Chapter 404: The Undead Army Descends, Castle Layout Defense
Using "Heart of the Lord" to relocate territories, only the Lord's Mansion could be moved, all other buildings had to be abandoned.
Of course, if relocating voluntarily, it was possible to dismantle all buildings and recover some of the materials used during their construction.
However, it would require transporting them remotely from the original site to the new domain.
"No problem, we will absolutely obey your orders as long as you need!"
As long as the Level 10 Lord's Mansion remained intact, abandoning the other buildings was acceptable.
After all, after becoming a Lord in the Sea of Realms, the major expense in resource consumption was in upgrading the Lord's Mansion.
Other buildings, even their construction and subsequent upgrades, only used so many resources.
The only regret was that some Lords owned one or several special buildings, and upon dismantling these, the blueprints for the special buildings might not necessarily be recoverable.
"Very good, here are 21 'Heart of the Lords.' I give you 12 hours to manage the affairs of your current domain, after which you will relocate the Lord's Mansion outside this castle and surround it with walls."
Only by completely controlling Authority Town could the entirety of Area No. 10086 be controlled.
But Zi Liyuan did not want to spread his forces too thin—doing so might dilute his strength and lead to a situation where he couldn't focus on everything, potentially being defeated by the Alien Lords one by one.
Therefore, he planned to consolidate the Blue Star Lords within Area No. 10086, relocating all those willing to follow him outside of Authority Town.
Only by doing this could he concentrate their power and collaboratively exploit all kinds of resources within the region.
As for those Blue Star Lords unwilling to follow him, either they leave Area No. 10086 on their own or become ghosts under his blade!
Zi Liyuan had no intention of offering them a third option!
What neutrality?
For a ruler, there's no such thing as neutrality—they are either useful or they are enemies.
And to Zi Liyuan, enemies in his dictionary were only good when completely eradicated!
Watching Zi Liyuan casually toss 21 "Hearts of the Lord" onto the conference table, the Lords present looked as if they'd seen a ghost, their faces filled with disbelief.

"Heart of the Lord" was well-known to those present, some even had one or two quietly lying in their Spatial Columns.
But to casually throw out 21, that was unheard of—not just a demonstration of wealth, but outright domineering!
"The affairs of the territory can be resolved quickly, but we request that My Lord dispatch a team to help transport various resources and subjects from our territories."
The value of any building within a territory, aside from the Lord's Mansion, was not worth a single "Heart of the Lord."
At the same time, these Lords knew this was yet another test.
Holding a "Heart of the Lord" in hand didn't necessarily mean they had to relocate to this castle—they could also go to any coordinate in New World No. 99.
However, the Lords present did not have powerful backers in the Sea of Realms and even if escaping with the Lord's Mansion, had no chance of rising amidst this civil war of the Human Race.
From the beginning, these Lords thought about affiliating with a Blue Star Human Race power, ideally one of the Four Ancient Empires royal families.
Sadly, they simply weren't eligible to engage with such superpowers.
After weighing their options, Zi Liyuan emerged as their best candidate to affiliate with.
Having made up their minds, they naturally wanted to present their credentials, so they were willing to hand over all resources within their territories, assemble their accumulated forces, willing to become Zi Liyuan's enforcers.
Zi Liyuan ordering their Lord's Mansion relocated to the outskirts of Authority Town indicated his intent for them to guard the castle, right?
At this critical moment, potentially facing wild beasts besieging the city, it was a markedly dangerous place but also their slim chance to gain Zi Liyuan's trust!
One by one, the Lords stepped forward, each took a "Heart of the Lord," bowed with clasped hands towards Zi Liyuan, then left the Council Hall.
Their movements were quick, swiftly exiting the city and heading to their respective territories.
"Master, aren't you afraid they'll just take the stuff and run?"
Dilys rested her chin on Zi Liyuan's shoulder, breathed softly into his ear and spoke softly.
"A thousand gold for a horse's bones. If I want to capture the position of Grand Lord, recruiting Blue Star Lords is indispensable; this is an opportunity, but I wonder how many are truly resolved."
Area No. 10086 was so vast that there were too many resource points for him to develop on his own.
Only by recruiting plenty of Blue Star Lords, pulling together their strength to develop resources, could he quickly raise the level of the Lord's Mansion.
The higher the level, the more materials needed, and unless constantly seizing them from other Lords, it would take ages to gather them on his own.
But by recruiting a host of Lords to serve him, a massive amount of resources could be quickly amassed.
The only concern was their loyalty.
For now, it was manageable; Blue Star Lords facing Alien Lords represented a clash of races, and traitors were rare.
But once the Alien Lords were dealt with, a civil war among the Blue Star Lords would be a significant issue.
At that point, the emergence of spies and traitors was highly probable.
Thus, these recruited Blue Star Lords could be temporarily trusted but not completely—after all, one must guard against others.
As these Blue Star Lords departed, Zi Liyuan also left the Council Hall.
In front of the central hall of this castle was a vast square, ideally located for him to summon a spatial gate.
