Chapter 323: [323] Can't... Can't Take Anymore...
"?"
"??"
"???"
Illya, along with Miyu who had quickly returned, stared at the two figures kissing amidst the trees, their eyes simultaneously turning dead-fish-like.
It wasn't just speechlessness—in that moment, too many emotions surged through them, overloading their little brains into a complete shutdown.
Not only had Kuro suddenly decided to do that with Miyu, but Miyu had also turned into Sakatsuki, and Sakatsuki hadn't even tried to avoid it, instead meeting her head-on...
Kids, do you have a lot of questions right now?
Amid the faintly suggestive sounds, Kuro's expression shifted as she tried to pull away, but Sakatsuki gave her no chance. With a flip and twist of his hand, the dragon-like strength effortlessly pinned her wrist, leaving her immobilized.
Seeing no escape, Kuro decided to go all out, no longer suppressing her nature—she began draining Sakatsuki's mana!
As a being born from Class Cards, her very existence in this world required burning mana to sustain itself every second.
Since this "Priest Sakatsuki" had willingly replaced the infinitely mana-rich Miyu, she wouldn't hold back—she'd suck him dry until he couldn't take it anymore!
With that thought, Kuro cast aside all reservations and pressed forward, like a lover throwing herself into an embrace—except this lover was deadly.
And just as she expected, Sakatsuki's pure, potent mana came flooding into her.
The priest must have realized what was happening, but he merely raised an eyebrow, the amusement in his golden eyes unwavering.
What was going on?
Kuro was puzzled, but soon, she realized in horror—
No matter how you looked at it, this mana output was insane!
If an ordinary magus's mana flow was like a faucet, then this so-called priest from the Church was unleashing his like a dam breaking!
Not only was the output overwhelming, but his reserves were absurdly deep. At Kuro's current absorption rate, even Miyu would have been completely drained, barely held up by her Mystic Code. Yet Sakatsuki showed no signs of exhaustion—in fact, the grip on her wrist tightened, with no intention of letting go.
A sense of dread surged through Kuro, and she struggled again, managing to tilt her head back and break the kiss. But this time, it was Sakatsuki who trapped her limbs in a near-brutal hold, pulling her back in.
You like mana transfer? Fine, I'll let you have all you want!
That was the message Kuro read in the depths of Sakatsuki's eyes, sending a chill down her spine that quickly spread through her entire body.
As she feared, this priest wasn't acting on impulse, playing the hero, or lusting after her.
No—he had planned this, set the trap, and seized the opportunity to ensnare his prey.
Resistance was futile. This was the stage where the hunter took his fill.
Her mind raced, scrambling for an escape, but soon, her thoughts slowed like a rusted engine, grinding to a halt...
It was a dizziness akin to drunkenness—caused by being forced to process an excessive influx of mana.
Trapped in this vicious cycle, Kuro grew weaker, until Sakatsuki had to support her by the waist to keep her from collapsing.
"Nnngh…"
Amid the NSFW sounds, the golden-eyed, white-haired priest gently wiped his lips, still holding the girl in his arms.
"Thanks for the meal."
Meanwhile, Kuro lay limp against him, her eyes glazed and unfocused even when she managed to open them.
"Can't... can't take anymore..."
The same Kuro who had been chasing down two magical girls had, by picking the wrong target, ended up in such a "miserable" state.
"Illya, step back." Before Sakatsuki could speak, Miyu shielded Illya, cautiously retreating while eyeing the priest like he was some kind of creepy old man.
Hey, hey, I just saved you—otherwise, you'd have been the one getting an 18+ scene, Miyu...
Deeply wounded by her gaze, Sakatsuki suppressed the urge to cough blood and forced an awkward yet polite smile. "Uh, let me explain."
For some reason, he felt like he'd been saying that a lot lately.
Mana Transfer.
A term referring to the act of a Servant replenishing mana from their Master or other sources, which could include "fluid exchange" with a magus—the fastest method for rapid mana recovery. Using transference magecraft, the direction of mana flow could even be reversed, allowing the Master to absorb mana from the Servant instead.
This wasn't Sakatsuki's first time doing this—he'd done it with Miyu (attempted) in the Fate/Zero world and successfully with Saber during the Fourth Holy Grail War's finale. So when Kuro came at him, he was, unfortunately, way too experienced, swiftly rendering her helpless.
"So... what's her condition now?"
"She absorbed too much mana. It'll take time for her system to recalibrate, so she's unconscious."
After Sakatsuki's explanation, Miyu finally relaxed, her wariness giving way to quiet conversation with him.
Meanwhile, Illya crouched beside the unconscious Kuro, poking her cheek repeatedly with a twig.
"I still can't believe she looks exactly like me... Who is she? How did she even appear?"
"Hey, that's easy—just ask Rin and Luvia when we get back."
"But... what if she wakes up?"
After whispering with Ruby for a bit, Illya suddenly turned to Sakatsuki, eyes full of hope.
But Sakatsuki already knew what she was going to ask and shook his head with a smile.
"I've helped enough for today. The Church has its hands full... But don't worry, I called in backup for you."
"Backup?"
Screeeech—!
The unmistakable sound of brakes rang out—so harsh it painted a clear image of the driver stomping on the pedal. A shadow blotted out the sky as a compact car flew into view, nosediving into the ground before skidding in a circle around the group, finally crashing into the trees to dissipate the momentum.
"Geez, I finally get to come home, and now there's one thing after another~"
Even muffled by the car's interior, the voice was unmistakably familiar to Illya—and Kuro.
"Huh? Why won't the door open? Hup—!"
BANG!
The door was violently kicked open, and the silver-haired matriarch climbed out through the gap, standing before the group.
"Yahoo~ My dear daughters!"
"M-M-M-Mom?!"
Despite seeing Illya and Miyu in their magical girl outfits—and a weakened, half-conscious "black Illya"—her expression remained unchanged, her smile as airy as ever.
"Dinner's almost ready, so I came to pick you up."
"Cut the act, Irisviel." Sakatsuki rolled his eyes, interrupting her playful demeanor. "Just bundle them all up and take them home to deal with your 'kids.'"
With that, he waved and vanished into the forest, leaving behind a flustered Illya and a now-recovering, hostile Kuro.
Frankly, he couldn't bear to watch what came next.
After all, in this world, Irisviel wasn't some helpless princess—she was a formidable magus who, alongside Kiritsugu, had bloodied the Holy Grail War and the Einzbern family.
BOOM!
The metallic roar of her magecraft echoed behind him, and Sakatsuki shuddered, quickening his pace.
A pissed-off Irisviel is not to be trifled with. Time to bail.
