Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1262 Part 2: Paul and Stella's reaction

Intelligence Tower:

Not long after the Supreme Wizards left, the Dark Shadows sent a message to Head Howard and Elder Stella of the Intelligence Tower.

Stella was at the Intelligence Tower when she heard the news. She immediately left the Tower and came to the dorm building.

Her expression was grave. She didn't know who dared to attack the student inside the campus, but when she saw the building, she felt as though a thunderclap had struck her head.

She knew it was the building where Vincent Carey stayed. No one had a target on their back except him.

She immediately tried to contact Vincent Carey, but the connection was not established. The next thing she did was to call Paul Lin.

Paul Lin immediately picked up the call. When he heard that Vincent Carey's dorm building had been attacked, he was shocked to the core.

There was no time left for him to think. He immediately left the Special Mage Department and arrived at the dorm building.

"What happened?" he asked her.

Stella told him what the Guardians had shared with her. Paul Lin was shocked to the core.

"Impossible!"

"A level-9 Wizard was here," he uttered in shock.

She remained silent. Both had one thing running through their minds: a level-9 Wizard was supposed to be their council elder.

How could such a person cause an incident here? He was confused. But when he saw the room that had been destroyed, his pupils shrank. He knew information about Vincent Carey; he knew that was the kid's room.

Swoosh!

He disappeared from the spot and appeared above the destroyed room. The other dorm residents were put to sleep under a magic spell.

It was the work of the Guardians. No students knew that such a thing had happened.

Paul Lin's eyes swept across the room. His eyes gleamed with determination. He was now sure about it: someone had attacked Vincent Carey's room.

Swoosh!

"What happened?"

"Did you find anything?"

Stella appeared beside him. She was looking down at the room as well.

"It's Vincent Carey's room," Paul Lin said in a grave tone.

Stella was again shocked to the core. Her heart was in turmoil. She knew but didn't want to believe it earlier.

Now that Paul Lin had confirmed it, she could tell that someone from the Perry Family had attacked. Paul Lin had already shared with her about the Rhys Perry incident.

"Call him right now?"

"I think he is alive. The Guardian confirmed that there was no one here at the time of the attack," Stella said.

Phew!

Hearing that, he heaved a sigh of relief.

"That kid, when is he going to stop causing problems?" Paul Lin said before trying to call him.

But he could not get any connection.

Stella frowned. She thought it was good that Vincent Carey was not here. If he had been here, he would have died from the level-9 coercion.

"Looks like we failed to provide him with good security. That's why he is taking care of his own safety," Stella said.

Paul Lin stopped calling and thought of something important.

"It was all because of me. When he reported about Rhys Perry, I was scared. I told him not to go outside. But I didn't expect the Perry Family to be desperate."

"They were willing to take action inside the campus. It must be Aaron Perry. He was their family member and council elder," Paul Lin said.

"Let's go to the teleportation platform," she said.

Swoosh!

Then they disappeared from the spot and went to the teleportation platform.

The two teleportation guards were alarmed.

"Council elders," they both greeted.

"Did Aaron Perry, the council elder, use the platform a few minutes ago?" she asked.

Paul Lin was observing their reactions.

The guards looked at each other's faces. Then they told them what had happened. Afterward, they asked about Vincent Carey.

A few minutes later, Stella and Paul Lin appeared again near the dorm building.

"It was him, Aaron Perry."

"If he had been one step late, he would have been spotted by the Guardians," Paul Lin said in a cold tone.

On the other hand, Stella accessed information on her digital device.

"Aaron Perry has been coming and going between the campus and the Perry Family. He didn't go anywhere else," Stella said after putting away her device.

"There is no need to guess. It must be Rhys Perry. He must have forced him to do it," Paul Lin said in an icy tone.

"We need Head Howard to return. Aaron Perry must have gone back to the Perry Family. The former head, Callen, is a Magic Lord."

"If we go there rashly, it won't help us," Stella said.

Sigh!

A sigh escaped from Paul Lin's mouth.

"But what's with the kid? Where is he right now?" Paul Lin asked.

"He didn't use the platform a few minutes ago; he must be hiding somewhere on campus," Stella sighed.

"Let's return. If we stay around here, it would cause suspicion. I think that kid will return tomorrow morning," Stella said.

"Well, I believe that as well. That kid is smart," Paul Lin replied.

Swoosh!

Then they both left the place.

...

Perry Family:

Aaron Perry entered Rhys's residence. Thinking about what he had done, he still had lingering fear in his heart.

Rhys Perry sat in the main chair and looked at Aaron Perry.

"I want that kid dead ASAP!"

"But you have failed to complete my mission," Rhys said.

Hearing that, Aaron felt bad. He thought he had escaped from the previous threat, but the madman was still pointing at him.

"Lord, I have a good plan. Why don't we use this poison on that kid?" Aaron asked.

Rhys raised his eyebrows in surprise.

"How did you plan to do that?"

"Not only do I want him dead, I want his corpse along with his belongings," Rhys said to him.

He couldn't reveal the matter of the black token to anyone.

"We can bribe aristocratic and neutral students. As long as someone inflicts Vincent Carey with the same poison, he would die for sure," Aaron Perry said.

Rhys Perry looked deep into his eyes. He was considering using the poison. Now that trash was suggesting the same thing, his eyes flashed with disdain.
