Jay-jay's POV

The fire in the bonfire we made was strong. It's a good thing I'm not drunk
right now and I might suddenly call out something. Just like before! I
shook my head as I put it out of my
mind. I was shocked! I looked stupid and there was still a video. I just hope I don't do that again. What a
shame! "Still nothing?" David asked.We checked the lookouts but they just shook their heads at us. It was a
sign that they were still not there. We strongly suspected that we had really been robbed. We needed to make
sure and we thought of a way to send a spy to another Section. It was supposed to be in B for now because
one of them was the owner of the handkerchief we got. But Keifer thought of sending someone else. Let's go
to the Spy! "There it is! There it is!" Mayo shouted. We immediately waited. Rory and Edrix were the first to
arrive from Section A. Kit and Eren followed them from Section B. Blaster and Drew arrived last from Section
D. We still had someone waiting from Section C. "Why aren't they here yet?" Eman asked worriedly. Even I was
worried. Maybe they got caught. We sent two people to each Section. Not that we suspected Rakki's Section
but we needed to make sure. "I can see it!" Mayo shouted and we saw Ci-N and Felix coming. "Is everything
complete?" David asked. "Here it is!" "Complete! No mistakes!" "Okay!" Everyone approached the bonfire. It
was like we were in an important meeting. It was important, because it was about food! "Rory & Edrix! Did you
see anything?" Keifer asked. "Yes!" Rory replied. "...they have our cooler!"
"Shit!"
"Why them?!"
"What are we doing there?!"
Yuri silenced everyone with a gesture with her hand.
They did so and Rory continued speaking.
"...This is bad. They filled the cooler with alcohol. We can't
report it to the organizer." He took a deep breath. "...
they might think it's ours too."
Most of us agreed. We can't say
that in Section A. They'll definitely turn us around.
"How about you, Kit and Eren?" Keifer asked again.
"We do." Kit answered. "...They have our rice."
"Did they share our food?" David asked annoyed.
Even I was annoyed. Why did they have to rob us?
We don't do anything to them.
Are we?
"Our canned goods and noodles are in Section D. The
six boxes we brought." Blaster interjected.
"Section C is clean!" Ci-N said while raising her hand.
"...Rakki me'loves is kind. He can't do that to us."
Hey... that's a good thing.
That's what I was thinking too. Rakki can't really do that to us.
It seems like our food is only in three Sections.
But my Snorlax?
"Confirmed, it's in their possession." Yuri said and walked around as
if thinking something. "...But how can we get it back from them?"
Great question! But no answer!
"We can't report it to the organizer." Rory reminded.
"If we confront them, can we?" My suggestion.
"Maybe they'll report us to the organizer and turn us over."
Edrix replied.
He had a point!
Ci-N suddenly raised his hand while still jumping around. "If
we just blow up their tents and take our stuff!
Then kill the fighters and enslave the women!!!
Bwuhahahahahaha!" He said while laughing as if it was impactful.
We all grinned at what he was saying. I'm not sure if I'm
the only one who notices that Ci-N is getting brutal. Could it be that
he's eating something in his condo?
"Did you have breakfast?" Drew asked him.
Ci nodded his head and looked at us in surprise.
"Medicine, have you had anything to drink?"
Eren asked.
"Medicine where?" Ci-N also asked with dead malice.
"In your brain! Your hit is so strong!" I said annoyed.
He just laughed at us. This kid must be lacking sleep.
It's just the effect of the rabies!
"We have no time for jokes! We need to think of a way
to get back the food."
Keifer said seriously.
To be honest, he was right. It's still early for dinner but I'm already hungry.
When our stomachs start to rumble,
that's a big problem.
Hasn't anyone seen my Snorlax?
He always had suggestions and things to do. While
Ci-N was thinking and fretting----that it was just his plan for
us to do----something fell behind him.
He looked at it and before we could even ask what it was,
he suddenly started to bark like a woman.
"Snake! Snake! Snake!" He shouted.
The Cobras immediately got into a panic and ran away. Some even tripped
and fell. Because of the pain in my body and legs, I couldn't stand up right away.
I could see the Snake's head rolling around as if
looking for a victim.
"We're going to die!"
"Aaaahhhh!"
"I don't want to die yet!"
I forced myself to stand up and if I could see it, suddenly
Ci-N got on my back while shouting.
"Jay-jay's best friend! He's going to bite us!"
Best friend?!
When have I ever had a best friend who was a Snake? It's really abnormal!
Because my body was sore and he was so heavy, I couldn't
move right away from where I was standing.
"Ci-N! Get out of there!" I shouted.
"Let your best friend go!"
Oh, my!
My body couldn't take it anymore. We fell to the
ground on our own accord. I just closed my eyes.
"Ouch!" I shouted as I hit the ground.
That's mud! My body was in pain.
I was already beaten up, this little guy even rode me and we fell to the ground.
"Don't move!" Someone shouted.
I opened my eyes. Shutanginames! Face to face with my Bestie!
That's why someone shouted don't move.
The Snake's head was right in front of me. I could see its tongue sticking out
as it looked at me.
I was its target! I was going to die!
"Don't move!" They shouted again.
I saw Yuri picking up a tree branch but before he
could use it, the Snake's head rose even higher. An indication that
it was ready to bite.
Literally no one moved from us. If only I could hold
my breath, I would have. I couldn't even blink or
look away.
Suddenly we heard the sound of a broken stick or branch.
That caused the snake's mouth to open and wait to bite
me.
But its mouth didn't get close to me. Someone pulled its tail
away from me.
Keifer!
He threw the Snake away and it hit the tree. That's the only
reason my bestie didn't stop----huh?!
The Snake quickly crawled back to Keifer to bite him but
he immediately avoided running away.
Jay-jay was really unlucky!
"Jay! Get out of there!"
"Jay-jay!"
I was really his target! Before I could even stand up to run,
he was already coming towards me. I thought it was the end of me. I thought
my life would end there but a Swiss knife went into the Snake's head.
We all breathed a sigh of relief. Yuri helped me stand up.
He hugged me too.
"Sorry... I couldn't even help you." He whispered before letting go.
"It's okay... I survived."
Keifer immediately ran towards me. He immediately hugged me
tightly.
"Shit! I didn't know you were still behind me!"
I looked at Yuri for a moment. I could see in his eyes that he was hurt.
He immediately moved away from us.
"Jay-jay's best friend is dead." Ci-N said as if announcing
the news on the radio.
Whoops!
"There's a snake here! Why did the organizer still put us here?!"
Mayo asked annoyed.
He was right! Why did they still put us here? My suspicion was correct when
I saw the tall grass not far away.
I saw David pull the swiss knife from the snake's head.
He wiped it before fixing it and putting it in his pocket.
"David!" I called to him and he turned to me. "...Thank you!"
"Anytime." He said and smiled.
Ci-N and the snake approached. They even poked at a small branch
of the tree to see if it was alive. It was still moving a bit but looked like
a worm that had been sprinkled with salt.
Suddenly, Ci-N smiled broadly and faced us all. "
I know how we can get our food back."
I had a strong feeling that this little guy was going to do something bad
. But we needed to hear his plan.
He brought us all closer and explained the plan he was talking about.
"Are you sure about this, Ci?" I asked him.
"Of course! Let me finish first." He told me annoyed and
I let him continue his explanation of what we were going to do.
When he finished explaining, everyone agreed.
We divided the group first. Those who were going to Section A, B and D.
The others would be left to guard our camping site.
Drew left to get what he needed. David made sure that
the Snake was dead and that there was nothing wrong with what we were going to do.
"Has none of you seen my Snorlax?" I asked
all of them.
The crowd looked at each other to see their answers. That's all they
looked at.
"I'm not sure..." Edrix said so we looked at him.
"...Ella is holding a staffed toy, but I didn't see it
properly."
Come on!
No one would bring a staffed toy here----except me. Maybe that's it!
My Snorlax!
"Here it is! Here it is!" Drew shouted while running with a fishing
rod.
David immediately arranged the Snake to tie it to the fishing rod.
They made sure that the attachment was strong and proper.
When they finished what they were doing, they got ready.
They went to Section D first to retrieve our canned goods and noodles.
I, Keifer, Yuri, Josh, Mayo and Denzel were left behind. They were trying to set up
the damaged tents. It looked like the others would be forced to share.
"Will Ci-N's plan work?" I asked.
"It will work... Ci-N." Denzel answered me.
I was worried. They might get caught, it would be a big mess if they did.
We were still fighting with Section D.
We also had a few minutes of fooling around. I looked at Hari and
Yuri. They were just quiet, there were times when they talked
but only for a moment.
Why me?
If I wasn't the girl in Section E, would
they still like me? Maybe at least one of them would like someone else.
Hey... I'm still feeling sad. I'm having a hard time with their situation.
It's really my fault.
"Jay..." Mayo called to me and sat down next to me. "...how
are you feeling?"
"It still hurts when I move."
"Josh has a pain reliever there. Do you want one?" He offered it to me.
I immediately shook my head. "Don't... It'll go away too."
"Tatag... Will you really tolerate the pain?"
"Of course... It's like I didn't fight before."
He just nodded in acceptance of my answer. We were both silent
or a moment. I felt like he wanted to say something so he came over to me.
"Is there a problem?" I asked.
She forced a smile. "Because Kit..."
"Why?"
She took a deep breath. "Because she really doesn't want to. Should I
give up?"
She was really asking me.
"I-I don't know. Your situation is so difficult." I hesitated
.
She took another deep breath. I could feel her sadness. I felt like
it was right for us to be together in a corner. Why are they both boys? Why is it that the one who liked me
was best friends ? "Maybe..." She started. "...I'll stop her..." She smiled and looked away. "...Maybe that's
enough." I don't know, but the words she said seemed to hurt her. She almost cried in front of me to confirm
the pain she was feeling. We heard some noise. Mayo and I immediately stood up. They arrived, carrying our
boxes full of canned goods and noodles. They were still laughing and teasing each other. They placed the
boxes in front of Keifer. They opened them and checked to see if there was any left. "It's missing... It looks like
they've already taken it." Yuri said. "That's okay. At least we got it back." David said. "We're in Section B." Ci-N
was happy. She must have been overjoyed because her plan had worked. The lukos left again, bringing the
fishing rod where the Snake was hanging. My bestie was so pitiful. This time, Kit and Eren were left behind.
They arranged the placement of the boxes. They also used the broken tents as cover. I looked at Mayo who
was staring at Kit. I could see in her that she really wanted to talk to the person she loved. I was shocked to
see a tear welling up in one of her eyes. She immediately wiped it away. "I-I'll go with them." She said goodbye
to me and immediately followed Ci-N. I turned my gaze back to Kit and saw that her gaze was following Mayo.
Eren patted his arm so he immediately went back to what he was doing. Did he see Mayo crying? I felt sorry
or the two of them. I hope they can talk properly. Even if I wanted to interfere with them, I can't. I have my own
problems too. And they are currently looking at me.
