Raze was currently resting on the outer wall of the Springriver Manor.

Her armored boots were stained with dirt and blood, and her hands rested on her hips as the wind tugged gently at her crimson hair.

"That Zar'Zhul escaped in the end and only dropped a few feathers… It's a pity…" Raze wryly smiled as he recalled how the Flying Zombie Lord managed to escape.

Still, Roan and the others were already tired when this Zombie Lord appeared.

It was a good thing that it was alone, since if there were probably an army of Flying Zombies with it, then it would be a disaster.

Roan, her juvenile flame-dragon companion, had already reverted into a tattoo coiled around her right arm. He was now resting, recharging, and awaiting her next call.

For now, Raze turned her attention to the System Interface that unfurled in front of her eyes.

Raze blinked in surprise. "Wait… an Armored Wyvern Nest? What is this for?" Raze muttered for now, she decided to continue checking the other notifications.

"Nice rewards…" Raze nodded as she looked at the rewards from the system. They were incredible.

Furthermore, she noticed the notification about Roan's progress!

Raze clenched her gauntleted fist as the last of the rewards was listed.

She exhaled slowly.

"Skyfire Commander…" she muttered. "I'm getting closer."

She already had three Dragon Core Fragments, and this fragment wasn't for Roan but for her use. Just two more and she would finally become a Skyfire Commander!

Her arm tingled faintly as Roan's tattoo pulsed with a deep ember glow. It was as if the young dragon reacted to the term even in his dormant state.

Springriver Manor's wind shifted as the celebrations and repairs continued in the background.

Raze turned, already thinking of ways to strengthen the Manor's defenses, train the rookies, and prepare Roan for the next stage.

She grinned faintly. "Shane can have Rank 1. I'll settle for the skies."

Raze then viewed Clan's Rewards. She knew that they'd done well, so she should get decent rewards.

"Ohhh! Epic Talent Crystal!" Raze's eyes lit up. She already obtained Random Talent Scroll ( Common – Epic ) and now, the Clan had also rewarded her efforts.

While the Scroll could only give either Common, Uncommon, Rare, Exceptional, Master, or Epic Grade Talent, the Crystal had a guaranteed Epic Talent!

Seeing that there weren't any important things for her to do since almost everything was being handled by Mr. Wadsworth and the others, Raze decided to use the Crystal and see what kind of Talent she would get this time.

Opening her inventory, Raze stared at the two Talent Expansion Scrolls she had hoarded for months. These two Talent Expansion Scrolls weren't easy to obtain since the Reputation Store was quite stingy about them.

It was also quite impossible to see it in the Marketplace being sold since there was a huge tax on it.

Raze then exhaled slowly as she no longer hesitated. "Time to take the next step."

With a thought, she activated the first Talent Expansion Scroll.

Raze nodded. "Good… Now for the real deal."

Indeed, Raze already had three Talents. Now, with the use of the five Expansion Scrolls, she could finally experience what it feels like to have many Talents!

From her inventory, she retrieved the two Epic Talent Crystals earned through the Clan Rewards. They sparkled like crystallized stardust, warm to the touch, and she could feel the power they contain from within.

She held one in each hand.

"Let's see what fate has in store…"

Raze activated them one after the other.

Raze's eyes widened.

"A combat-based flame talent… This fits perfectly."

She could already feel the heat surging in her limbs, and her bond with Roan even started resonating stronger than ever. She liked this skill, though it was a pity that she could only use it at 80% of her health.

Then the next crystal activated.

Raze's heart skipped.

"Ha… I guess this one's made for a Vice Clan Leader." She couldn't help but chuckle after seeing this.

With the addition of the Flameheart Valkyrie and now Strong Leader, her battlefield role had solidified…

She was already imagining leading a charge with Roan flying overhead, her flaming wings trailing behind her, while her aura boosted dozens of allies against their enemies.

Raze's smirk returned.

"I wonder what Talents Shane got this time." Raze mused as she even believed that Shane obtained a Legendary Talent instead.

With the upgrades now secured, she turned her attention to another item in her inventory.

She held up the Random Talent Scroll (Common – Epic), briefly considering using it… Then shook her head.

"I don't want to use it, but might as well turn it into resources."

She listed it in the Clan Market, setting a hefty price. Anyway, if it wasn't sold, she could sell it to the public Marketplace.

She wanted to greet their leader and ask if he had obtained Legendary Talent Crystal. But as she realized that he actually went to the Medical Bay as soon as he arrived, she decided not to disturb him for now...

Still, she also changed her plan. Instead of resting, she visited the Super Soldiers working to repair the walls and decided to lend a hand.
