Game of Thrones: The Drogon Voice

Chapter 37: Chapter 37: Second Son Mercenary Group

He thought Daenerys was trying hard to cover up, and smiled and said: "If you are willing to leave Yunkai, in addition to these, we will also have gifts no less than the current ones to give you, so that you can fully feel the generosity of the wise lord of Yunkai."

This queen who had just used brutal means to rob eight thousand Unsullied had probably never seen so many gold coins and jewels before! Razdal thought disdainfully.

Daenerys glanced calmly at the two bronze treasure chests without showing a trace of greed. She already had more than 8,000 elite warriors in her hands. With them, she would naturally get gold coins and jewels slowly.

Thinking of the skinny slave who was trembling slightly while carrying the treasure chest, Daenerys completely abandoned the slight softness she had for her wise lord.

"For the sake of these gifts, I will spare your lives, provided that you voluntarily release your slaves. Otherwise, when I conquer Yunkai, it will not be so easy to redeem your lives."

Razdar was furious when he heard Daenerys say this: "You took Astapor by deception and barbarity. Yunkai has tall and strong walls, brave warriors, and powerful friends."

"If you think you can conquer Yunkai with just three immature dragons, be careful or we'll shoot your dragons!"

Hiss!

[You guys are too young to shoot me, a few more crossbows will be enough.] Drogon roared at Razdal, sparks splashed on him, almost igniting his gorgeous robes.

"Your people said you would ensure my safety!" Razdal shouted angrily as he frantically patted out the flames on his clothes.

"I promised you, but if you want to kill yourself and anger my dragon, there's nothing I can do about it." Daenerys said with a smile.

"Carry the boxes and let's go!" Razdal knew there was no need to continue the conversation and said to the four slaves.

After witnessing how Drogon almost burned the wise master, the skinny slave approached the box with some worry, but as soon as he stretched out his hand, he was met with a roar from Drogon.

He threatened to kill him and wanted to take away the boxes he had brought, but Drogon was not someone who would be easily persuaded.

Seeing Drogon's ferocious look, Razdal didn't dare to say anything more. There were two bigger dragons in the sky. If his roar attracted the other two, his death would be in vain.

Throwing his sleeves angrily, Razdar got on the sedan chair and left without looking back.

Seeing that the slave owner had left, Drogon flew to the box of gold coins, grabbed a handful of gold coins, and watched them rustle as they slipped between his claws. His little heart began to beat violently.

Most of the gold coins in the box were newly minted and looked extremely eye-catching.

Although a lot of gold, silver and jewelry were looted from Xaro's mansion and Astapor, none of them were as dazzling as those stored in this bronze box.

Seeing the golden light flashing in Drogon's fiery eyes, Daenerys smiled and asked Missandei to bring a small cloth bag and fill it with something specially left for him.

The gold coins in the cloth bag were not as satisfying as those in the box. Drogon scooped out a few handfuls with his claws and satisfied himself before stopping.

"Ser Jorah, have you found out which mercenary group is around the city walls?" In more than an hour it would be time to negotiate with the mercenary group, and Daenerys wanted to find out who she was negotiating with.

"They are the Second Sons Mercenary Group, with about 2,000 members. They have a long history and are quite powerful. Some knights or nobles have joined this mercenary group in order to train themselves."

After listening to Jorah's report, Daenerys couldn't help but feel a little worried. Although the Unsullied were powerful, they would have suffered considerable damage after fighting with the mercenary group, and they would have to attack the city afterwards. She couldn't imagine how many Unsullied would be left.

More than an hour later, the Second Son Mercenary Group arrived as scheduled. There were still three of them. The leader was tall and had a hideous scar on his left cheek.

Jorah introduced the identities of the three people. The person in the middle was Mero, the captain of the Second Sons. The not-so-tall man on his right was Plandar, and the man on his left who had a big beard and looked quite handsome was called Dario.

[Is this one of Dragon Queen's lovers? He's not bad looking, but he can forget about it when I'm here.] Drogon seemed to realize something when he saw Daario.

"Face...head?" Daenerys didn't understand what this word meant in Drogon's mind language, and Drogon seemed to know what connection Daario would have with himself.

She couldn't help but look at Dario. He was indeed quite manly, but she had no interest in him.

Seeing Daenerys looking at him, Daario gave a self-proclaimed charming smile and nodded.

"Are you the Mother of Dragons?" Mero glanced at Drogon with slight surprise, and walked forward as he spoke. He was about to approach Daenerys when he was stopped by Barristan.

"Old man, can you still swing your sword?" Looking at Barristan's white hair, Mello jokingly said.

"Killing you is no problem!" Barristan looked at him with a nonchalant smile.

"Hehe!" Mello walked aside and continued: "I was wondering why you looked familiar. The prostitute I fucked that day was also wearing this blue dress, but she was not wearing anything underneath." As he said that, he pretended to lift Daenerys' skirt.

Hiss!

Drogon almost spit fire. If the Second Sons had not been invited, he would have burned them all to ashes.

Barristan, who was guarding Daenerys, also drew out half of his sword.

"I am not a wise lord who has never seen blood. I didn't expect your little dragon to be so powerful!" Facing Drogon's threat, Mello just tilted his head.

"Don't you want my Second Son Group? Kneel down in front of me and I will agree to it." Mello said while sitting on the chair and looking down at himself.

"Well!"

Melo only felt a pain in his neck, a shadow flashed before his eyes, and blood gushed out from his neck.

Daario and Planda, who were sitting in the reception room, only reacted at this time and drew their scimitars and long swords at their waists, looking at Drogon in shock who was standing steadily on Daenerys's shoulder.

They were not mistaken. The dragon that had just scratched Mero's neck was the little dragon, but it was too fast. By the time they reacted, it had already scratched Mero's neck and flew back to Daenerys' shoulder.

Jorah and the others realized what was going on when Mero covered his neck. They quickly took up their swords and looked at Drogon in shock.

They knew that Drogon was very powerful. Even after becoming smaller, he could still make Rhaegal and Viserion scream in pain. However, they did not expect that Drogon's speed and control accuracy were so abnormal.

From flapping his wings to cutting Drogon's throat and returning, it was all done in one go. Not only Mero, the person involved, but even Jorah and the others didn't see Drogon's movements clearly.

Mero pressed his throat, which was bleeding and painful from being scraped, with fear in his eyes. He had no doubt that Drogon could slit his throat with one wing.

[Why isn't your mouth dirty anymore?] Drogon looked at Mero calmly.

He thought he had scratched the wrong place just now, and should have scratched below to let Mero taste Theon's pain. However, when the fight started, he wanted to give it a try so that Mero would never be able to be a shameless person again.

Daenerys stroked Drogon's back with relief. She used to like to touch his head, but after Drogon dodged her several times, she realized that he didn't like her to touch his head.
