Chapter 360: Spicy Revenge 2
Regina's face turned pale at her sister's humiliating remark.
"Aunt Pearl, that is not a nice thing to say," Gwen said, her facial expression filled with disappointment.
"The truth hurts, Gwen." Pearl spat out without any iota of empathy or remorse for her sister.
"How dare you?" Regina's eyes flashed a dangerous red as her hand itched by her side to strike Pearl in the face.
"Oh please sister, this isn't about you but that evil woman." Pearl hissed, returning her gaze to Harriet, who was grinning like a Cheshire cat.
Regina was about to blurt out a reply when she noticed something awkward about her sister.
Some merged red dots were appearing at the base of Pearl's neck, which looked like an allergic reaction. Also, she was sweating profusely, and her hands were pulling at her dress as if she wanted to rip them apart.
Regina's eyes tilted to the peppery soup and then to her untouched wine, before settling back on her sister, who was still ranting on and on, insulting Harriet.
'Could it be...No. Harriet would never do such a wicked thing. Unless...'
"I need to get out of this dress. It's so hot." Pearl's screaming and Gwen's pleading cries broke through Regina's reveries.
Pearl was already in the process of stripping, and Gwen, covered in a yellowish-brown soup stain, was holding her.
"Desmond, please help. Something is obviously wrong with my sister." Regina cried out hurrying over to Pearl.
"Get off me," Pearl screamed, pushing Gwen, as the latter tried to restrain her.
"Honey..."
"If you dare take one step..." Harriet scowled at her husband, her grip tightening around his left wrist. "I will hurt you."
Desmond froze under his wife's murderous glare and her lethal tone.
"Pearl get a grip on yourself." Regina cried out as Pearl successfully ripped the top part of her dress while fighting Gwen off.
"I'm hot! I'm on fire. I need a man! I need my man. Let me go to him." Pearl cried stretching her hand towards Desmond.
"Your man, huh?" Harriet scoffed, cackling like a witch.
"No Harriet. My sister is obviously mistaken. But something is wrong with her. She is not in her..."
"Oh shut up, you worthless slut." Harriet spat out like a serpent spewing venom. "You are all the same... a family of wretched harlots. It's it good thing Greg kicked you all out."
"Harriet!" Regina instantly let go of Pearl, her hands cupping her blood-drained face.
"Honey, that's not a good thing to say to your..."
"Oh shut up, Desmond." Harriet whipped her vengeful gaze to her husband. "The time for talking is over. It is time for you to face the music of your shameless act." She instantly let go of his hand.
"What are you talking about?" Desmond gawked helplessly at his wife.
"Open your eyes, Desmond." Pearl cried out. "That b*tch already knows we are fucking. She poisoned my food and drink. She wants to kill me."
"Bingo! You aren't dumb after all." Harriet gave a mockery clap.
"What!" Desmond's face instantly turned as white as a sheet.
"Oh god!" Gwen's panicked eyes darted between her food and her half-consumed glass of wine. "Aunt Harriet!"
"Don't you dare mention my name, you worthless tramp?" Harriet growled like a hungry lioness. "I've already heard and seen everything you people have been doing behind my back. But guess what, it's payback time."
"I've got to get out of here." Gwen immediately let go of her aunt, seeing the vicious look in Harriet's eyes. But as she picked up her handbag and phone in readiness to run out of the dining room, four rugged-looking unknown thugs came out from nowhere, closely escorted by David.
"Who are you people!" Desmond panicked, running behind his wife and using her as a shield.
"Hoodlums!" Regina cried out, bolting to the other end of the table, closely followed by her terrified daughter.
However, Pearl –who was already high on a combined blend of aphrodisiac and hallucinating drug– saw these angry-looking thugs as an opportunity to quench the heat exuding from her body. She bolted towards them, ripping what was left of her torn dress,.and flaunting her g-string panties and see-through bra.
But instead of warm hugs and kisses, all she got was a dirty slap across the face that sent her falling back on her butt.
"Baby, we need to call the police," Desmond said reaching for his phone.
But Harriet snatched the phone from his hands and smashed it on the floor, shattering the screen.
"No one is calling anyone, because I hired these men." Harriet snarled, pushing her husband off.
"You did what!" Desmond cried out.
"No!" Regina cupped her mouth.
"Restrain that b*tch and collect the other's phones." One of the thugs, who seemed to be the leader of the gang, commanded in a fierce tone.
Immediately, Pearl's hands and legs were tied with her mouth gagged. Regina and Gwen were forced to sit on the floor with their phones and handbags seized.
"David, go to your room now." Harriet barked to her son, not wanting him to witness what she was about to do to his father.
"Okay, mum." David begrudgingly left the room while stealing glances at the half-naked Pearl.
"Honey, this is not you!" Desmond went on his knees before his wife holding on to her waist. "Please, whatever this is, we can sort it..."
Smack!
Smack!!
Before Desmond could complete his statement, Harriet unleashed two fierce slaps across his face that echoed in the room, leaving behind a painful sting on his cheeks.
"You think you can cheat on me with that wretched woman after my years of love, devotion and sacrifice."
"No...." Desmond cried holding his cheeks.
"For six good months, I suffered alone, waiting for you to come out of prison. I even humiliated myself before that your useless niece who insulted me just for you to be free. And the first reward I get is you jumping into another woman's pants while I and your children waited all night for you?"
"No." Desmond shook his head. "I would never do that to you."
"You are still lying in my face?" Harriet screamed.
"No baby, I can explain."
"Well explain this." Harriet picked up her phone and opened the video of Desmond and Pearl making out in Gwen's car. She turned her angry gaze to Gwen and spat out.
"I trusted you and this is how you repay me?"
"I'm so sorry, aunt."
"You can consider our relationship and business over from today. I do not want to ever lay my eyes on you; otherwise, I will burn you alive." Harriet looked up at the men standing behind them. "Take them away and have them flogged mercilessly before letting them go."
"Yes ma'am."
"Honey please, don't do..."
Desmond didn't get to finish his statement when Harriet picked up the plate of lasagna soup he was initially eating and hauled it in his face causing him to scream in pain.
"My eyes... It's on fire... I am blind... Help"
"This is just the beginning of your misery, you worthless cheat. I will teach you why you should never underestimate a woman who loves you." Harriet marched over to Pearl, who was almost running insane on the floor.
"And as for you worthless harlot that thinks you can take my husband away from me, I will give you a full dose of your own medicine." She looked up to the two men standing behind her and ordered "Take her away and do as I have paid you."
"With pleasure, boss lady." Both men grinned licking their lips.
