Backroom, Toretto's Garage

I start to wake up, a soft smile coming to my face at the warmth provided by Mia and Letty, before I hear a hiss and then I'm hit by ice cold water from a garden hose.
Letty shrieks, Mia squeals and I flip the couch over and put the three of us behind it for cover, my instincts screaming for me to reach for a weapon.
Before I'm really conscious of it I have a Night-Night gun in hand, I squeeze off two rounds over the couch and am rewarded with the sound of a body making a meaty smacking sound as it impacts the concrete floor.
The three of us peek over the couch and see that the one who sprayed us with the hose is Dom.
Dom is currently on the ground out fucking cold with his face turned blue hose still in his fucking hand.
"Oh my god…you shot Dom…" Mia gasps and rounds on me while Letty giggles…in a totally situationally poor way.
"He's fine, these are literally bullets that put a person to sleep for a short time…" I say to Mia who looks uncertain but goes over to Dom and checks his pulse while looking for blood Mia looks back over to me while standing up and crossing her arms over her chest.
"Okay…that's pretty cool…but Brian…where did that gun even come from…?" Mia asks me while trailing off and I feel Letty's eyes burning holes in my back. Leon and Jesse start to walk into the backroom to see what all the commotion is and I reflexively shoot them both too.
"Shit…that was on reflex…" I mutter an apologetic curse.

A few hours later still in the backroom of the Toretto garage.

Dom glares at the three of us as we stand on the opposite side of a table to him and Jesse.
"Stop glaring at Letty and Brian, Dom!" Mia snaps, her voice is sharp with fury. "The three of us are happy…together. And you have no right to judge us after everything you've put Letty through!"
Dom looks away from his sister and grunts, I can feel hate and anger just rolling off of Don. I stand, soaked and barefoot, muscles tense…ready for a fight expecting Dom to throw a punch at me.
But instead of throwing a punch he drops a bomb...at least it would have been if I hadn't already told Mia everything.
"Fine Mia you're right." Dom says. "But there's something you should know Brian is an undercover cop and Vince has betrayed us…stabbed us all in the back because of him." Dom continues and points to me.
Two expressions of surprise explode into the room breaking the temporary silence.
Then Leon's hand twitches. I spot the movement immediately, Leon's hand is reaching under his shirt for the piece he tucks into the front of his pants waistband like he's in a goddamn Tarantino flick.
I draw faster with a Night-Night gun already in my hand, trained square on Leon's chest before he clears the fabric of his clothes.
"Don't pull that piece, Leon. I'll drop you where you stand." My voice is calm, cold…and collected. I sound frighteningly like Grant Ward as I speak.
Leon freezes, and Jesse just stares at me like I just kicked his dog. Eyes wide, face pale, his whole body deflates like he's watching the world unravel.
Mia looks shaken…but more by Leon reaching for a gun than anything else and Letty doesn't seem fazed at all. She just grabs a Corona and takes a sip.
Dom glares at the both of them now, and if he was Homelander…well it would have been hard enough to burn holes through them.
"You both knew already…" Dom says his voice ,low, brittle like he's holding back something.
Letty shrugs cool as a cucumber. "Yeah. Brian told Mia after their date. She spilled to me about it…but I already knew thanks to you know who…"
Mia's head jerks like she just got slapped. "Letty…"
Letty throws a look her way. "What? You think I couldn't see the way you lit up every time Pretty Boy walked into the store?" she says with a smirk, but it's a tired smirk. "I didn't say anything…because I didn't want to ruin it for you."
"Granted, even if I didn't know I knew I mean come on if you can't figure it out when he says that fake ass undercover cop-ass name, like seriously Brian, Brian Earl Spilner? Whoever came up with that was trying to get you shot." Letty says with a playfully snide attitude and finished with a worried look directed in my direction.
Dom doesn't say anything he just stares down at the table he's leaning on.
"You knew too," I say, my voice quiet, with my eyes on Dom. "You knew from the beginning, because you have a source in the L.A.P.D…?" I say and it may come out like a question but it's not one.
He doesn't answer right away. Just clenches his jaw so hard I hear his teeth grind. Then, he nods to me once in confirmation.
"My inside man told me who you were the moment they put you undercover," Dom mutters. "I didn't do anything about it because I saw how you look at Mia…how she looks at you…and I learned why you became a cop in the first place…"
"You could've confronted me…that night in the car you practically told me you knew with the way you said you'd never go back…" I say.
Dom looks older suddenly…tired even, "No…I didn't because everyday you came in I saw who you were you're one of us pretending to be a badge…"
Letty sighs, deeply. "Jesus, Dom…"
Leon still hasn't moved. Jesse is sitting now, head in his hands. Mia just quietly leans into me, wraps her arms around my waist and presses her cheek against my chest like she needs to make sure I'm real. Like she's scared she might lose me.
I wrap my left arm around her waist and then do the same to Letty who also looks to relax tremendously at the show of comfort.
"Well then since there's no point in
pretending anymore…I know it's your crew that's been jacking trucks…and I want in but you're going to have to change how you operate and after one last heist we're all going to have to leave L.A." I say and Dom smirks.
