Fallen GodKing of Douluo: Raised to Power by Qian Renxue's Nurturing

Chapter 35: Chapter 34: Baby Bro, Your Mom Smells So Good

If Qian Renxue discovered the egg, the consequences would be unimaginable.

Most likely, she would turn it over to the worship elders.

There was no reason for Qian Renxue to keep it a secret and raise it herself—after all, she couldn't be sure if it would pose a threat to her child.

Having known her for so long, Lin Luo felt he understood her to some extent.

So, at this moment, he could only hope that the pet egg would behave itself. Otherwise, before it even hatched, those great-grandfathers might just turn it into a poached egg.

While Qian Renxue scanned the room, as if answering Lin Luo's silent prayers, the pet egg truly stopped moving.

Qian Renxue frowned in confusion. "Did I mishear it?"

Lin Luo seized the opportunity, stretching his tiny hand under her clothes and squeezing her chest. In his soft baby voice, he eagerly signaled his desire for some milk.

"Oh, I almost forgot…"

Qian Renxue picked Lin Luo up again and returned to the bed. As he wished, the room remained quiet for the rest of the afternoon.

Every day after his "lunch," Lin Luo would feel drowsy, likely due to an infant's natural biological clock, while Qian Renxue would sit beside him and meditate in cultivation.

At night, she would end her training and spend a long time playing with Lin Luo in bed. Once they were tired, she would feed him again and lull him to sleep.

However, because of the pet egg, Lin Luo was distracted the whole night. While playing, he didn't pay attention, and a toy ball Qian Renxue threw hit him square in the face.

The pain actually made Lin Luo cry, causing Qian Renxue to panic. She quickly scooped him up, gently comforting him while smacking the ball, calling it "bad" and vowing revenge for her baby.

Weren't you the one who threw it? What does the ball have to do with this?! Lin Luo complained internally.

But on the bright side, the pet egg hadn't made any more sounds since its first incident.

The night passed without further issues.

The next morning.

Qian Renxue got up quietly, carefully tucking a small blanket over Lin Luo's tummy.

Seeing his adorable sleeping face, she smiled softly and placed a gentle kiss on his forehead.

After washing up, she prepared to take a bath. But today, before doing so, she made sure to lock the door!

I don't believe this little rascal can open a door.

She left the window open, though. Granny Jones had said that a baby's room needed constant ventilation.

Besides, the window was so high—unless the little one could fly, there was no way out.

Once she was sure everything was secure, Qian Renxue stepped into the bath, letting her tall and slender figure slowly sink into the water.

The moment Lin Luo heard the water, he opened his eyes.

Master of Fake Sleeping!

Last night, while nursing, he had intentionally drooled all over Qian Renxue, hoping it would extend her bath time.

And since she always washed clothes after bathing, he had also deliberately spit some milk on her nightgown, nearly making her lose her temper.

Using the same trick as before, he climbed out of bed and crawled toward the window. He had just heard the door lock—so his only chance of escape was through there.

But the window ledge was too high; he couldn't reach it.

Now I just have to wait for Xie Yue and the others…

Just as he was thinking that, Lin Luo suddenly sensed something was off.

He immediately turned around, but it wasn't Qian Renxue.

It was the pet egg from under the bed.

At some point, the egg had rolled out and ended up right behind him. After wobbling for a moment, it suddenly stood up straight—so perfectly aligned it looked like a soldier standing at attention.

What the heck?

I don't need your protection! And if you come with me, I don't even know who's protecting who…

Lin Luo raised his chubby little hand and pointed toward the space under the bed, his tiny face stern, clearly ordering it to go back where it came from!

Amazingly, the pet egg actually understood him. It obediently rolled itself back under the bed.

Lin Luo was stunned.

Is there a dog inside this egg? It's way too well-behaved.

No… that can't be right. Dogs are mammals, just like me. They shouldn't hatch from eggs.

As he was thinking, he suddenly heard footsteps approaching the door.

The moment whoever it was noticed the door was locked, their footsteps shifted—heading toward the window.

Soon, a pair of hands gripped the window ledge.

Yan pulled himself up from outside, peeking into the room, and immediately spotted Lin Luo waiting for him on the floor.

The two of them locked eyes in a deep, wordless exchange. Without wasting time, Yan climbed in, tiptoed over, scooped Lin Luo up—then threw him straight out the window like a shot put.

Then, he swiftly jumped out himself.

Lin Luo, midair, was caught firmly in Xie Yue's arms.

Holy crap! What kind of hardcore baby-snatching operation is this?!

For a second, Lin Luo felt like his soul was about to leave his body.

With their target secured, the three of them bolted away as fast as they could.

Xie Yue: "This is insane… we just broke into the Worship Hall to steal a baby!"

Hu Liena: "What do you mean 'steal'? Yi Yi just wants to go to school, and his mom won't let him."

Yan, meanwhile, was marveling at something entirely different. "That room smelled amazing. Baby bro, your mom must be drop-dead gorgeous! Just from the scent alone, I could tell she's an absolute knockout!"

Lin Luo shot a wary glance at Yan.

You can think whatever you want, but don't you dare have any ideas about Qian Renxue!

"Baby bro, who is your mom?"

Xie Yue couldn't help but ask again.

Yan shrugged. "No clue. The room was big, but it was pretty simple."

After returning yesterday, the three of them had been trying to figure out Lin Luo's identity.

One thing was certain: Baby bro had to be related to the Worship Hall. There was no way he was the child of an elder or the Pope.

After all, their kids wouldn't enroll in the Spirit Hall Academy. The academy simply wasn't qualified to teach their descendants.

For someone who lived in the Worship Hall and had even been held by Pope Bibi Dong, there was only one possibility—he must be the child of a Platinum Bishop.

The Spirit Hall had four Platinum Bishops in total. Two resided in Spirit City, while the other two were stationed in the Holy Temples of the two great empires.

From what Xie Yue and the others knew, the bishops in the empires were Salas and Miles.

As for the two in Spirit City, one was Lor diarra, a Spirit Douluo-level powerhouse and the headmaster of the Spirit Hall Academy.

The identity of the other Platinum Bishop in Spirit City, however, remained a mystery. the three of them had never heard much about him.

So after much deliberation, the trio had come to the same conclusion—Baby bro must be the child of this low-profile bishop.

That alone was an incredibly noble status.

Even Miao Duoduo, as a Platinum Bishop's grandnephew, carried himself with an air of arrogance.

Yet no matter how hard they speculated, they could never have imagined—compared to Lin Luo's true identity, a mere Platinum Bishop was nothing.

He was a child of the Angel Clan, and his mother was the Angel Clan's little princess—his lineage was beyond compare.

"Dong——Dong——Dong——"

The school bell rang.

The three of them sprinted down the academy's main road, knowing full well they were definitely going to be late today.
