Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1287 Part 2: Finding solutions!

From MC's Perspective:

Inside the Gregor Mansion, I didn't get any useful information from the Zero Puppet. After deactivating it, I'm watching the outside scenes on the control mirror.

Seeing that the parasitic black smog is gone. I'm feeling relieved.

But for some reason, I have decided to stay and continue the journey the next morning. Who knows if the magical creature will come back? It could be disastrous for me.

...

True Elements Society:

Time passed.

When the classes were over, the students left their respective departments and returned to their dorm building.

In the Special Mage Department, the Wizards noticed that Vincent Carey hadn't appeared today. Earlier, he used to show his face and then disappear.

But right now, he was nowhere to be seen. The students thought that he would come tomorrow.

Meanwhile,

Elder Paul Lin was busy with other work. He totally forgot about Vincent Carey. Ever since he learned that Supreme Wizard Phylia ended her retreat, he let go of his worries.

He knew Supreme Wizard Phylia would protect Vincent Carey. Vincent could go around the campus without any worry.

So he got busy with other matters.

Whereas Elder Stella, the Head of the Intelligence Tower, was busy collecting intelligence. They didn't know when the Perry Family would make a move.

The former Perry Family Head's son was imprisoned, along with one of their elders. Both of them were inside the organization.

She was worried about whether the Perry Family was aware of it or not. She had read the recent updates. The Perry Family had been staying quiet.

They were not allowing any visitors to enter their estate. Some of their visitors were from the Aristocratic Families, and even they were not allowed to enter.

Because of Charon Perry's sudden death, the Aristocratic Faction had stopped their activities inside the organization. They had become obedient for some reason.

But Stella knew that they were waiting for an opportunity to strike. As long as the Perry Family made a move, they would surely join hands with them.

She was so focused on this issue that she forgot about Vincent Carey as well. Otherwise, she was aware of Vincent Carey's day-to-day activities.

Meanwhile,

Not only these Council Elders were careless; even the Supreme Wizard Phylia failed to pay attention to Vincent Carey. She thought Vincent Carey was attending classes daily.

So she had shifted her attention to other Magic Palace Masters who were on the side of the Aristocratic Faction. If there was any fight to happen, the Magic Palace Masters would play a crucial role.

She was investigating them secretly. If she learned that Vincent Carey was missing, she would probably blame herself.

Head office:

Head Howard was in his office. He had been staring at the Perry Family. Former Council Elder Milo was updating him with details from time to time.

But there was no actual movement from the Current Family Head, Cooper, and the former Family Head, Callen. Howard didn't know what they were up to.

He felt glad that Supreme Wizard Phylia had requested help from the passed-out wizards. The passed-out seniors were many hundreds of years older than him.

If they were alive, they would be Magic Lords as well. Before the True Elements Society's big showdown with the Perry Family, he was waiting for their arrival.

When it came to Vincent Carey, he hadn't thought anything about it. Like others, he assumed that Vincent Carey was in his class.

It's just that he didn't want to meet him before getting the Gravity Resources in his hands.

...

The Perry Family:

"Another day has gone to waste," Callen said in his heart.

He didn't dare to say this openly because Senior Caleb had gone to seek help from someone he knew. He didn't know when he would return.

In such circumstances, he didn't want to spoil anything. After seeing him use the magical creature, he became more afraid of him.

Who knows? Senior Caleb had left some measures to watch him. Old man Callen revealed a bitter smile on his face. He was truly on the back foot right now.

Only Senior Caleb could give him and his family a way out. If he got some confirmation or evidence, he would then act on the plan.

...

Forbidden Pindwood Forest:

The following day,

When it was daytime, I was ready to appear outside. But before that, I confirmed the situation outside through the control mirror.

Seeing that there was no trouble.

Swoosh!

I appeared outside, feeling the morning sunlight reach the place. I felt good, but I knew the place was equally dangerous.

I gritted my teeth and used the flight ability to go deeper.

As time passed, I came across no other magical creatures, which felt strange to me.

[Ding! A Wizard Skeleton is detected.]

[Host, stay away from the skeleton and don't touch it.]

The system warned me again, but my eyes flashed with surprise. I was looking for a way to learn about this location. If I could get any clues from the cops, it would be useful.

So I looked around before finding the skeleton under the tree. Seeing that, I immediately realized someone lost their final breath under the tree.

Swoosh!

I immediately sprinted towards the spot. When I arrived before it, I saw that the skeleton was in bad shape. It must be at least centuries old.

[Ding! Warning!]

[Don't touch the skeleton!]

The system reminded me again. Hearing that, my face turned solemn. If the system was warning me repeatedly, then something must be wrong with the skeleton.

I shifted my attention from the skeleton and started looking around the place. If I could find any clues, it would be good.

Not far from the skeleton, I saw a tattered old gray pouch. Looking at the magic pouch, I thought it must be related to the skeleton.

As I continued to observe it, I saw something. The design on the gray magic pouch looked familiar. Then I went forward to pick up the gray pouch before appearing inside the Gregor Mansion.

Boom!

A black smog shot from the tree before covering the skeleton. The next second, the skeleton disappeared into thin air.
