Chapter 35: Chapter 35 Recruiting Four More Subordinates

Chapter 35 Recruiting Four More Subordinates

That evening at home, Lin Haoran received a call from Su Zhixue.

Su Zhixue had already invited four colleagues for the new job offer, with terms much better than their current positions. Upon hearing the news, all four had agreed without hesitation to come for an interview. After all, in the workplace, people worked for better salaries—why cling to the old when a good opportunity arose?

Thus, early the next morning, Lin Haoran arrived at the office half an hour earlier than usual.

When he arrived, Su Zhixue was already there, accompanied by a man around the same age.

This was likely the unemployed colleague he had mentioned.

"President Lin, please allow me to introduce my friend Dai Shi," Su Zhixue said warmly as Lin Haoran entered the office.

"President Lin, nice to meet you! I'm Dai Shi, honored to have the opportunity to meet you," Dai Shi said politely, extending his hand with a smile.

Lin Haoran nodded and replied, "Hello, Mr. Dai. Zhixue has told me a bit about you already. Since you're here, let's get straight to the interview."

Lin Haoran, having graduated from a business school and recently assisting Su Zhixue directly with stock trading, had already gained considerable knowledge in the field.

Thus, the interview questions he asked were mostly professional.

As for assessing character, Lin Haoran knew it required long-term observation, not a simple interview.

Moreover, once someone became his employee, he could directly see their loyalty score.

If the loyalty was too low, he could simply choose not to use them.

Therefore, he didn't waste too much time on this step.

After the interview, Lin Haoran was very satisfied with Dai Shi's performance.

Like Su Zhixue, Dai Shi had five years of hands-on trading experience—a significant asset in this field.

In Hong Kong's rapidly growing financial sector, finance professionals were not in short supply, but experience was still invaluable.

"Mr. Dai, I'm satisfied with your profile. Zhixue must have told you about the salary package. If so, let's proceed to sign the contract. You'll start today," Lin Haoran said decisively.

"Yes, President Lin, I'm looking forward to working here," Dai Shi said with a smile.

Lin Haoran took out the prepared employment contract and confidentiality agreement and handed them over.

After reviewing the documents and finding no issues, Dai Shi signed both papers promptly.

At that moment, Lin Haoran checked Dai Shi's loyalty score:

Dai Shi: [Loyalty: 71/100]

Seeing this, Lin Haoran felt relieved.

He didn't want to hire someone only to dismiss them immediately.

A loyalty score above 70 at the time of hiring was better than he had expected.

From his research over the past few weeks, Lin Haoran knew that 50 was a rough threshold—above that was acceptable, over 60 was good, and over 70 was excellent.

Lin Haoran believed that with time, Dai Shi's loyalty would increase further, making him a reliable team member.

"Congratulations, Mr. Dai, on officially joining our team. Zhixue will brief you on the work details.

Since the market opens in just over ten minutes, you might want to familiarize yourself with our operations quickly," Lin Haoran said as he shook hands with Dai Shi.

"President Lin, you're too kind. Please just call me Dai Shi or Ah Shi.

I am honored by your trust and promise to give my best effort to contribute to the company," Dai Shi replied seriously.

In the next few minutes, with Su Zhixue's detailed explanations, Dai Shi quickly understood his new role.

He was amazed to discover that he had joined a truly powerful team, backed by an extraordinary boss.

Especially when he learned that the company had mobilized tens of millions of Hong Kong dollars for stock trading within a month, he was shocked.

Such financial scale was beyond the reach of ordinary private owners—it was something only major companies or consortiums could achieve.

Dai Shi realized he had not just landed a job but found a platform where he could truly make his mark.

He silently vowed to cherish the opportunity and dedicate himself fully to his work.

With this new determination, Lin Haoran noticed Dai Shi's loyalty had already increased:

Dai Shi: [Loyalty: 75/100]

As the bell from the stock exchange hall rang, signaling the official start of trading,

a new phone had already been added to the office.

Sure enough, with the addition of a professional trader, the speed of stock acquisition today was much faster than yesterday.

Although Lin Haoran had previously helped personally, he wasn't a true professional.

Dai Shi's presence brought a burst of professional strength and efficiency to the team.

His expertise matched Su Zhixue's, and the two of them working together made the absorption process extremely smooth and effective.

At noon, during the stock market's break, the three other friends Su Zhixue had mentioned arrived for their interviews.

The interview process was much like Dai Shi's.

They were all peers of similar age and naturally had comparable experience, so Lin Haoran was preliminarily satisfied with all three.

After they signed their contracts, Lin Haoran checked their loyalty scores:

Han Zixing: [Loyalty: 62/100]

Shi Zhensheng: [Loyalty: 61/100]

Qi Fen: [Loyalty: 62/100]

Compared to Dai Shi, these three had loyalty scores a dozen points lower.

This likely stemmed from their current employment situations—since they hadn't been unemployed like Dai Shi, they didn't feel as urgent about the new opportunity.

The psychological difference naturally reflected in their loyalty scores, which was understandable.

Overall, Lin Haoran was satisfied.

"Everyone, I look forward to you completing your resignations quickly and joining our team," Lin Haoran said as he shook hands with each new hire.

According to their timelines, they would finish resigning by the end of the week and start working here next week.

When all six people were in the office, Lin Haoran noticed a serious issue:

the office space was now far too small.

Originally, it had felt spacious with just him and Su Zhixue,

but with four more people, it was now cramped.

"Looks like it's time to find a new office," Lin Haoran muttered to himself.

He decided that once the market closed that afternoon, he would go out and search for a new office space.

Meanwhile, another powerful figure was about to enter the scene—Lee Chao Yan was preparing to make his move.
