Global Game: I, the Necromancer, am the scourge

Chapter 352: Sucked into the Secret Realm, Ghost Town!_2

Moreover, the level hadn't reached the peak of the Fourth Order, all being below Level 90.

Such ghosts, given Zi Liyuan's current state, he could handle them, though it would require a bit of effort.

Leading a hundred skeleton bosses with packs on their backs, Zi Liyuan didn't rush to find those five bosses; instead, he began strolling through the streets of the ghost town.

He discovered that the ghosts here had stalls set up and were hawking all sorts of things, including some resources.

Approaching the nearest stall, he glanced over and took in everything for sale.

They were all small items, accessories of sorts, but seeing them made the corner of Lord Zi's eye twitch.

[A Grey Finger Bone: A middle finger knocked off from some decaying skeleton. PS: Maybe you can make a crude gesture of ridicule?]

[A Grey Leg Bone: A leg bone knocked off from some decaying skeleton. PS: Calcium loss is severe, evident osteoporosis, maybe it can be ground into powder for a rich bone soup?]

[A Grey Skull: A skull knocked off from some decaying skeleton. PS: Lift up your cranial cap, take a look at the rotting bean curd seller?]

...

What the heck!

You must specialize in digging up other people's decaying corpses, right?

Don't you have a single normal item for sale?

Lord Zi was truly impressed with this Level 1 ghostly vendor.

Under the gaze of the vendor, who reluctantly wiped tears from the corner of his mouth, Lord Zi silently left the stall and looked towards the next one.

Compared to the just-met Level 1 ghostly vendor, this one was a rank stronger, having reached Level 15.

This was a butcher ghost, and his stall was full of skeletons from various animals.

About a dozen different animal skeletons, most still in good condition.

"Yo, it's rare for a necromancer to visit. These are top-notch wild beast skeletons, still fresh and perfect for spellcasting material to summon beast skeletons. Want to get one?"

The butcher ghost was obviously not as timid as the previous vendor; upon seeing Lord Zi approach his stall, he immediately started pitching his wares.

He even pulled out a bear skeleton from under the counter, gently patting the massive and ferocious bear skull, smiling amiably as he spoke.

[A Bear Skeleton (Green): A complete elite giant bear skeleton, can be used as spellcasting material, to revive it into a loyal Elite Skeleton Bear. PS: Bear warrior, let out a mighty bear roar, oh, skeletons can't make a sound, never mind then.]

The bone was good, but unfortunately, Lord Zi wasn't interested. Yet...

"How does one purchase this?"

He was unclear about how transactions worked in the ancient town and took this as an opportunity to find out, right?

"Nether Crystals, Ghost Beads, or resources of equivalent value, treasures, anything like that works."

The butcher ghost "honesty" laughed, with his mouth splitting too wide, revealing all his sharp teeth, giving off a somewhat fierce look.

Lord Zi nodded understandingly.

Nether Crystals, that stuff, you collect from killing undead creatures, with a certain chance of dropping, just like the Crystal Cores dropped after slaying living beings, used for charging energy in the Lord's Mansion.

Having just cleared out the graves surrounding the Secret Realm, killing thousands of ghosts, Lord Zi naturally had plenty on hand.

Ghost Beads, on the other hand, are dropped by undead bosses, with each boss generally dropping some, but the exact amount depended on luck.

Considering the undead bosses Lord Zi had killed, the least had dropped 5 beads, and the Headless Knight, the most generous, had dropped 10 beads.

As for Nether Crystals, Lord Zi didn't have any at the moment, as they were formed from condensed death energy, generally found in Nether Crystal veins.

Lord Zi had explored around his domain and had not discovered any Nether Crystal veins yet.

As for resources or treasures, he definitely wouldn't trade those.

Because the resources the butcher ghost wanted included crystals, gems, sulfur, and such rare materials.

Currently, he himself needed them for upgrades, so how could he possibly trade them to this ghost?

"How many Nether Crystals in exchange for this skeleton?"

An Elite Skeleton Bear, even if I don't use it myself, could be sold to others, right? Before LV10 at the Lord's Mansion, elite troops still have high value.

"Absolutely not expensive, 52 Ghost Crystals, you can take the whole lot, that's a genuine conscientious price,"

The Butcher Specter held a massive butcher's knife in his hand and patted his own chest with a "smack smack" forcefully.

Looking at it made Lord Zi twitch at the corner of his eyes again.

He was really afraid this guy would scatter his soul body, sending his soul to oblivion.

"Deal!"

The wealthy Lord Zi, not often known for haggling, no longer waited and turned to look at the other skeletons, immediately losing interest upon seeing they were all of white quality.

He called over a Skeleton BOSS, took a package from it, and from inside took out 52 Ghost Crystals and handed them over.

"All set! I'll get it packed up for you right now!"

The Butcher Specter smiled broadly, quickly pulled out a sack, stuffed the enormous bear skeleton all into it, secured it with a rope, and placed the bag at the feet of the Skeleton BOSS.

"Necromancer, I have news for you, Old Wang at the slaughterhouse just got a complete carcass of a Second Order rare Shadow Leopard BOSS yesterday,"

The Butcher Specter, pleased with the Necromancer's swift deal, immediately disclosed the information and casually pointed Lord Zi in the right direction.

"Great news, for that, you're rewarded!"

Zi Liyuan smiled slightly, casually flipped three Ghost Crystals onto the stall, and then moved on to the next one.

A Second Order rare BOSS carcass wasn't something Lord Zi would concern himself with, so he wasn't in a hurry at all.

That sort of thing, if he could get his hands on it, good; if not, it didn't matter.

As he walked the streets and browsed the items at the stalls, he bought anything of value with Ghost Crystals and casually gathered information from the stall-running ghosts.

Overall, there had been no danger so far.

The ghosts he encountered on the street were very restrained, and although some drooled at the sight of him, they only dared to look and crave but didn't dare approach.

Who could blame them? After all, Lord Zi not only rode atop a Third Order hero BOSS Undead Stone Horse, but he also had a large entourage of First Order peak Skeleton BOSSes behind him.

Those little ghosts, with hardly any past First Order, would they just be courting death if they tried anything?

Even the ghost creatures trained for battle, possessing First Order strength, simply glanced at Lord Zi and his Skeleton BOSS posse and moved on.

After wandering for two hours and basically covering the whole trading area of the Ghost Town, the gains were modest at best.

Mostly, he acquired common resources; the little ghosts didn't have much valuable stuff, though there were some dealing in mineral resources, albeit in not too large quantities.

Mineral resources, Lord Zi bought it all. Wood and stone materials, though, he didn't bother with; he didn't lack those.

The west side, the slaughterhouse.

Once done with the shopping area, Lord Zi, along with his large entourage, headed to the slaughterhouse.

From the little ghosts, he had heard quite a bit of news: the slaughterhouse specifically purchased bounty from the mercenaries that went out hunting, so it was stocked with plenty of skeletal materials.

Upon the arrival of the Necromancer, the ghost in charge of the slaughterhouse greeted Lord Zi with a beaming welcome.

Perhaps because of frequently dealing with death-associated professions, the ghost running the slaughterhouse invited Zi Liyuan into a small meeting room and immediately handed him a list.

"Esteemed Necromancer, all the complete skeletal materials currently available at the slaughterhouse are listed here. Take your pick, and the prices are negotiable,"

Lord Zi looked at the professionally handled list without saying a word, but he started to browse the descriptions on the list.

Eighty percent were of common quality skeletal materials, but each was precisely labeled according to their Order, and some even specified the species.

Nineteen percent were elite quality skeletal materials; the majority were First Order with a small number of Second Order, a couple of Third Order, but no Fourth Order.

The remaining one percent were rare quality skeletal materials, including the skeletal remains of that Shadow Leopard BOSS among them.

Rare quality skeletal materials had prices that varied from 100 to 150 Ghost Crystals for First Order, 150 to 200 for Second Order, and 200 to 300 for Third Order, again with no Fourth Order skeletons.

Of course, the skeletal materials from BOSS creatures were a bit more expensive compared to the standard ones.
