Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1275: Underground prison

True Elements Society:

Elder Stella, Paul Lin, Ross, and a few guardians appeared before them. Blood drained from Aaron Perry's and Milo's faces. They knew they were f@cked. No one could save them from here on out.

Rhys Perry was shocked to the core. Then he immediately controlled his thoughts before trying to leave.

"Rhys Perry, where are you going?"

"To think you have come here to kill our student. Forget about leaving this place," Paul Lin shouted.

Hearing that, Aaron Perry and Milo shuddered. Both of them looked at each other before fleeing in separate directions.

"Show yourselves!"

"Guardians!" Elder Stella called out.

In just a few seconds, a few more shadows chased after Aaron Perry and Milo. Unfortunately for them, the teleportation platform was shut down. They couldn't use it.

Elder Ross gave chase as well. He was heading in the direction of Aaron Perry. The Perry family had been the root cause of many problems. It could be said they were weakening the organization from the inside.

He didn't care about Milo. It was just a matter of time before they were captured by the guardians.

Rhys Perry's expression turned ugly. He looked at Stella and Paul Lin.

"Let me go. You don't want to anger my father. My father is a Magic Lord. He can easily tear this place down," Rhys Perry threatened.

Since things had come down to this, he was not going to pretend.

"Magic Lord!"

"He is not here. So don't think about leaving," Paul Lin snorted.

Boom!

Rhys Perry didn't hold back. He immediately attacked using a magic spell. A blue lightning bolt shot towards Stella and Paul Lin.

When the blue lightning appeared, it immediately brought a half-step supreme pressure with it.

Stella and Paul Lin's expressions changed drastically. They were strong level-9 wizards, but they were nowhere near a half-step supreme.

Pfff!

When the blue lightning reached them, they both tried to block it. But their magic spell casting broke halfway before the lightning struck their bodies.

Stella and Paul Lin's bodies were sent flying before crashing into the ground. The power of a half-supreme was many times stronger than a level-9 wizard due to the power of the rules.

Supreme Wizard Phylia, who was watching them secretly, decided to show up. She was pissed off.

After injuring those two, Rhys Perry sneered. He decided to leave.

Swoosh!

When he had just taken a few steps, he found that the entire space was blocked.

"Who?" Rhys Perry's expression changed.

Stella and Paul Lin, who were on the ground, saw this scene. Their eyes filled with surprise. An old lady had locked Rhys Perry from moving.

"Ha... Ha... Ha...," Paul Lin laughed out loud.

"Supreme Wizard Phylia has returned," he said.

Stella's eyes were filled with surprise. The next second, a sigh of relief escaped her lips. Both of them were truly shocked after sensing Rhys Perry's strength.

A decade ago, he was close to becoming a Supreme Wizard. Then he had suffered a fatal injury. Everyone had thought his wizarding path was over.

Now, his half-step supreme strength proved he had recovered from the injuries.

On the other hand, Rhys Perry saw the old woman appearing in front of him. He was shocked. He knew the names of the Supremes here.

One of them was behind the Special Mage Department.

"Starlight Supreme," Rhys Perry uttered.

"Oh, you little brat. You know my name," Phylia said in a joking tone.

Rhys Perry's eyes flashed with anger. He thought it was impossible to escape now.

"Little brat, don't move. I'm going to imprison you. Judgment can be made after Head Howard's return." After saying that, Phylia quickly placed a ban on him.

Then she dismissed her pressure. The pressure was gone. Rhys Perry landed on the ground, but his face was contorted. He knew the terror of this old lady.

In some ways, she was like a stumbling block for the Aristocratic Families. He didn't want to provoke her.

"Good, I'm going to take you to the prison cell now," she said before carrying him to the prison cell.

Stella and Paul Lin stood before her, following from behind. There were many prison cells in the True Elements Society. Low-threat criminals were handled by the Law and Order Department.

Forbidden Prison Cell:

Deep inside the organization, there was a prison that was one of the forbidden areas of the True Elements Society.

Swoosh!

Old lady Phylia arrived carrying Rhys Perry. There was a huge well in the middle of this barren ground. She appeared above the well and went inside.

There were many restrictions active inside, but she deactivated all of them with her authority.

Stella and Paul Lin arrived at the place shortly afterward. They looked at each other before going inside the well. Fortunately, old lady Phylia deactivated the restrictions beforehand.

They were going deeper and deeper. After going down over 100ft, they touched down on the ground. Mana was scarce down here. It was the infamous underground prison of the True Elements Society.

If someone stayed here too long, their magic core would be polluted. It was only a matter of time before their magic levels dropped.

The two of them then started walking forward. There were prison cells built on both sides of the path. Both of them had been here before, but it was many years ago.

"This place still creeps me out," Paul Lin commented.

Stella didn't speak. She continued walking. As they crossed the cells, broken skeletons could be seen in each of the cells. They had died hundreds of years ago.

Argh!

A loud scream sounded all of a sudden.

Swoosh!

Hearing that, both of them rushed towards the end of the path. In the blink of an eye, they arrived at the site. They saw something unimaginable.

Rhys Perry was locked up inside. Metallic chains were tied to both his hands and legs.

Those metallic chains were special chains. They could block mana. Rhys Perry already had a ban on him. These special chains added an extra layer of security.

Old lady Phylia walked out of the prison and looked at them.

"You guys are miserable," she said with a smile.

"We greet Supreme Wizard Phylia!"

"We greet Supreme Wizard Phylia!"

Stella and Paul Lin greeted her.

"I heard everything from the little guy Vincent. To think he was under such threat. I don't understand why you are not taking any actions."

"I know the dorm building incident has concrete evidence. Then why didn't you capture Council Elder Aaron?" she said in a solemn tone.

Stella and Paul Lin's eyes flashed with guilt.

"Elder Phylia, the former Perry family head, is a Magic Lord. Our organization's Head is currently outside. There is no one to fight against him."

"So we decided to wait and watch," Paul Lin said.

"We made a plan to capture them with the help of the guardians," Stella said.

"Sigh!"

"It's good that I asked Vincent Carey to visit my palace. If he had gone out there, he would have been killed by Rhys Perry," Phylia said in a cold tone.

Hearing that, both of them shuddered. Rhys Perry's strength was something they had miscalculated. Fortunately, nothing bad happened to Vincent Carey.

Otherwise, no one would have survived the actions of the Mage Union.

"It's my fault. Elder Paul Lin reminded me of the dangers, but I took the risk," Stella admitted her fault. Like Paul Lin, she was scared of the Magic Lord as well.

Old lady Phylia saw through their thoughts.

"Sigh!"

She sighed once again and said, "I know you guys are afraid of the Magic Lord. The fear of the Magic Lord has made you unable to think."

Hearing that, Stella and Paul Lin wore solemn expressions on their faces.

"A Magic Lord is an existence above a Supreme Wizard. They won't die from normal magic. They have a lifespan of more than a thousand years. They can easily destroy a Wizard Country."

"But our True Elements Society is not without a backup. Head Howard is a Magic Lord."

"But there are other Magic Lords in the organization, but they have gone outside the country to gain experience and chance."

"If there is a do-or-die emergency, we can always call them. They will definitely return to help us. Instead, you guys did something serious," Old lady Phylia said in a serious tone.

Stella and Paul Lin looked at each other. They didn't realize what she was talking about.

On the other hand, Rhys Perry was unconscious. He had been put to sleep by the old lady. That's why she was teaching them a lesson.

"Elder, what do you mean by that?" Paul Lin asked.

Stella looked into her eyes as well.

"You guys didn't take Vincent Carey's well-being into account. He was under this constant threat. Even after his report, you guys wanted him to wait for Head Howard to return."

"Do you think he trusts the organization anymore?"

"I know he is being sponsored by the Mage Union. Sooner or later, he will join them. But that doesn't mean he is not a true member of the True Elements Society."

"Your actions have created a distrust," she said in a serious tone.
