Fated Adventure.

Chapter 83: 83. Bonded.

Ryan had spent the rest of the night in his room, delving into the intricacies of Veela bonds. But not before dealing with Yue. His first order of business had been putting the mischievous vampire in her place—spanking her thoroughly for her teasing and taunting throughout the day. Of course, she had enjoyed it far too much, moaning and writhing with each strike until he had left her a flushed, satisfied mess.

Once Yue was properly dealt with, Ryan had turned his attention to researching Veela bonds. What he found was both fascinating and deeply serious.

Fleur had not just claimed him in a physical sense—she had freely bound her magic and life force to his. Veela didn't just 'fall in love' like humans did. When they chose a mate, it was permanent. Irrevocable. They mated for life, and that wasn't an exaggeration.

If he were to die, Fleur would die as well.

The old tales of people 'dying from a broken heart' had originated from Veela who had lost their mates. They simply could not exist without the one they had bonded to. At most, they might survive for a day—two if they were exceptionally strong-willed—but no longer.

It wasn't just devotion—it was a magical, primal truth of their very existence.

Ryan leaned back in his chair, exhaling slowly as he absorbed the weight of that knowledge. Fleur had done this willingly, without hesitation. She had chosen him, bound herself to him, and there was no turning back.

A slow smirk spread across his lips.

He would have to make sure she never regretted it. After all for those who were loyal or friends to him he would always treat them better, never worse.

Fleur sat almost directly in my lap introducing me to various different French cuisines that were on the table. She would occasionally offer me a bite of her food, or slip something onto my plate. The radiant smile on her face never left.

Of course she also took the time to chat with Yue, Rachel, Luna and Hermione who had come over to get to know her better.

"After breakfast we have something important to discuss." I told Fleur who looked curious.

Fleur tilted her head slightly, curiosity flickering in her enchanting blue eyes. "Something important?" she repeated, dabbing her lips with a napkin. "Is zis about last night?"

I smirked, shaking my head. "Not exactly. It's about something bigger. Something that concerns your future."

She studied me for a moment before a slow, knowing smile spread across her lips. "Alright," she said simply, placing another strawberry with whipped cream to my lips.

As breakfast continued, Fleur seamlessly integrated herself into the small circle that had formed around me. Yue and Rachel both seemed to accept her without any hesitation. Hermione, ever the inquisitive one, had plenty of questions, and even Luna, in her usual whimsical way, seemed pleased by Fleur's presence.

It was natural. Fleur belonged here.

And soon, she would truly become part of something even greater.

Once breakfast ended, I gestured for Fleur to follow me. "Come with me. We need somewhere private to talk."

She nodded, standing gracefully before slipping her hand into mine. "Lead ze way, mon amour."

We made our way to the Ravenclaw common room, slipping into my personal quarters before entering my trunk. It was there that Fleur finally met Serenity, who materialized before us.

"Alright, everyone, touch me," I instructed. This meeting would take place in the inner world.

Yue, Rachel, Serenity, and Fleur all placed their hands on me. With a thought, I transported us into the inner world.

The space had changed significantly. A flourishing magical garden now stretched across one side, filled with rare and valuable plants—Bubotubers, Dittany, and other precious potion ingredients. Nearby stood a large but simple manor, the product of our summer project. We had spent months gathering materials, magically constructing, and enchanting the house to serve as a proper home in any world we traveled to.

It wasn't extravagant, but it was spacious and comfortable—built with the future in mind. Twenty bedrooms and bathrooms, a large kitchen, dining room, library, magic workshop, and a cozy living room. There was more than enough space for my peerage, as well as those who would follow us but not join the peerage itself, like Winky.

Fleur gazed around in wonder. "What iz zis place?"

"All will be explained soon." I took her hand and led her inside.

We settled in the living room, where I produced a small, unassuming chess piece—a pawn. As I held it in my palm, I met Fleur's inquisitive gaze and began explaining everything.

Why her and not Hermione, Luna, or Winky? The answer was simple: Fleur was an adult. Hermione and Luna were still too young to fully grasp what joining my peerage entailed. As for Winky, she was already bound to me through magic. I could extend her life using the Fountain of Youth, but she was a peaceful being, unsuited for combat. She thrived in caring for a home, cooking, and looking after others. Forcing her into battles she wasn't meant to fight would be cruel.

I knew that in the future, there would be more—lovers, allies—who wouldn't join the peerage but would still accompany us across worlds. Fleur was the first to face this choice face to face.

She reached out, running her fingers over the smooth surface of the pawn. Her expression was thoughtful, but I could see the understanding in her eyes.

"You are offering me… a place in your peerage?" she asked softly.

I nodded. "Yes. Becoming part of my peerage means more than just power—it's a bond, deeper than Veela magic alone. It grants immortality so long as I live, a chance at strength beyond what any normal witch could achieve."

Fleur glanced at the others. Yue sat calmly beside me, her crimson eyes steady with patience. Rachel offered a small, knowing smile. Serenity, ever-watchful, observed Fleur carefully.

"You all… come from different worlds, don't you?" Fleur murmured. She was piecing everything together. "You are not just witches or wizards."

Yue smiled. "I am an immortal vampire."

Rachel's gaze darkened slightly as a other set of crimson eyes appeared under her now demonic looking eyes. "Half-demon."

Serenity's lips curled. "An assassin with a special physique."

Fleur turned back to me, her mind racing. "And you, mon amour… you are immortal as well?"

I chuckled. "That's right. You've already felt the effects of my life force firsthand. They come from a special artifact in sure you've heard of, the Fountain of Youth." I summoned the ornate goblet.

A faint blush colored her cheeks, but she didn't shy away. Instead, her determination only grew. "So… by accepting zis, I would become like you? I would be able to follow you… no matter where you go?"

"Exactly. No limits, no aging, no barriers between us. You'd be one of us in every way."

Fleur took a deep breath, tightening her grip on my hand. "Zis is not a decision I take lightly. But my heart already belongs to you. My magic already sings for you."

She looked down at the pawn piece one last time before locking eyes with me, her resolve absolute. "I accept."

Without hesitation, I pressed the piece against her chest. A brilliant glow surrounded her, filling the room with warmth as her body absorbed the power.

Fleur gasped, her Veela nature responding instinctively to the overwhelming surge. Golden embers flared around her, dancing like firelight. I could feel her being intertwining with mine, solidifying the bond that would link us forever.

When the light faded, she trembled slightly, adjusting to the new energy coursing through her veins. She flexed her fingers, marveling at the sensation before turning to me, eyes alight with something both fierce and radiant.

"I feel… incredible," she whispered.

I grinned, cupping her cheek. "Welcome to the family, Fleur."
