After receiving Harass's message, the Teizene Empire was ecstatic. Among their numerous pastoral planets, not a single one had the naturally endowed conditions of Earth, capable of nurturing a population of over seven billion. This was not only a vast source of food but also abundant labor.

The Lizard People treated the enslaved races both as cannon fodder and as hard labor, ultimately turning them into food, thereby fully utilizing them.

Furthermore, the geographical seclusion of the Danlu Interstellar Cloud also enhanced its security. The Teizene Empire had many planets snatched away by rivals, yet even if the Danlu Interstellar Cloud belonged to a sparse material region of space, it was still a Star Region. Any civilization capable of dominating such a Star Region could be considered a leading power in the Galaxy.

The citizens of Teizene were anxious to immediately dispatch their Fleet to Earth to deal with the Iridium Star people who had mysteriously arrived there. Their main mode of travel was merely Warp Speed. Moreover, the Teizene had not broken through to the second level of warp speed; their fleet's normal traveling speed was only at the level of Warp 7.

From the Teizene Empire's remote frontier outpost to Earth was a distance of 1,241 light-years. With Warp 7 being just over six hundred times the speed of light, it would take the Teizene Fleet at least about one and a half years to reach Earth. Including time for logistics preparation and assembly, Earth still had nearly two years to prepare.

Bai Zhongqi, upon receiving the information sent by the Teizene Empire to Harass, quickly convened an imperial council. Before Iridium Star had resolved what to do, he had not yet brought this issue for discussion to the Star Alliance.

His Imperial Majesty was blunt and did not beat around the bush with the ministers, stating directly, "The United Empire, in the process of eliminating the Brain Worm, discovered the origin of the Brain Worm and also found that there is a survivor from a brutal civilization's spaceship crash on Earth, originating from thousands of light-years away. Linyin, serving as an assistant at the Scientific Research Institute, helped Bai Zhongqi present much of the intelligence about Teizene on the holographic screen, and the information was also uploaded by Bai Zhongqi onto each minister's smart device. As everyone quickly browsed through this information, they grew increasingly horrified.

Xu Lanzhou, frowning beautifully, slid her delicate finger over the screen and said, "It appears that in the Galaxy of the Second Universe, the density of civilizations is much higher than in our First Universe, and there are even classifications of civilizations. A level one civilization possesses stable interplanetary travel capabilities, a level four civilization controls a form of superlight travel, a level ten civilization has travel speeds beyond Warp 4, a level fourteen civilization's energy shields can defend against 200MW weapon attacks, and a level twenty civilization possesses basic antimatter energy… So are these classifications formed by a large number of variable nodes combined with key technologies? While comprehensive, real inter-civilization interactions can hardly rely solely on this method."

Linyin interjected, "Yes, yes, in fact, most civilizations develop their technologies unevenly. For instance, Iridium Star now has technological prowess that could rank it at the level of a 24th-level civilization, and it has even completed the key technology of a 27th-level civilization, Atomic Substance Construction. But in the ranking, the territory, population, and even development time of a civilization are all required, and the weightings are quite significant. Bai Zhongqi crossed his arms, bowed his head in silence for a few seconds, then lifted his head and said, "Iridium Star has never fled from battle. No matter how powerful our enemies are, we have never shied away, nor have we ever abandoned our Capital Star."

Despite everything, Du Peng had a certain amount of backbone. He held firm to his own views, even if it meant clashing head-on with Bai Zhongqi, the Imperial Chancellor. "Your Majesty, the true capital of Iridium Star has never been Earth, but Iridium Star itself. The Danlu Interstellar Cloud is indispensable for Iridium Star, but for Teizene, it's also a huge temptation. Engaging in a fierce battle over this star region is hardly a wise choice."

The ministers at the imperial meeting gradually divided into two factions, one led by Du Peng advocating for a temporary strategic retreat, taking some of the Earth's population and establishing a new stronghold elsewhere; the other led by Xu Lanzhou, the hardliners who believed that the Iridium Star United Empire had no reason to show cowardice before an opponent like Teizene, and should fight when faced with a battle, vowing to win every fight as per Iridium Star's creed.

Watching his subordinates argue, Bai Zhongqi was unusually silent, even excessively calm. He understood the views of Du Peng and others, even if Earth had significant implications, and the Chinese were like another Iridium Star people in a parallel universe, but ultimately Du Peng and his group prioritized themselves. For politicians, there is nothing that cannot be abandoned.
