"Let me see who's little cub is wandering around at night."

Leopard Sister walked around Baby Bear and Little Monkey, her tail sweeping over their bodies.

The two little ones, scared, curled up into a ball, not daring to move, not daring to move at all.

Chen Ying felt both shocked and delighted, rushing downstairs to hug Leopard Sister's neck and rub it vigorously.

"You still remember to come back, huh? I thought you were gone for good."

Leopard Sister disdainfully pushed him away. On the other side, Brother Leopard also came up unhappily and pulled his hands away, inserting himself between his wife and the two-legged beast.

"Just talk, why the grabbing, don't you have a wife of your own? Always coveting someone else's wife!"

The half-grown leopards' memories of Chen Ying were not very clear, but they often heard about the human two-legged beast from their parents and sniffed Chen Ying's scent, imitating their parents.

It smelled quite good actually.

Big Baby and Little Baby each grabbed one of Chen Ying's hands with their mouths, hoping he would rub them like he does their mom.

Annoyed, he darted over to grab Chen Ying's collar, chattering wildly, probably not even understanding himself.

Driven by curiosity, Little Baby saw the dressed monkey and instinctively wanted to reach out his paw.

Seeing the monkey in clothes brightened his eyes and drove away any sleepiness.

"Ow, what's this thing, a new toy?"

Chen Ying quickly scooped Little Monkey out from under his claw.

"You can't play with this, it's a little brother."

Little Baby leaned in to sniff Little Monkey over and over.

"It smells like food!"

He was absolutely sure it must be food.

Goodness, this is not food!

Chen Ying quickly held his big mouth, "Listen, you can't eat this."

Little Baby, not pleased, still tried to break free and take a bite, only to be fiercely beaten by his mother out of the blue.

Leo and Big Baby rolled together, biting each other playfully, the only injuries were to their fur.

Big Baby was clearly smarter than Little Baby, knowing this was not edible and that fighting with Leo was just play.

Seeing his brother getting beaten, he didn't help but lay down laughing silently.

Seeing him laying down, laughing, Leo also lay beside him and casually picked up a bamboo stick, asking Big Baby if he wanted to eat.

Big Baby casually nudged Leo's face with his nose.

"No, no, you eat. I'm watching Mom beat up Little brother."

So, Leo alone ate melon and bamboo leaves, laughing together with Big Baby at Little Baby being rolled around on the ground by Leopard Sister.

After a lot of commotion, Leopard Sister got tired and went with Brother Leopard to find a place to rest, while the two young leopards lay down on the ground floor platform, sleeping on a bamboo mat.

The weather was around ten degrees average, the bamboo mat was cool; it had been washed last time and was to be put away until next year.

But Leo and Jiaojiao dragged it down and used it as bedding, enjoying it thoroughly and then just leaving it on the platform.

The two adolescent leopards cuddled together, sleeping soundly, while Leo curled up cleverly on another bamboo mat with an apple in his arms, also dead to the world.

After a night of antics, Chen Ying and Little Sen barely managed to wake up the next morning.

Little Sen got up early, ate breakfast, and made something delicious for Leo and Little Monkey, but was sent back to sleep by Chen Ying.

With nothing much happening, and no leaders around, there wasn't any need to watch anyone too closely.

Chen Ying set up a rocking chair on the second floor to sunbathe, and took the opportunity to interrogate Little Monkey about what mischief he and Leo were planning last night.

"Watching Grandpa, Old Monkey."

Little Monkey, holding onto Chen Ying's fingers, obediently squatted on his knees.

"In the middle of the night, you went to see Grandpa Monkey? Who came up with the idea, you or Leo?"

Little Monkey hung his head silently. It was his idea, but Leo kept egging him on, and he finally plucked up the courage to go see Grandpa Monkey before coming back.

Seeing Little Monkey's tears soaking his fur, Chen Ying felt a bit soft-hearted, but still forced himself to be tough.

"This time you ran into Aunt Leopard's family. She and Leo's kind are good friends, so they let you two off. You've heard from Little Baby too, she wants to eat monkeys, little ones like you, one gulp each!"

Little Monkey shivered violently, turned around, and held onto Chen Ying's hand, trembling non-stop, his teeth clattering audibly.

Oh no, I scared him too much!

Chen Ying quickly scooped him up into his arms.

"I'm just reminding you, you can't go out alone in the middle of the night to play, got it? If you want to see Grandpa Monkey, I'll take you there."

"No, won't go out, scared, get eaten."

Oh dear, Little Monkey is too scared to even talk.

Chen Ying dared not say more, quickly hugged Little Monkey tight, tucked him into his chest, and wrapped him tightly with a jacket, creating a sense of security for him.

As this teaching moment catastrophically collapsed, on the other side, Jiaojiao and Great Bai smelled a strange scent and were rushing back.

Once inside the area of the forest rescue station, the leopard scent was stronger. Jiaojiao stood anxiously, looking to check if the child was alright.

Upon climbing the stairs, she saw her beloved sleeping with his belly rising and falling, still holding Little Apple in his hand.

Looking at another corner, two clearly underage leopards were also sleeping soundly together.

"Hey, Black and White Bear, meet and greet."

The sudden voice startled Jiaojiao, and she abruptly turned around, feeling the ground shake.

"Don't be nervous, I won't harm your child."

Leopard Sister lay leisurely on the wood post Leo used for climbing trees, her tail sweeping.

"I also know a Black and White Bear, she's eager to find a male bear to have babies with, it was I who introduced her to the Two-legged beast."

Jiaojiao, being smart, realized from Flower Leopard's attitude that she meant no harm.

Hearing further that she knew Two-legged beast too, all seemed well.

"Black and White Bear, is this little cub your child? You need to educate him properly. Running into the forest alone at night, if he hadn't bumped into our family, you might have only found his skin."

Upon hearing this, Jiaojiao laughed sarcastically.

"Kids, if they don't obey, they need a spanking. Overindulgence isn't good; it can be deadly."

Leopard Sister licked her paw, suddenly extending her claws like sharp little knives.

"You're right, if they don't obey, they should be spanked."

Jiaojiao glanced back at Leo, who was oblivious to the danger coming his way, and thanked Leopard Sister.

"Thank you for stopping him, I'll treat you to something tasty later."

"Don't mention it, I'm a mother too, I totally get it."

Chen Ying listened silently from upstairs, glancing at Brother Leopard and Great Bai.

These two males didn't dare to make a peep, silently exchanged looks, and quietly looked away.

Raising kids, better leave it to their moms, they had no objections; they were just worried their wives would get tired or hurt their own paws.

Great Bai mustered the courage to say something but had barely opened his mouth, not even starting, when Jiaojiao's queenly glare made him swallow his words.
