Game of Thrones: The Drogon Voice

Chapter 21: Chapter 21: Snooping

Shireen knew it was not a good idea to look through other people's backpacks, but she was really curious. With Drogon's permission, she opened the bag and first saw the hay bale, then the gray-white flint, and also a small pile of gold and silver coins at the bottom of the bag.

"Do you know how to make fire?" shireen asked in surprise, taking out the flint.

Drogon nodded.

"Strange, I've never seen these coins before. Do you still spend money?"

Drogon made a motion with his wing hook as if he were stuffing it into his mouth.

"To buy food?" Shireen's eyes widened. With so many gold and silver coins, she could buy a lot of delicious food!

"By the way, my name is Shireen Baratheon. What's your name?" Shireen suddenly remembered that she forgot to introduce herself.

"It's a pity that you can't speak..." After asking, she answered herself regretfully.

Seeing Shireen put the flint into the backpack, Drogon put it around his neck and walked towards the window. He was about to leave.

"Are you leaving?" shireen asked reluctantly, feeling a little disappointed.

Drogon raised his wings and waved them. Shireen blinked and pouted her lips to ask, "Can I touch you?"

Seeing Drogon nod, Shireen reached out her little hand and carefully touched the delicate scales on his back, then touched the scarlet wings before she was satisfied.

Drogon looked at Shireen, flapped his wings and flew upwards. Shireen stood on tiptoe and stuck her little head out of the window, trying to take another look at Drogon.

Only to find that Drogon did not fly away, but flew towards a taller building of the castle. He frowned his cute brows slightly, wondering what Drogon was going to do.

After flying to a certain height, drogon could see clearly that the bell tower building had a large and transparent terrace, and he felt delighted.

I hid on the raised stone platform and listened for a while, but there was no sound. I approached the terrace and looked around. In the spacious room supported by several pillars, there was a large wooden table in the middle of the room. There were various carvings on it, but no one was there.

He flew into the room, looked outside the door before turning around and carefully examining the wooden table map, which simulated mountains, rivers, and plains, with place names marked, and a scale on the edge of the map.

There are wolves, lions, deer and dragons carved on the table, representing the family emblems of major families. The whole map feels more vivid than a modern sand table.

Drogon first found Dragonstone, then looked next to it and realized that the island he had just seen was Tidehead. He then looked for King's Landing, which was southwest of Dragonstone, close to Blackwater Bay.

I looked up the big cities and regions in my memory and confirmed them with the memories in my mind.

As a dragon, Drogon not only inherited the talent of devouring and knowledge of language and writing, but also had a powerful brain and a very good memory. He memorized the entire map in less than ten minutes.

Just as he was about to analyze the proportions again and strengthen his memory, he suddenly heard footsteps approaching from outside the room. He hurriedly flew out and lay down on the side of the terrace.

"I seemed to hear some sound just now." A charming woman in a scarlet robe walked into the room, looked at the deer sculpture that had just stopped swaying and said as she walked to the edge of the terrace.

"Who could be here? They're just seabirds!" a male voice said nonchalantly.

The woman was still worried, so she poked her head out to the edge of the terrace, but when she found nothing she returned to the wooden table.

"Your Majesty, I have to go out for a while. I will serve you again when I come back." The charming female voice said again.

"What? Are you going to abandon me and look for another God?" the man asked with a hint of anger and unwillingness.

Could it be Stannis and the red-robed woman, Melisandre? Drogon analyzed the conversation and judged.

"You are the one chosen by the King of Light. How could I abandon you? Your strength is not enough to win this war. I will go out to find a way to increase your strength. When I come back, it will be time for you to regroup! By then, the area marked on this map will be your territory."

Stannis stared into the red-robed woman's eyes, trying to determine whether what she said was true or not. The red-robed woman raised the corners of her mouth and looked at him calmly. Stannis gave in and lowered his head to kiss her smooth cheek, taking a deep breath, as if he wanted to keep her scent deep in his memory.

There was silence for a while, no more talking was heard, only the sound of footsteps slowly fading away.

Drogon knew that the Red Woman would never abandon Stannis. She was most likely going out this time to find King Robert's illegitimate son, absorb the power of his "love" and blood to gain the power of the curse, and use leeches to curse the three false kings.

An erotic and bizarre scene is about to take place, but Drogon will not have the chance to see it this time.

He had no plan to go in and look at the map again. He would naturally become familiar with the terrain after flying around Westeros a few times. Memorizing it by rote would not be as solid as seeing it in person.

With the map in his mind, Drogon used his claws to push away from the castle and flapped his wings to fly towards King's Landing.

As

soon as Drogon took off, the red-robed woman ran into the room, rushed onto the terrace, and looked up at Drogon, who was gradually turning into a black dot.

"What's going on?"

Stannis, who was following behind, was confused and asked with a frown as the red-robed woman ran in.

"My feeling just now was correct. It was this one that entered here." The red-robed woman's face darkened slightly.

"It was only a seabird." Stannis thought the red woman was being overly cautious.

"That's not an ordinary seabird. Seabirds are not that fast, and I saw a shining red light on it." The red-robed woman explained.

"Could it be an alien?" Stannis also knew something about the aliens.

"Maybe, I need enlightenment."

Stannis knew that the Red Woman was going to burn people alive again, so he ordered the guards around him: "Take a dark servant to the square." Dark servants are the name for opponents of the Red Woman.

"One is not enough. I can feel the red light's extraordinaryness. Bring three dark slaves." The red-robed woman narrowed her eyes, still trying to find the meaning of the red light.

Ten minutes later, in Dragonstone Square, in an open space near the beach, three wounded soldiers were tied to a cross, with firewood piled under their feet.

The red-robed woman stood in front of the three crosses with a solemn expression. She glanced at the three people in front of her, lowered her head, closed her eyes, and silently recited a few words, then signaled the three soldiers holding torches to light the firewood.

The flames quickly spread and soon covered the three people. Their screams spread throughout the entire beach, and the soldiers watching around them all looked unbearable.

Stannis stood there indifferently, and the red-robed woman turned a deaf ear to the soldiers' screams, staring at the three burning flames with wide eyes, muttering a prayer silently.

The prayers were recited faster and faster, but there was no sign of anything unusual in the raging fire. Just when the red-robed woman thought that the sacrifice had failed, a huge, ferocious black dragon head suddenly roared out of the fire and bit the red-robed woman.

"Ah!" The woman in red robe screamed, staggered back a few steps, spat out a mouthful of blood, and sat on the ground.

Stannis, who was watching the sacrifice nearby, rushed over and supported the red-robed woman.

"Yes...it's a dragon, a black dragon!" The woman in red robe said and then fainted.

At the same time, Drogon, who was heading towards King's Landing, suddenly felt a sense of being spied on. He slowed down his flight speed and looked forward, backward, left and right, but found nothing.

"Strange." He muttered to himself and then flew forward quickly.
