(Third Person POV)

Jason emerged from the intense flames and smoked caused by the fallout of the W.M.D. strike. His clothes were charred and tattered, his skin burned off and bleeding profusely. He collapsed to his knees as he clutched his shoulders.

"Shit..." He said as he panted, "That was a stupid thing to do...staying here when the warhead made impact....." 

Jason was surrounded by what looked like an apocalyptic wasteland, pillars of flames erupted, and the ground shattered completely as there were distortions in space. This was the result of the W.M.D.'s explosion, the ethernano was warped so much it caused sparks in the space, and massive lightning explosions erupted in the middle of the air as they struck the ground, creating more explosions that added to the hellscape. 

Jason was in front of a massive pillar of smoke and flames that had several massive sparks of magic power erupting inside. It was as if that was the core of the wasteland's destruction; which it was, it was the same spot where the warhead made impact and attempted to destroy the Dragon King. 

"I had no other choice though...." Jason stood up, "Had to keep in place for it to happen...If it wasn't for my Inverse Domain, I probably wouldn't died...." 

Inverse Domain. A spell that Jason had acquired during the months of preparations, just like his Tower of The Chained God. Using the properties of a spatial domain, Jason ejects an invisible barrier that surrounds him, negating any sort of intended effects of whatever attack or spell is thrown at him. He is capable of using the Inverse Domain to cover a large area but it requires more focus and magic power. 

To protect himself from the W.M.D.'s effect, Jason deployed Inverse Domain as close to him as he possibly could for the most reinforced effect. He was able to deploy it to surround him in a 2 feet radius and enhance its properties. The power of W.M.D. was so great that it was capable of ripping through Inverse Domain and damaging Jason, though. 

Jason could've teleported to safety, but he took a risk in staying there, activating W.M.D and using Tower of The Chained God to keep Acnologia in place for a direct hit. 

It was a gamble, one that he had hoped it paid off. 

Jason limped towards the massive cloud of flames and smoke as he felt an immense magic power erupt from it. 

He widened his eyes, "N-No way!!" He exclaimed, "There's no way he's alive!!!" 

Suddenly, the massive cloud dispersed as a massive grey aura erupted from it. 

"Hahahahaha!!!!!" a voice bellowed

Jason saw that a smaller figure emerged from the thick aura, a more human-like one, "Shit..." He said as he winced in pain, "This is far from good...." 

He then saw as Acnologia emerged in his human form, the majority of his dark cloak burnt off, his arms and legs charred and bleeding, his entire body covered in wounds as one of his eyes was closed shut. 

"Ohohoho!!!" Acnologia bellowed with laughter, "That was.... exhilarating!!!! To think such a power existed!!! Amazing, Jason!!! Simply amazing!!!!"

Jason narrowed his eyes, "I take it that you're far from defeated...." He said, "I figured W.M.D. would certainly finish the job...." 

Acnologia looked at him, his eyes filled with excitement. There was truth to the Dragon King's words that he had told Jason prior to the warhead's detonation; it had been centuries since someone had truly wounded him. Although he doesn't feel that his life isn't in danger, Acnologia is more than just impressed, he's excited. His lust for true battle had been activated, overriding his "Duty" to slay the Dragons. 

At that exact point in time, Acnologia wanted nothing more than a battle to the death against Jason. 

"Oh, I am far from done." He said, "These wounds are nothing!! Come, Jason!! Let us do battle!! I shall destroy you completely!! Can you kill me before I do that?!" 

In an instant, Acnologia rushed past Jason, swinging his arm in a claw-like manner, a massive explosion of grey magic power erupting from Jason's mid-section. 

Jason coughed up blood, "Aghh!!!" He yelled out in pain

Acnologia turned around with a menacing smirk, "This form is much more appropriate for a one-on-one, don't you think?" He said, "Don't let hole be the end of you, Jason!!!" 

Jason clutched his mid-section, blood pouring out of his gaping wound. Without wasting more time, Jason activated his healing abilities. 

"Life Return" 

"High Heal" 

"Sky God's Regeneration" 

He released an immense aura in a quick wave of power. Acnologia readied a stance as Jason turned around, his wounds healing, even the ones he suffered in the explosion. 

Acnologia then lunged at him, throwing a punch to his face. 

Jason then immediately blocked the attack, buckling to the incredible power he felt. 

"Shit!" He muttered

"Hahaha!!" Acnologia said, "Is this too much?!" 

Jason was sent reeling back due to the power of the punch. Immediately, Acnologia had rushed past him yet again, attempting another claw swipe. Jason, however, had anticipated this and was able to dodge the attack, his body avoiding the Dragon King's claws in a fluid-like manner. 

Acnologia turned around to see Jason clad in a crimson aura. 

"Obliteration Style: Formless Artillery" 

Without skipping a beat, Jason fired off a barrage of punches that hit Acnologia that were thrown from all angles, even the most awkward ones that the Dragon King did not expect. The attack was able to reel him backward, drawing a bit of blood, but this was due to the accumulated damage caused by W.M.D.

"Ho?" Acnologia said as he wiped his blood, "Interesting.....this is magic, yes, but why am I receiving damage?" 

Jason then engulfed himself in a black light combined with his crimson aura. 

"Black God's Obliteration Style: Formless Dark Artillery" 

In an instant, Acnologia was struck with the same type of attack, except this time, it was fused with Jason's Black God Slayer Magic. The blows exploded with black light and vicious crimson shockwaves of Obliteration. This attack was powerful enough to send the Dragon King reeling back, receiving an unexpected amount of damage. 

"Fuck you.." Jason growled as he rushed past Acnologia, "Take this!!" 

"Black God's Obliteration Style: Dark Blast Core!!!" 

Jason had rushed past Acnologia, striking him with a Blast Core as he rushed past him. This, however, wasn't an ordinary Blast Core. An ordinary Blast Core compresses the muscles and charges up an insane amount of magic power to the point that when released, a powerful shockwave erupts upon impact, adding to the already strong attack enhanced by magic power. This Blast Core not only does that but it is enhanced by the Obliteration Style and Black God Slayer fusion that Jason wasn't sure would work. 

The results of this attack? A massive explosion erupted from Acnologia's side which Jason had targeted. The explosion staggered the Dragon King as he looked behind him to see Jason releasing an insane amount of Curse Power. 

"What are you doing now?" He asked while wincing in pain

"Cursed Domain: Bloodied Field of The Primordial Battle" 

They were both then sucked into the domain as Acnologia landed on the ground while Jason floated in midair. 

Acnologia stood up and noticed right away that the ground beneath him was corrupted by death. He looked at it, the earth corroded by some type of blackness that he was familiar with. 

"This...." Acnologia said as he looked up to see Jason, "Wait..." 

He was surprised to see Jason wielding a large black halberd that emitted an immense dark aura that warped the air around it. 

Jason gestured his free hand in a hand sign, releasing a wave of Curse Power. 

"Cursed Contract: Wave of Death" 

Suddenly, there was a massive black aura that erupted from the ground and shot straight towards Jason who lifted the halberd as the aura focused towards it. 

"I hereby use my Cursed Domain's contract to siphon Ankhseram's curse and The Eclipsed Darkness into this weapon." Jason announced, "The Calamitous Edge shall decide your fate." 

Acnologia narrowed his eyes, "So that's what that is." He said seriously, "You think that'll work?!" 

Jason readied the Calamitous Edge in a stance, rearing it back as he held it with both hands. A thick pitch black aura erupts from it that shakes the entire domain itself. 

"Sure, why not?" Jason said

"Calamitous Edge: Sever" 

Jason swung the halberd, sending a massive pitch-black wave straight at Acnologia that struck The Dragon King right through the middle, causing the ground beneath him to shatter completely. 

Jason glared at him, "This should do it." He said seriously, 

"You bastard."
