Hassan's cursed hand trembled, his lifeless body collapsing onto the cold ground.

Ryuu yanked his blade free, stepping back as the Assassin's final breath faded into silence.

"Ding! Congratulations, host! You have slain Servant Assassin. Reward: 1000 Demon King Points."

The system notification echoed in his mind.

Ryuu glanced at the floating numbers in his Demon king Points tab.

1,000 points for a Servant kill?

It was worth it.

Compared to the endless slaughter of skeleton soldiers, this was far more efficient.

"Tch. I need more of these."

His golden eyes flickered—then turned toward Cú Chulainn.

For a split second—Ryuu considered it.

Cú Chulainn was weak. Injured. Vulnerable.

And a Servant was worth 1,000 points.

Should I kill him?

His grip on his blade tightened.

Cú Chulainn froze.

That look.

He recognized it.

"Oi... You were just thinking about killing me, weren't you?"

Ryuu laughed and shook his head.

"Relax. If I wanted you dead, I'd just use a Command Seal. It'd be much easier."

Cú Chulainn narrowed his eyes. "Hmph. Not sure if that's reassuring or more terrifying."

Even if Ryuu was his Master, he couldn't shake the feeling that this guy was dangerous.

"Can you walk?"

Cú Chulainn smirked. "Tch. I should be asking you that. You just had your heart crushed, ya bastard."

"I'm fine. Pain is just temporary."

Ryuu clenched his chest.

Cú Chulainn used the spiritual energy in the area to set up a new stronghold.

For now—they were safe.

"Alright, Master. Enough bullshit. How many secrets are you hiding?"

Ryuu grinned. "Too many. And you knowing them won't help you."

Cú Chulainn clicked his tongue. "Tch. Annoying brat."

Silence followed.

But Cú Chulainn was not the quiet type.

After a few minutes—

Ryuu sighed.

"Curiosity kills the cat, Caster."

"I'm not a cat, dumbass. I'm Cú Chulainn, Cuillin's Guard Dog. I've killed plenty of cats."

Ryuu laughed. "Fine, fine. Go to sleep, mutt."

Ignoring Cú Chulainn's protests, Ryuu opened his system menu.

He had 2,200 Demon King Points now.

Time to upgrade.

"System, filter all pupil techniques under 2,000 points."

A list appeared.

"She taught you Norse Runes, right?"

Cú Chulainn grinned. "Damn right."

"Then teach me."

Cú Chulainn stared.

Then—he burst out laughing.

"Pfft. You wanna learn Runes? Hah! You think it's that easy?"

"If I wanted easy, I wouldn't be here."

Cú Chulainn grinned.

"Alright, fine. I'll teach ya. But it's not gonna be easy, brat."

Ryuu smirked.

"Nothing worth having ever is."

"This kid's trouble… but I kinda like him."

Ryuu sat in silence—his new Geass eye burning faintly.

His next goal was clear.

Master Rune Magic.

Test Geass in combat.

Defeat the remaining Servants.

And most importantly—

Take down Saber.

The Holy Grail War was far from over.

And Ryuu was just getting started.
