Chapter 25: Sothoryos 25
Sothoryos XX
"I can't believe the Elders allowed you to go through a coming-of-age ceremony! I think you deserve it though!!" Dunalinn wrapped her arm around Jon's neck in a hug, holding a mug of mead in her other hand.
"It was wonderful," Jon commented as he sipped some mead from his own mug.
Dunalinn stared at him for a few moments before starting to laugh.
"Fool, you must drink more! This is the celebration for that ceremony!!" Dunalinn shouted, causing the rest of the elves in the room to shout in approval. All of the fellow rangers and sun or moon guards had decided to celebrate after hearing about Jon's ceremony.
"He's right, Jaehaerys Dreamspring," Jarod approached, saying Jon's name with a bit of laughter. "Besides, you can walk now! Come on!! Dance!!"
"Hahaha! True! What a dance!!" Dunalinn agreed. Shouts of dancing came soon as everyone began to dance to the music. Jon raised his eyebrows slightly and looked to the front where Saynna sat. She smiled a little before nodding. They both moved to the side of the table, joined hands, and began to dance merrily.
"Who knew that the human we found would become an honorary elf?"
"I don't regret anything," Jon replied, smiling tightly. And it was true. He didn't regret anything. Not about accepting the system, not about traveling risking his life across most of Sothoryos. There were no regrets, as it was how he was able to meet all of his friends: Jarod, Dunalinn, Saynna, Naisha, Mardrock, Caelyb, Lorela, Ysiel. All of them, even the rest of the elders and the people she met in Alfheim, even the children of the forest, who taught her how to use her gifts.
"Better not. I would have hit you," Saynna commented with a playful smile. Her blue eyes sparkled with amusement before she leaned a little closer, almost making her breasts press against Jon's chest.
"Besides, you'll have a part of us with you now. So you won't forget your time here."
"Even if I hadn't gone through the ceremony, I wouldn't have forgotten anything. Every second has been precious. These memories are etched with fire in my heart."
"Mmm... good words," she said, twirling as the music continued. Others danced near them, while others sang or drank. They all knew that the time of a friend, a companion, was about to end with them. So, they were having as much fun as possible.
"Hey..." Dunalinn whispered beside Jarod, who raised an eyebrow and looked at him.
"Yeah?"
"Do you think those two will end up in a bed, completely naked?"
Jardo choked a little on his drink before smiling, "I don't know, my friend. You know Jon is still a human. And their ages are too far apart."
"Bah, what does age matter? They're both mature people. Besides, ever since Jon started as a ranger, Saynna gives him glances."
"Isn't it normal when a woman is interested in a man? I mean, we have plenty of time, so we're not too blunt or direct about our emotions, especially the ones that relate to romance."
"Do you want to give them a push?"
"How would you do that?" Jarod asked with a bit of curiosity. He watched as Dunalinn took Jon's mug and smiled brightly.
"You can be quite devious, my friend. But, well, I'm in. Maybe Jon has a memory he can never forget from Alfheim!"
"And he can help his stamina with the drink. Dwarves could kill him, or he'd end up with a dwarf woman in his bed without realizing it. Nothing against them, but...".
"Say no more!" Jarod raised his voice a little and they both started doing certain things with Jon's drink. Some herbs, more mead, and a small portion of magic were involved. In the end, they both ended up laughing like brats when Jon came back and took a sip of their drink.
"What are you two laughing at?"
"More drink!!" the friends shouted, completely ignoring Jon.
. . .
"Hahahaha! Just look at you, you look like a maiden!" Saynna laughed as Jon covered his face as if he had committed a crime, or a crime had been committed against him, he didn't even know exactly. The effect of the alcohol and perhaps other things had worn off. Still, he still didn't know how to react properly.
And while he didn't regret sleeping with such a beautiful woman, he felt that it wasn't quite right.
"I... I'm sorry, Saynna. We..." Jon sighed as he looked at her, trying not to look down at her perky, beautiful white breasts.
"Does it bother you that much?"
"No!... I mean, doesn't it bother you?"
Saynna snorted a little and said, "We're old enough to know what happened, and what led us to this," she shifted, letting the white sheets slide down the rest of her body. Then, she moved to stand on top of Jon and look to the side, seeing that it wasn't quite dawn yet.
Jon felt himself harden as he looked at Saynna's beautiful body. Her wide hips, her soft shoulders, and her slender neck.
"It seems we're of the same mind, Jon. Or is the little one just not able to take it anymore?"
Jon's nostrils flared and he took a deep breath before he picked Saynna up and threw her onto the bed, with him on top of her.
"I can be patient, but I won't let you make fun of me."
"Oh, what are you going to do then? Punish me?"
Jon let out a growl. And it wasn't a normal one. Saynna was surprised to hear that, and even more surprised to see Jon's possessiveness in his eyes.
"Don't underestimate too much, Saynna. It won't work out for you," Jon leaned in close to almost touching the elf's soft lips.
"...I seem to recall that I was the one who took the initiative in almost everything."
Jon growled once more before kissing her hard. Saynna moaned as a hand squeezed her ass as she felt Jon enter her. Her long legs moved and caught Jon's back tightly as her nails scratched a little at Jon's shoulders. His lips parted from her mouth, moving to her neck where he whispered, "I hope you have time, because I don't plan on letting go, Saynna."
"There's plenty, plenty of time, Jon," she whispered before moaning louder as Jon thrust in hard.
. . .
Caelyb's left eye twitched slightly as he tried to read a little.
"Those damn brats!" she cried out as she heard another moan. Jon's room was several feet down the hall from Caelyb's garden. The walls were thick, as were the doors. But, still, he could hear them moaning and groaning as they joined together and sank into carnal pleasures.
"This old man will definitely teach them a lesson!" Caelyb shouted before inhaling sharply and exhaling shortly after, trying to calm himself down.
"Mmm... although, the very fact that Jon has to leave, is punishment enough. Brandon did mention that the women of Westeros, were not as beautiful as those of our race. And let's not talk too much about dwarven women. Oops, that brat is going to have it rough from now on. He'll be left with all the desire to see that girl again. Buahahaha!!"
"Maybe I should play a good prank on them?"
"Don't do such a thing, Caelyb," a voice came from the side. The old man looked over and saw a forest boy emerge from one of the trees in his garden.
"Summerlocks, what are you doing here? Don't tell me, are you a secret pervert who wants to watch two young men doing their thing?"
Summerlocks stared at him for a few moments before sighing.
"You haven't changed at all in all this time, you old bastard."
"Hey!"
"I still remember when you filled me with oil before throwing a sack of feathers at me."
"Ah... I was very young at the time. Don't hold a grudge against me, goldilocks."
"I don't have goldilocks. And you were over a thousand years old at the time, old man."
"Aren't you an old man too? Even older than me."
Summerlocks was about to say something, but he held back and sighed again.
"Talking to you is beating around the bush, always. I've come to tell you something important."
"Really? What could be so important that the elder of the forest spirits would come to my young self?"
"Those two will meet again years later. You have to prepare for that moment."
Caelyb's countenance immediately changed. His eyes gleamed coldly as he looked at the forest boy.
"Is it bad?"
"For those two? No, not at all. It's the dark, icy bastard's doing. His minions will come, definitely, and they'll start in the north, where Brandon built his wall."
"The Other..." Caelyb growled in disgust. "Will they be a problem for Jaehaerys?"
"Yes, a little. Jon's victory has a higher chance from now on. But do you really want to leave a small chance for him to lose? Not me, Caelyb. I want that abomination gone forever, never to return."
"And what about the idiot of fire and shadows?"
Summerlocks let out an amused laugh before saying, "Leave it to Jon. I've seen what will happen. And it was so satisfying, I've replayed it a hundred times in my mind."
"That good?" Caelyb asked with a raised eyebrow.
"The fire will consume his faith."
"Ohohoho! That's so fitting! Yes, it's definitely that good."
They both stopped when they heard a loud groan. Summerlocks shifted a little uncomfortably, while Caelyb's left eye throbbed again.
"Erm... I think it's time for me to go. I'll leave you in your quarters, Caelyb."
"You're a piece of shit, you know that?"
"Not as much as you, old friend, not as much as you."
