heart too. With its heart damaged, the Rock Ape dies after struggling for a while.

"You could've done this much faster if you were working together from the beginning." Alex comments while still sitting on the back with Meteor Destroyer.

"Well, Erza and I surely have been doing it from the beginning." Cana glances at Natsu and Gray who have cold sweats now.

"Hmm, we'll have some lectures later then. But for now, let's finish the job first." Alex stands up while stretching his body.

"Yeah, let's report to the village." Erza nods.

"No, I mean our job is not finished yet." Alex points to the rock cliff on his left.

Everyone turns to look at where he points at and is surprised to see a bigger Rock Ape is coming. It runs while yelling angrily.

"I-is that this Ape's spouse?" Gray guesses quickly.

"Most likely. The explosion must've alerted it that something wrong is happening in its den. Get back! I'll handle this." Alex moves forward. He hands over Meteor Destroyer to Cana before transforming his right arm into Shukaku's arm.

He waits for the Rock Ape to get closer. The others are asking him to do something quickly, but he just stands there calmly. He only looks at the incoming furious Rock Ape.

Then, the big Rock Ape lifts a big boulder and throws it to Alex. But suddenly, a lot of sand rises from the ground, creating a wall that blocks the flying boulder.

The Rock Ape jumps above the sand wall to attack Alex. Alex just grins while raising his sand arm at it. His sand arm extends and enlarges very quickly and he catches the Rock Ape's whole body with his big sand arm, making it unable to move at all.

"You shouldn't jump right toward your enemy without knowing anything, you know. They might be stronger than you thought, after all."

Alex then covers the Rock Ape's whole body with sand to suffocate it. Of course, he also absorbs its magic power while killing it because he needs a lot of magic power to break the Tailed Beasts' seals.

The others' jaws drop at how easy Alex defeats the Rock Ape even though it looks stronger than the one they defeat. It really shows their difference in power and experience even though their ages don't differ that much.

"I hope you learn a lot from this job or I'll need to teach you many things myself." Alex transforms his arm back to its normal form while looking at his Guild Mates who nod hastily.

"Alright, let's bring these guys back to the village." Alex has checked that there's no other strong beast around, so these 2 are the only Rock Apes here.

"How will we carry them?" Natsu asks curiously.

Alex only looks at Cana and she immediately uses her magic to put the carcasses into her cards. Her Card Magic is very convenient and has many uses. It's so versatile, but Cana needs to learn a lot of things too because there is so much she can do with it.

They report to the village and finally finish their job. But they don't return immediately. They are now in a famous hot spring, so they take their time to enjoy the hot spring here.

The monkeys that were enslaved by the Rock Apes have come to the hot spring again. They are very friendly to humans and they are even more friendly to the young Fairy Tail Mages who have saved them.

The monkeys actually bring them fruits as signs of gratitude. They don't refuse and eat a few of the fruits to show that they accept the monkeys' gesture.

The 3 boys, 2 girls, and the bear cub actually use the same bath. But they just act normal as if this is a normal thing for them. Well, it's not like there's anything interesting to look at from the others.

Alex and Gray are used to seeing naked women since they lived with Ur. Also, all of them are kids and Alex have no interest in kids. Well, he is a kid too, but he has the memory of an adult in his past life even though it's not complete.

Erza was also used to it since her time in the Tower of Heaven because there was no privacy there. Natsu is just an idiot while Cana is used to naked people because of the Guild.

In the bath, Cana is busy playing with Meteor Destroyer. Natsu is competing with Gray again with some silly things like holding their breath underwater, swimming across the bath, etc.

Meanwhile, Alex is relaxing on the side when Erza suddenly talks to him. She thanks him for his help that freed her and everyone else from the Tower of Heaven. Makarov has told her that it was Alex who informed him about the sighting of a suspicious tower in the sea.

"I didn't do much though. I only told Master about what my teacher saw when she crossed the sea. It was her who thought that something looked suspicious and it was Master who worked hard to destroy that place."

"Still, if you didn't tell Master, then he won't know and we won't be freed."

Alex can't say that even if he doesn't do anything, Erza would still escape from that place. Well, maybe she could escape earlier because of his action and more slaves should be freed together with her now.

"Ah, by the way, I've been curious about this, but what happened to the others who were freed together with you? I thought there would be many potential Mages there, but Master only brought you back." Alex is very curious about the other characters from the Tower of Heaven.

"Most of them wanted to return to their hometowns and find their family. But unlike me who always wanted to join Fairy Tail because of someone there, the others don't think the same. Last time before we parted, some of them said they have agreed to make their own Guild. I haven't heard anything about them yet, but I'm sure they will be fine."

"Forming a Guild? That's interesting." Alex doesn't know how much the story will change because of this, but he surely is excited to find out. After all, there are some important characters who came from the Tower of Heaven. So they will affect quite a lot of things.
