[ Warning ]
[ Heir's condition is critical: danger of death! ]
"What are these sounds? And these mysterious words?"
Liam's body floated peacefully through an endlessly stretching darkness, filled with countless colorful stars.
Before him, a group of strange, hazy screens flickered into view.
His consciousness was fragmented, his eyes barely open, so he couldn't quite grasp what he was seeing. All he could do was drift towards a dark, starless void.
'Is this the end? It's so peaceful. I wish my life had always been like this.'
[ Resetting… ]
Suddenly, another screen, this one blood-red, flashed before him. Yet, he paid it no mind, merely mumbling:
"You again. Just let me enjoy this stillness."
A faint smile touched Liam's lips as he continued to drift until the boundless darkness swallowed him whole.
…..
"Ah!"
"My head."
Buzz!
Liam slowly raised a hand, clutching his throbbing head. He opened his dry eyes and looked around, but he couldn't see anything due to his blurry vision.
"Didn't I die?" He tried to think and grasp his situation, but he couldn't.
"..."
'What's that sound? Is someone here?' Mysterious mumbles began to reach his ears, but the loud buzzing and sharp pain in his head prevented him from understanding what was being said.
After a few seconds, his vision began to clear, and that's when he started to understand.
"My lord Robert, I don't think he's here. We've searched the place and found no trace of him."
"That sound." Liam raised his head and looked ahead, and that's when he saw some vague human figures.
Astonished, he quickly shook his head, and everything before him became clear. The people whose voices he had heard were Robert and his soldiers.
"Ah!"
When Liam realized this, he was startled and felt panicked. He wanted to quickly retreat, but the wall blocked him.
He also felt a burning pain in his side, which made him groan.
Despite this, his eyes remained fixed on the Baron. 'Damn it, they found me!'
His panic vanished, replaced by a cold gaze, and he yelled at the Baron, "Damn you, you bastard!"
But Robert didn't look at him, or rather, paid him no attention, as if he weren't even there.
"What?" Liam was stunned and froze in place, but his mouth immediately fell open when he heard the Baron's next words:
"That bastard, his blood trail ended in front of this palace, so why haven't we found him?"
With a furious grunt, the Baron punched a nearby stone pillar with immense force, shattering it and causing the entire palace to tremble.
It was barely standing and could collapse at any moment.
"Tsk," Robert sighed anxiously, then roared at his soldiers, "Spread out and search for any trace of that pig! We mustn't let him leave!"
"What's happening? Are they mocking me?" Liam's eyes widened. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.
Hesitantly, he forced himself to stand and walked toward the Baron until he stood right in front of him.
He looked at Robert's rough, intimidating face. Their hostile eyes met, but the Baron didn't even blink or react.
"Can't he see me?" No matter how much he thought about it, Liam couldn't understand what was happening.
"I don't remember using any invisibility spell. This isn't possible."
"Move it!" the Baron yelled again and walked forward.
"Damn it!" Liam was terrified and wanted to retreat, but he was too slow. He closed his eyes, bracing for impact, but nothing he expected happened.
He quickly opened his eyes. That's when he saw the Baron pass right through him, as if he were nothing but air.
Liam felt a strange shiver deep in his soul and gasped in surprise.
The Baron did the same, stopping in his tracks and looking around in confusion before continuing on his way, exiting the old palace.
Liam couldn't comprehend what had just happened.
He quickly chased after the Baron, wanting to touch him, but as soon as he tried to pass through the doorway, he collided with something solid that sent him sprawling to the ground.
"Ah!"
"Now what? What's going on?"
Overwhelmed by the strangeness of the situation, he quickly got up and slowly reached his hand towards the doorway. That's when he felt a solid obstruction blocking his path.
"Is this some kind of invisible barrier?"
He wanted to investigate further, but suddenly, he realized something.
He looked down at his side and noticed that the wound and the arrow had vanished, leaving behind only bloodstains on his clothes.
He touched his side, examining it carefully, but found nothing—not even a small scar. He only felt a faint trace of pain.

[ Heir's condition: Good ]
Suddenly, a series of transparent screens appeared before him. Involuntarily, he jumped back, adopting a defensive stance, but nothing happened.
"These?" He regained his composure and stared at the screens, a hint of bewilderment in his eyes.
Hesitantly, he reached out, trying to touch them, but his hand passed right through.
Ding!
[ Congratulations! ]
[ First Login Gift Pack Acquired ]
[ Open Pack: Yes/No ]
"Pack? Login?"
Liam turned, looking around for the source of the sound, but he was startled to find that the blue screens moved wherever his gaze went.
He shook his head and closed his eyes, but the screens didn't vanish. It was as if they existed within his mind.
Though terrified, he maintained his composure and dealt with the situation calmly.
"This thing? Is it connected to me? Also, why couldn't the Baron see me? Could it be that I've been separated from reality and become some kind of ghost?"
His expression twisted slightly, and he sighed in fear. "I can't live the rest of my life as a ghost in this abandoned palace."
He turned and began carefully surveying his surroundings, and that's when a certain idea struck him.
"Could this palace be the cause of everything happening to me? Perhaps it's some kind of ancient artifact."
After analyzing the situation for several minutes, he focused all his attention on the blue screen and said, "Open the pack, or whatever it is."
[ Congratulations! ]
[ Low-Level Key obtained ]
[ Use Key: Yes/Yes ]
sigh!
"A key? That's all? Where is it?" He looked around, but found no key.
After seeing the system screen again, he asked suspiciously, "Why isn't there a 'No' option? Does this thing want to force me to do what it wants?"
He silently lamented his fate. "There's nothing I can do. It seems this blue thing is behind everything happening to me, so I have to go along with it."
Then he said, "Yes, use the key."
[ Matching… ]
Tremble!
Suddenly, the ground beneath him shook with intense force, making him sway in place. He almost fell but managed to keep his balance with difficulty.
"An earthquake?"
Tremble!
The tremors intensified, and impossibly, dozens of massive pillars began to erupt from the ground, standing tall and proud.
It didn't stop there. The walls started expanding and shattering, transforming the area around him into a dark land filled with infinite stars.
He gasped, utterly shocked by the sight before him.
From nothing, dozens of walls materialized and began attaching themselves to the pillars, forming a colossal palace structure filled with luxurious hallways and grand staircases.
Still, several small gaps remained throughout the place.
Then, inexplicably again, hundreds of doors plummeted from the sky, filling these gaps and transforming the palace into a bizarre place adorned with a myriad of inconceivably shaped doors.
Some doors were massive, made of richly decorated metals, and covered in mysterious carvings and inscriptions.
Others were quite ordinary, crafted from wood, or even rough stone and marble.
Even stranger were the peculiar doors fashioned from natural elements: some were raging flames, others calm water, sharp winds, or even absolute darkness, and brilliant, raging lightning.

[ Welcome to the Dimensional Palace ]
[ I am the System, your servant ]
"Huh?" Liam exclaimed, struggling to close his gaping mouth and regain his usual composure.
But his efforts were futile; the space around him began to shift with dizzying speed.
Before he could even process what was happening, he found himself standing before a colossal black door adorned with strange carvings.
At its center, three human skulls protruded. A large keyhole was set into the mouth of the middle skull.
[ Use the reward key to open the door ]
"Huh? What key are you talking abo…" Before Liam could finish his question, he froze, his gaze fixed on his hand.
A large key, shaped like a human bone finger, had appeared in his palm. Terrified, he tried to throw the key away, but it was stuck to him.
[ Open the door ]
The System screen reappeared, but this time, he sensed a threatening tone within it.
Compelled, he inserted the key and turned it. Slowly, the door creaked open, emitting a blinding light that momentarily obscured his vision.
The light faded after a few seconds, but Liam was gone, leaving behind only a hallway filled with doors.
