The Dread Titan was certainly a difficult opponent. It had a high defense and normal attacks wouldn't work against it.

Nonetheless, Otto and Sona, the two elemental magicians, attacked in unison. If physical attacks weren't that effective, they have to consider using magic attacks instead.

Soon, the two of them released their powerful attacks.

"Inferno Lance!" Otto chanted as he threw a spiral of fire that engulfed the Dread Titan.

"Permafrost Bind!" Sona followed up, encasing the zombie's legs in ice, slowing its movements.

The Dread Titan roared in frustration and with a burst of strength, he managed to break free. However, it was not before Vernon took his shot.

BANG!

A silver-tipped round pierced through the Zombie's eyeball, blowing out its left eye!

"It's working… That eye is soft!" Vernon called.

"Not enough!" Shane said as he also started shooting with his gun… This time, it was faster and stronger!

He targeted the Zombie's eyes as well but even after they were able to destroy its brain, the Zombie was still standing strong. It means that they have to find its core to completely kill it!

"What a tough Zombie…" Raze muttered as she was observing the whole situation. They were certainly tougher than the previous four commander-type Zombies they killed.

Soon, the Dread Titan ripped off its own damaged helmet. It seemed to be an instinctive move as it revealed a skull-like face… To be exact, it felt as if there was no muscle on its body as its skin stuck too close to its body.

Soon, the Dread Titan slammed its axe down again, forcing the team to scatter.

In the meantime, while the team battled the Commanders, Roan engaged the Zombie Lord almost without assistance… To be exact, Shane would only shoot his gun in their direction from time to time just to ensure that Roan would be able to keep up against the Zombie Lord.

The Eclipse Wraith Colossus towered over even the Dragon. Even if Raze already used their enchanted token that boosted Roan's strength and power, the Dragon was still smaller. Nonetheless, it didn't matter for Roan with its tough scales and quick movements.

At this time, as the Eclipse Wraith failed to kill Roan for quite some time, it suddenly summoned shadow-like wraiths. To be exact, it felt as if they came out of the Zombie Lord's body!

Seeing this, Roan breathed a wave of thick flames!

The fire scorched the Zombie Lord's spectral flesh. But the creature regenerated instantly.

Thankfully, they knew that the Zombie Lords had incredible regeneration ability. However, it wasn't just that.

Soon, they saw that the Eclipse Wraith Zombie had started to make some unusual moves.

"It's phasing!" Raze shouted as she was the first to realize what was happening as she had already faced a similar ability before. "We need to lock it down!"

Layla, the telekinetic, acted after hearing this.

She focused her power, creating a forcefield around the Zombie Lord, disrupting its intangibility. She was actually unsure if it would work but luckily, it was enough that she was able to disrupt the Zombie Lord.

"Now, Roan!"

The dragon slammed into the Eclipse Wraith. He didn't use any fire breath or draconic roar but simply used his claws to tear through its chest!

The Zombie Lord screeched and its form started flickering—but it retaliated as it grabbed and slammed Roan to the ground.

The dragon roared in pain, but it was not enough to stop him.

With the Commanders weakened and the Zombie Lord momentarily pinned, Shane made his move.

"Now! All at once!"

Kain and Raze tore into the Hollow Giant, ripping it apart limb by limb! They used their incredibly sharp blades to do this!

Then, Otto and Sona unleashed a duo-elemental blast consisting of fire and ice, shattering the Dread Giant's armor.

Vernon then fired a final shot, blowing the Dread Titan's skull apart. Of course, they made sure deal find the Zombie Cores hidden within its body to ensure that the Zombie Commanders would be killed.

As the Hallow Giant was killed, it was Raze who was able to get the last hit.

Of course, even after receiving such rewards, none of them celebrated as the battle wasn't over just yet. The Zombie Lord was still alive and they had to kill it as quickly as possible.

After all, the other group may be running low on their resources already and require some assistance.

At this time, as Roan was fighting with everything it got, Shane noticed that something was about how the Zombie Lord was moving.

"SCATTER!" Shane roared as he noticed something off. He then activated his Veiled Step as he needed to come forward to protect his companions.

He knew for a fact that his defensive capabilities were one of the highest among the group.

Soon, his body almost flickered out of existence for a split second as he arrived at the very front and used his Aura Sentinel and Force Breaker!

When he activated these abilities, the Zombie Lord released a powerful shriek that disrupted everyone's movements.

Furthermore, the Zombie Lord's wraith summons started attacking them as well!

Kale, the former gladiator, was the first one to get back on his feet.

He was also wearing a Bio-Armor this time and it helped a lot. As a matter of fact, even without Shane's assistance, Kale would be capable of enduring the brunt of the blast.

However, the sudden attacks of numerous wraiths surprised him… He failed to immediately use a defensive stance since the wraiths moved silently…

Bang! Bang! Bang!

At this time, Vernon started using his explosive bullets to deal with the Wraiths even if he was still disoriented.

Nia, on the other hand, rushed to Kale's side and used her druid abilities to swiftly heal him. "I've got him!"

Its claw raked across Shane's back, sending him skidding across the stone. However, Shane was still wearing his Bio-Armor so he wasn't injured from that strike.

As a matter of fact, Shane deliberately, allowed himself to get hit to see whether he could continue receiving those attacks, so he could execute his plan better…

Then, Raze called out to Shane.

"Shane… Let Roan use his full strength first! Let's exhaust that Zombie's energy!"

She said this after seeing how Shane was pushed back.

Soon, Roan roared…

He unleashed a torrent of fire, but the Colossus phased through it, reappearing mid-air and slamming its fist into the dragon's skull.

Raze screamed as Roan crashed into a pillar and stones shattered around him.

This move may have hurt Roan but he had also injured the Zombie Lord!

Shane gritted his teeth as he held the Eon Edge tighter. "Fine. Let's see how you handle this."

He activated the Mistwalker Pendant, one of his Mythic Items. Soon, it started glowing and Shane immediately felt strengthened and ready to battle.

After taking a deep breath, Shane used his Phantasm Rush…

With this move, Shane's body split into three afterimages… It was so fast and his movements seemed like he was striking the Colossus from a different angle.

The Zombie Lord, on the other hand, didn't overthink. It didn't matter if it couldn't tell which was real as it attacked the nearest one!

However, Shane's true blade carved a gash across its chest as Shane was never in the afterimages!

"Take that…" Shane muttered as he confirmed that using the stronger radiation of the Eon Edge would disrupt the Zombie's healing abilities.

Indeed, this time, the wound didn't heal.

"It's working!" Layla shouted as she used her telekinesis to pin one of the Colossus's arms.

Shenlong didn't hesitate.

The monk somersaulted into the air… Then his palm slammed into the Colossus's spine.
