Game Of Thrones : Merchant of Two Worlds

Chapter 131: 131. Custom Noble Medal Dresses

After finalizing the deal, Jason Liu exchanged a few pleasantries with the other party before ending the call.

Yawning, turned off his phone, and went straight to bed.

Meanwhile, the factory buzzed with activity. The large order Jason had secured kept the entire team of over 20 employees working through the night. Bright lights illuminated the workshop as machines hummed and workers pushed to meet the deadline.

The next day, Jason slept until noon. After waking up, he freshened up and checked his phone. Among the notifications was a missed call from Lin Xiaohan.

Grabbing a bottle of milk from the fridge, he called her back while taking a sip.

"Hey, Mr. Liu, are you coming to the office today?" Lin Xiaohan's exasperation was clear. "You know, you're the boss. Shouldn't you be around more often?"

Jason chuckled, slightly embarrassed. "Hahaha, the managers are doing great work, and everything I've delegated has been handled perfectly. I'd only be in the way if I showed up daily. What's up? Why'd you call?"

Lin Xiaohan sighed. "A few documents need your signature. Also, another shipment of soaps, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and stationery just arrived. We need to settle the payment for it."

Jason waved it off casually. "You can sign on my behalf for now. I'll review everything when I stop by."

Lin Xiaohan, already expecting this answer, agreed and hung up.

Instead of lounging at home, Jason had plans. He'd found a creative clothing studio in Zheng City online and intended to commission a set of luxurious, custom-designed noble attire.

Driving the same commercial vehicle as the previous day, he headed to studio. His destination was an office building where the studio operated.

Inside, the studio spanned about 100 square meters. Employees worked at over ten stations, busy with their tasks.

A young woman in business attire approached him. "Hello, sir. How can I help you today?"

"I'd like to order some special suits. Who should I speak with about that?" Jason asked.

"Please follow me," she said, leading him to a small office at the back.

Inside, a manager with heavy makeup and a long ponytail was absorbed in a stack of clothing design sketches. Noticing Jason, the manager stood up with a smile and extended a hand.

"Hello, sir. May I know your name?"

Jason hesitated briefly before shaking the offered hand. After introductions, the manager invited him to sit on a small sofa.

The young woman from earlier brought two glasses of water, placing them on the table.

Jason cleared his throat, feeling a bit uneasy under the manager's heavily made-up gaze. "I'm Jason Liu. I'd like to design a set of modern Western royal and noble medal dresses. Can your studio handle that?"

The manager nodded confidently. "Absolutely. We collaborate with several garment factories. Once the designs are ready, we can have them produced quickly. Do you have any specific patterns or ideas in mind?"

Jason shook his head. "No, I'm relying on your recommendations. My only requirements are that the attire looks high-end, luxurious, dignified, and appropriate for formal occasions."

The manager tapped their chin thoughtfully before pulling up a series of images on a computer. "These are some medal dress designs we've collected. Please take a look and let me know if any suit your needs."

Jason examined the options, ignoring the manager's overpowering perfume. He eventually chose a white medal dress with a simple yet majestic design.

"This one is perfect," he said.

"Great choice!" the manager said. "Do you want to stick to this design for all the sets?"

Jason nodded. "Yes. I'd like four sets—two in white and two in black—following this exact style."

The manager informed him of the cost. "Each complete set, including long leather boots, costs 9,000 yuan. It's a bit pricey. Are you sure about ordering four sets?"

Jason dismissed the concern with a wave. "Yes, I'm sure."

The manager called over two assistants to take Jason's measurements. It took two hours to record every detail, ensuring a perfect fit.

Afterward, Jason asked about the production timeline.

"Don't worry," the manager assured him. "Once I send the design and measurements to the factory, production won't take more than three days. We can even deliver the completed outfits to your home."

Jason provided his address and paid a 10,000-yuan deposit before leaving.

Feeling satisfied, he drove to the city's largest photovoltaic solar panel company. Westeros' lack of electricity and reliance on dim candlelight and oil lamps had become a growing inconvenience.

Initially, he avoided staying in Westeros after dark. But as his trade operations expanded and his staff increased, he spent more time there.

Jason planned to purchase solar panels, large batteries, and high-power LED lights. This setup would bring modern lighting to his castle, making nighttime work far more efficient.
