Fated Adventure.

Chapter 85: 85. Information.

Fleur closed the final Harry Potter book with a thoughtful expression. Learning that this world had originated as a story in Ryan's reality didn't bother her. He had explained the multiverse theory in detail, and she had long since accepted it.

Besides, this world had already diverged from the books in many ways. She had no intention of marrying Bill Weasley—she didn't even care to meet the man. Her counterpart's choices had nothing to do with her, and she was certain she had found someone far better.

Her gaze softened with affection as she looked at her mate. Ryan was practicing boxing techniques with some of his shadows, his shirtless form moving with controlled power. Fleur licked her lips unconsciously. Mmm... The sight was undeniably tempting.

She enjoyed spending nights on the Jade Soul Platform with the other girls. Thanks to Ryan marking them, they could meet in their shared dream space as long as they remained in the same world. Training, studying, or simply nurturing their souls—it granted them extra hours every day while still waking up refreshed.

Her magic, Veela abilities, and even her soul grew stronger daily. The Pawn Piece had shattered the limits she never knew existed, leaving her feeling lighter, freer—more. It was like unshackling unseen chains that had always restrained her.

"So, what else has changed? I noticed there wasn't a fourth champion," Fleur asked, turning to Yue, who was seated nearby.

Yue calmly explained the various changes they had made, including how Harry's life had improved significantly.

The most shocking revelation was the Philosopher's Stone. Nicholas Flamel was well-known in France, and the thought of his legendary creation being involved in Hogwarts affairs was astounding.

Yue simply shrugged. "He was going to destroy it anyway, and we didn't want to risk Voldie getting his hands on it. Besides, who uses something like that as bait for a dark wizard? It wasn't even a fake!"

Fleur exhaled, shaking her head. "That does seem pretty foolish."

As for the Triwizard Tournament… could she beat Ryan? She had no illusions about that. She had seen firsthand how monstrous his abilities were. Still, she would give it her all—at the very least, she intended to beat Krum.

Not that she cared much about the so-called eternal glory. The 1,000 Galleon prize and the title of Triwizard Champion? People would forget about it in a few years. She certainly couldn't name any past champions, and this was the first time she had even paid attention to the tournament.

Her priorities had shifted the moment she found Ryan and bonded with him. This was her final year at Beauxbatons, and she had no plans to return to France afterward. She would move to Britain, live with her beloved, and pursue a mastery in enchanting.

Ryan would support her no matter what she chose—whether she wanted higher education, a job, or even a quiet life as a stay-at-home wife.

Not that she had to worry about money. The moment she received the Pawn Piece, a backpack had appeared in front of her, filled with 100,000 Galleons and an equal amount in British pounds, along with clothing and other necessities. She could live comfortably for decades without working if she wished. Her family was also quite well off so it wasn't like she needed money.

Her decision was already made. She would move into Ryan's townhouse, using the Vanishing Cabinet to travel to and from Hogwarts. Serenity and Winky would keep her company, and she could dedicate herself to studying magic, growing stronger, and—above all—spending her future with Ryan.

Of course, she had no intention of abandoning her family. She still loved her mother, father, and sister deeply. But Veela magic made Ryan her husband in all but writing, and they understood what that meant—her mother and little sister were Veela, and her father had married one.

If she could, she would want a proper wedding. However, Ryan's known age made that a bit awkward. In the magical world, it would be fine—one could marry as young as twelve, and some old families still had betrothal agreements. But in the modern world? That was a ticket to having the police knocking on their door and a long vacation in jail, complete with being put on a list.

Ugh, this had slipped my mind.

The wand weighing ceremony. Rita Skeeter was busy looking me over like some kind of prized animal.

Fleur, seated beside me, leaned over and whispered in my ear, "After this, we can head to your room, and I can inspect your wand personally. I missed lunch, after all, and Serenity stole my breakfast."

This little succubus. She had taken to dragging me into broom closets in the mornings, claiming it was much better than coffee.

Serenity had also been naughty lately, sneaking under the table during breakfast. The smirk on Yue's face let me know who the real culprit was behind this change.

It drove Fleur absolutely wild. No doubt she would have been under the table helping if she could get away with it. Unfortunately, as Hogwarts' champion and an undeniable beauty, there were usually eyes on her at all times.

I shifted to the side as a hand with poison-green nails tried to grab my arm. Turning to look at Rita Skeeter, I raised an eyebrow and said two words.

"Beetle Animagus."

Immediately, the confident look on her face drained, along with any color she had.

No doubt if she wrote any bullshit about me in the papers, Serenity would make her vanish from the face of the planet, leaving behind an unmarked grave.

Rita may not have seen it, but I could. My lovely little chocolate-colored assassin was hidden in the shadows, waiting to pounce, a cold look on her face.
