Chapter 27: Chapter 27: The World Where Only Natsu Gets Hurt, Achieved!
Erza, Natsu, Gray, and Cana...
These kids represent the future of the Fairy Tail guild.
This is the first time they have come together, marking the formation of what will later be known as Fairy Tail's strongest team. Though not all of the members are present just yet…
A certain Celestial Spirit mage is still living the high life, secretly planning her escape.
As for the other Dragon Slayers who traveled from 400 years ago along with Natsu, they're still lost in their own lives, wandering aimlessly and struggling with their path.
Meanwhile, back at the Fairy Tail guild…
"Ugh, I didn't get picked?"
"Man, that sucks! I thought I was pretty strong…"
Several of the other mages grumbled in frustration.
"Get real…"
"You think you can beat Natsu or Gray?"
"Or maybe you can take down Erza, the girl who just joined yesterday and showed her overwhelming power by easily defeating the guild master's grandson?"
"Erza, who is already recognized as the closest one to S-Class in the guild, even surpassing Laxus?"
The surrounding mages teased them, knowing their limits. It was just some harmless venting, after all.
As for Cana, no one in the guild dared to joke about her.
Ever since she displayed her incredible talent in fortune-telling magic, the guild's gamblers had hailed her as their goddess of wealth and ultimate savior.
Anyone who bad-mouthed Cana or offended her would quickly regret it, as the guild's gambling crowd would make sure of it.
"Master, we're heading out," Ian said, waving to Makarov as the guild settled down.
"Mm, take care," Makarov smiled and wished them well.
"Don't worry, I'll finish this S-Class mission for sure…"
"And I'm locking down the championship for the Fairy Tail 24-Hour Endurance Race this year."
"Hehe, that million Jewel prize? It's mine, even if Zeref himself showed up, it wouldn't make a difference."
Ian's voice carried a surge of magic, powerful enough to send shockwaves through the guild, leaving everyone wide-eyed and awestruck.
"Makarov, just wait for me…"
Ian flashed Makarov a wicked grin before turning to signal to Erza and the others, and they quickly left the guild to head east for their mission.
After all, five million Jewel was at stake! Ian was eager to get some of his money back.
While the endurance race prize wasn't huge, a win was still a win!
"Scary…"
"Ian is seriously scary!"
"It felt like he was ready to kill someone!"
The guild members were left shaken by Ian's sudden display of power.
"It seems like Ian has gotten even stronger..."
"Could he already be stronger than me?"
Unlike the other mages who hadn't reached the level of the 'Ten Wizard Saints' and merely saw Ian as strong without fully understanding his power, Makarov, a seasoned Ten Saint himself, couldn't remain calm.
The moment he sensed the vast magic Ian had unconsciously released, Makarov was left stunned:
"Maybe Ian is already on par with Gildarts! At this rate, it won't be long before the title of the strongest wizard in the guild changes hands."
If Ian heard Makarov's thoughts, he would probably laugh and say,
"Stop comparing me to Gildarts! The most unreliable statement in Fairy Tail is when someone's power is said to rival Gildarts'. Every time, without fail, those people get beaten down! It's like the number one curse in the world of Fairy Tail—whoever's compared to Gildarts ends up getting wrecked…"
"Gildarts might be a bit of a scoundrel, but you can't deny his strength—he's one of the few who survived facing the invincible Acnologia."
To be honest, Ian wasn't that interested in the title of the strongest in Fairy Tail anyway.
"Let's head out!" Ian called, now standing at the guild's entrance.
"Ohh!!"
Behind him, Erza, Gray, Natsu, and Cana all shouted with excitement.
They were finally going on an S-Class mission—a privilege usually reserved for the guild's elite mages.
As non-S-Class wizards, they had never even seen an S-Class request, let alone been allowed on the second floor of the guild where those missions were posted.

At the train station.
"Uh… Could we not take the train?"
Natsu mumbled, feeling uneasy as he glanced at the train.
"No way. If we don't take the train, we won't be able to get to the eastern region."
"Don't worry! I know that as a Dragon Slayer, you can't handle transportation, but I've got a solution…"
Ian reassured Natsu with a sly smile.
Ian himself couldn't handle transportation either, but thankfully, they could use high-level enchantment magic to grant immunity to motion sickness, allowing them to travel by train without a hitch.
"Please, let me help Natsu with that."
Before Ian could cast the enchantment, Erza stepped forward, raising her hand and moving toward Natsu, who was already feeling queasy just from looking at the train.
"Oh, well, if Erza wants to take care of Natsu, I'll leave him to her. I trust you've got this," Ian smiled. He knew that Erza was likely capable of casting the anti-nausea spell as well—after all, it was a technique he and Irene had developed together.
Wham!
However, before Ian could finish speaking, Erza had already approached Natsu. She gently patted his back, soothing him for a moment, and then…
Without warning, she delivered a swift punch to his gut.
"Ughhh!"
Natsu didn't even have time to say his last words before passing out cold.
"Uh, well…" Ian fell silent, stunned by the approach.
Well, he had to admit—that was one way to solve the problem!
Regardless, his daughter Erza had handled it brilliantly!
"Nice one!"
Gray cheered loudly, applauding Erza's quick and effective solution.
And so, a world where only Natsu gets hurt was achieved.
