Chapter 237: Shane's New Items
A 300% percent boost, even if it was only for 10 minutes, could surely save lives!
After all, as they level up, their strength and other stat also grew higher… Having a temporary 300% boost was similar to leveling up more than ten or twenty times!
Considering that leveling up was incredibly difficult, especially at levels 10, 15, 20, and so on, this syringe was definitely a valuable item.
Thankfully, it was inexpensive. It was only worth 125 Zombie Cores for each of them, so he didn't have to use his Vouchers yet.
After purchasing them all and spending 375 cores, Shane started looking at the four other items being sold.
[ Hunter Stealth Cloak ( Exceptional ): This advanced cloak utilizes stealth technology to render the wearer nearly invisible to both zombies and human threats. Perfect for sneaking past dangerous areas undetected.

"Mhmm? Hunter? Is it from the Zombie?" Shane muttered as he recalled the Hunter Zombies that Shinja and Layla eliminated.
What he actually obtained from the Hunter Zombie was a Shadow Cloak… It was a Master-Grade item and had incredible effects. It had two skills called Shadow Step and Night Embrace. However, that item was Unstackable.
He couldn't wear his tunic or armor while wearing that cloak…
Nonetheless, the item he was seeing right now didn't seem to have the same limitation, so he still decided to purchase it.
Shane then continued checking the three other items.
[ Solar-Powered Lantern ( Uncommon ): A lantern equipped with solar panels for recharging during the day and emitting light at night. It is a reliable light source for exploring dark areas without attracting unwanted attention. Read more on m_vl_em_p_yr

"They're all not bad…" Shane muttered as he bought all of these items.
Shane also wanted to check his current inventory to look for anything he had missed, just in case there were still important items here that he had to leave to others before moving out of the shelter.

"This stat cap once again…" Shane sighed as he felt truly disappointed that he couldn't just consume all of his Strength, Agility, and Vitality Enhancement Potions he had collected.
He actually received a message from the system that his Physique had already reached the limit of his current level. In order to increase his current stats, he had to level up, which was obviously easier said than done.
Despite that, however, his items' stat boosts were able to ignore the level cap!
The 60 Agility Points increase he had from his Crawler Grasp Gloves, Crawler Fang Daggers, and Shround of Shadows Cape was still working!
Apparently, after getting so much Item Upgrade Crystals, he upgraded these Master-Grade items to Epic-Grades! That was 100 Item Ugprade Crystals each!
[Crawler's Grasp Gloves ( Epic ): Crafted from the enhanced fibers of Cryptic Crawler exoskeletons, these gloves provide the wearer with unmatched grip and tactile sensitivity. The inner lining is embedded with micro-filaments that stimulate the wearer's reflexes, allowing for precise and swift movements.

Perfect Venomous Strike: A successful hit has a chance to inject a paralyzing toxin, immobilizing the target temporarily. ]
[ Shroud of Shadows Cape ( Epic ): Woven from a fabric that seems to drink in the darkness, this cape cloaks the wearer in shadows. The outer layer is treated with a rare compound that diffuses light, rendering the wearer nearly invisible in low-light conditions.
Effects: +20 Agility, +50% Movement Speed
Special Effect:
Perfect Shadowmeld: When activated, the wearer fades into the shadows, becoming undetectable to the naked eye until the used Spirit Points disappear.
Cost: 1 Spirit Points per second ]
With such Epic Weapons in his possession, Shane felt a lot more confident going outside.
At this point, he no longer needed the Ethereal Cloak of Shadows, which also had Perfect Shadowmeld. He had bought it in the secret shop before, and he was considering just selling it to his clan members.
Anyway, Shane continued checking the loot he had obtained yesterday during the Zombie Wave.

After some time, as Shane meticulously organized his inventory, ensuring that each item was accounted for. Then, he was interrupted by the unexpected arrival of Mr. Wadsworth…
"Lord Shane, there is a visitor at the gates—a mysterious figure claiming to be a wandering merchant seeking to trade with Foreign Survivors," Mr. Wadsworth informed Shane with a tone of cautious intrigue.
"A merchant?"
The notion of a stranger arriving with goods to barter piqued Shane's curiosity, especially given the merchant's selective preference for trading with someone like him.
Intrigued by the prospect of this unusual encounter, Shane suddenly became suspicious. After all, the timing of the merchant's arrival was too perfect.
Could this be an event made by the System?
Shane considered this, and he couldn't help but smile at it.
