FLASH MARRIAGE; CHARMED BY THE RUTHLESS BILLIONAIRE CEO

Chapter 357: A Spicy Revenge Plan

Gwen's eyes tilted to the right and then to the left as if she were trying to verify her current location. Everything around her looked familiar including the door.

'So how could she be mistaken?' She pondered.

Meeting the stranger's gaze, Gwen reiterated.

"I am not mistaken, sir. This is my friend's apartment." Gwen raised the single key she was holding to further buttress her claim." This here is the spare key she gave me to access this apartment anytime I wanted and I've been here not once or twice."

The man collected the key from Gwen's hand and assessed it briefly before returning it back to her.

"When you tried the key, did it open the door?"

"No, but..."

"There is no buts." The man cut Gwen off, his patience wearing thin.

"Like I said earlier, You are clearly mistaken. This is my house and I'll prove it to you."

The man brought out his own key and opened the door in her presence.

"Come inside and verify if this place looks anything like your friend's apartment." He gestured forward.

Gwen hesitated a little afraid of entering into a stranger's house. But her curiosity got the best of her, as she cautiously strolled in, her eyes scanning the entire place.

To her surprise and alarm, everything looked completely different from what she was accustomed to.

The entire furnishings and even the dark-themed painting on the wall were completely different from the vibrant, bright colours she was used to.

"See anything familiar?" The man came up behind Gwen, his voice deep, husky and predatory, causing a cold shiver to run down Gwen's spine.

"No!" Gwen whispered, her heart slamming widely against her chest. She turned around to meet his dark and unreadable gaze, her hands trembling by her side.

"This is my apartment, and I have been living here alone for the past two years. I do not know any pregnant woman called Nora, neither have I seen you here before. I do not appreciate people messing around my property. So, if you don't mind, I would like you to take your leave now and don't ever pull this kind of stunt around me again."

"I'm very sorry for bothering you, sir. I must have mistaken your apartment for that of my friend. Please accept my deepest apologies for the intrusion." Gwen said while hurrying towards the door as if she had been chased. She hastily made her way out of the building while looking over her shoulder, to see if she was being followed by the man. She failed to see the sinister look in the man's eyes, as he watched her disappear out of sight.

After coincidentally bumping into Sebastian the previous night, Sarah wasn't surprised to find her live performance trending on the school website the following day.

She had just finished eating her breakfast and was preparing to leave the house when she got a message from Annabelle informing her to check the trending news on the school website.

This unwanted publicity infuriated her, making her contemplate whether or not to go for her lecture for the day.

As if In sync with her thoughts, Henry's call came through while she was contemplating the next course of action.

"Have you seen the trending video? I am certain Sebastian is behind this." Sarah asked, anger rising in her tone as she paced around inside her bedroom.

"I'm so sorry about that. I'll make sure I have a serious discussion with Sebastian today. If you want I can also have someone take it down immediately." Henry suggested in a calm and soothing voice that eased the brewing storm in Sarah's heart.

"You can do that?" Sarah raised a brow.

"I can do anything for my angel."

Sarah's earlier scrunched face broke up in a girlish smile. "Thanks, Henry. What would I ever do without you?"

There was a soft chuckle on the other end before Henry's soft velvety voice rapped in Sarah's ear. "You're welcome, my dear. And do not forget that I am always at your service."

"Of course."

"Do you want me to come over and pick you up?" Henry suggested.

"Umm... There's no need for that. We could always meet at the school parking lot. Moreover, I don't want to stress you after everything you did for me last night." Sarah replied, her cheeks giving off a pinkish-red glow as she recalled their fun moments the previous night.

"I'm not complaining, and it will be my honour to take it to school as your faithful bodyguard. Just wait for me I'll be there in less than twenty minutes." Henry said and ended the call, preventing Sarah from turning down his offer.

"Hmm..." Sarah's smile broadened at the thought of Henry picking her up in one of his flashy cars and maybe allowing her to get behind the wheel like the previous time.

It made her heart flutter with anticipation and excitement as she hurriedly got all her supplies ready and hurried out of the room to wait for him at the entrance.

True to his words, Henry arrived at the mansion in less than fifteen minutes, making Sarah wonder if he had flown all the way to her house.

And just as she anticipated, he came in her favourite car of all.

Judith, who had been quietly observing her daughter's euphoric mood, came out of the house just in time to see Henry stepping out of his Ferrari.

"Good morning, Mrs Hunt." Henry greeted in his most cheerful voice while waving at Judith.

"Good morning, Henry. You are here again." Judith said, winking at Sarah, whose cheeks were now beet red with embarrassment.

"Yes ma'am. I'm taking Sarah to school."

"Oh... Sarah, you didn't tell me you now have a personal chauffeur." Judith beamed, wiggling her brows.

"Mum...go inside and stop being so nosy." Sarah eyed her mother. She gives her a brief kiss on the cheek before hurrying down the short stairs to join Henry.

"Hi," Sarah said smiling.

"Hello, beautiful. Wanna drive?" Henry asked dangling the key.

"You bet I do." Sarah caught the key as he threw it to her.

"Make sure you two return home in time for dinner," Judith called out to both of them as they switched places and got into the car.

"We will, Mrs Hunt." Henry waved at Judith.

"Bye, Mom." Sarah blew kisses to her mother before zooming out of the mansion premises.

"My daughter has finally found love." Judith beamed to herself, her heart filled with so much joy.

All day, Harriet spent her time preparing for the evening family get-together. She didn't bother going to the salon since Gwen would be there. Neither did she question her husband when he returned home with a brand new car and some expensive gifts, claiming they were from Matt.

She received the gifts with thanks and even pleaded with her husband to help her organize the drinks while she focused on the food preparation.

Thinking his wife had really forgiven him for his infidelity, Desmond left the house cheerfully for the mall to get the drinks, while Harriet stayed back to carry out her orchestrated plan for the night.

While preparing her husband's favourite delicacy, she made it extra spicy, using extra hot pepper sauce that would leave the cheating duo and their allies sweating through their anus.

To ensure that her children didn't fall victim to her spicy plans, she rounded up all three of them in her bedroom and intimated them with the dishes they must never taste.

She went further to confide in her elder daughter and son about their father's infidelity and her plans to expose the cheating couple during dinner.

Elsie and David, who already suspected their father of cheating on their mother gave her their blessing to carry on with her plans.

When evening finally came, Harriet got dressed in one of her most expensive clothes that accentuated her curves. She fixed her hair stylishly like that of a bride and applied heavy makeup that would make her irresistible to her husband. She applied an aphrodisiac perfume that will make her husband go gaga, and popped out her cleavage in her plunging neck dress.

A brief tap on her bedroom door told Harriet that it was showtime.

Taking one last look at her captivating appearance, Harriet slipped on her shoe and gracefully made her way to the door. She opened it and found her husband standing by the entrance, holding a large bouquet of sunflowers, her favourite.

The sight of his wife looking extra beautiful and all donned in fancy jewellery as though she was going for a gala event as opposed to an indoor family dinner left Desmond speechless.

"Is that for me?" Harriet flashed her husband a flirtatious smile while batting her eyelashes, making him drool even more.

"Y...yes baby." Desmond extended the flower to her, his Adam's apple bobbing up and down as his hungry eyes scanned his wife from head to her high pencil heels.

"Thank you my darling." Harriet received the flower while patting him on the cheek like a good boy.

"You look ravishing baby." Desmond finally confessed, leaning close to give her a kiss. But Harriet stopped him, blocking his lips with two of her fingers.

"Not now dear. You will ruin my makeup."

"Are we going somewhere after dinner?" Desmond asked, his eyes brimming with excitement.

"Maybe or maybe not."

Just then, Elsie came up to her parents, informing them that their visitors had arrived.

"Visitors! What visitors?" Desmond asked looking confused.
