Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

From MC's Perspective:

Waiting room,

Garrett entered the waiting room. Upon seeing Vincent Carey, he said, "Wizard Seed Vincent, your opponent has come."

Hearing that, I stood up to enter the arena. Then I exited the office and walked into the open, vast ground. I saw Peter Doyle already standing on the platform.

Then I started walking towards the platform. The next second, I found numerous gazes on me. The gazes were filled with mixed reactions.

Countless people were looking at me with expectations. I bet many of them had placed a bet on me. Then I walked up to the platform and entered.

I stood opposite Peter Doyle and looked at him. This is the first time I'm seeing him face to face. He has brown hair and eyes. His skin tone is slightly tanned. He stands tall, over 6 feet in height.

He is wearing wizard clothes and a Wind Elemental Tower Mage Robe. Just as I'm observing him, he is observing me as well.

But I'm silently using the system function to probe his details.

The status panel appeared in front of my eyes with his information. My gaze immediately fell on his magic spells.

Then I saw something that caught me off guard.

"This guy has more than one kind of Wind Twister Spell," I said in my heart.

I don't know the effects of the others; I haven't seen their effects. Old Man Martin only showed me one type of the "Wind Twister Magic Spell."

Swoosh!

Shortly afterward, the Old Man referee arrived at the platform. Upon seeing the two participants, he asked, "Are you guys ready?"

Hearing that, both of us nodded our heads. Then I closed the status panel. I still trust my own magic spell. He won't have a chance to use the other magic spells.

"I'll tell you the rules. Magic artifacts and magic potions are not allowed to be used. If the other party accepts defeat, then the opponents should not continue with the attack," the Old Man said in a serious tone.

We both agreed to the rules.

The referee then nodded his head before activating the barrier. Then he stepped outside. The barrier began to cover the platform. In the blink of an eye, it had covered the whole duel platform.

On the other hand, everyone's gaze was set on the platform. Susan Park, Wilfred Cox, and Jason Nicholson were watching the duel platform.

Upon seeing both of them, the three wizard seeds thought that both opponents were confident.

Susan Park said, "Peter Doyle looks confident. He must have a trump card."

"Of course, the Doyle Family and the Wind Elemental Tower must have analyzed the previous duel footage of Vincent Carey," Wilfred Cox said.

But he knew the trump card in his heart. He was the one who told Vincent Carey about the trump card. It's called the "Wind Twister."

A terrific wind elemental magic spell that can destroy any terrain.

Jason Nicholson said, "I'm still thinking that Vincent Carey has yet to show his full strength before everyone."

Hearing that, Susan and Wilfred Cox agreed.

At the same time, the famous wizard family heads were watching with serious expressions.

"Kid, I have yet to forgive you for killing my family servant. I hope you can win this duel so that I can reduce my anger," Rick Nicholson said in his heart.

Compared to the previous duel, he had made a bet on Vincent Carey—with a lot of money, too.

On the other hand, Manager Lara was occupied because of the investigation matter. She had yet to arrive at the magic arena.

The Old Man referee got the signal from Manager Garrett. He received the green signal to start the duel.

Inside the platform, the outside noise completely stopped. I'm looking at Peter Doyle. Both of our eyes were locked.

"Start the duel!"

The next second, the old man's voice reached my ears.

"Gravity Field of Time Delay."

I cast the 5th stage of the magic spell, and that too with instant casting.

"Tornado Wind Twister."

On the other hand, Peter Doyle performed instant casting magic. The next second, a big magic circle appeared in front of him.

Quiet!

It was as if the whole world had become quiet. The two powerful magic spells became activated.

A powerful wind tornado dashed out of the magic circle.

On the other hand, a powerful gravitational force appeared out of nowhere and struck the wind tornado.

Boom!

A powerful explosion occurred the next second, as the wind tornado detonated on the spot.

The next second, a deafening noise echoed across the arena.

The shock force started to spread across the platform. Under the time delay, the opponent's magic seemed to slow down. This all happened within seconds.

The shock force struck my body. Fortunately, my physique was strong. I was able to block it.

At the same time, the gravitational pressure struck Peter Doyle's body.

"Aaaahhh!"

Peter Doyle let out a scream. He was caught off guard by the attack. Under the time delay, the pressure of the gravity magic increased manyfold.

The pressure faced by Peter Doyle was unimaginable. He knelt down on one knee. His bones were breaking apart. If the gravitational pressure continued, his whole body could break apart.

His wind elemental mana core might get damaged. This all happened within seconds.

Gasp!

Everyone exclaimed in surprise among the crowd, especially the wizards from the Doyle Family and Wind Elemental Tower, who were taken aback.

Some of the supporters were shocked to the core. They were witnessing the repeated scenes of the previous challenge duel.

Tom Doyle stood up from his seat with a dreadful expression on his face. He didn't know whether he was witnessing the same scenes or not.

He had knelt down on the platform just like Peter Doyle that day. He knew that from here on, the pressure would only increase. You couldn't even lift under the terrific pressure.

His heart gripped with fear. He thought Peter's magic attack would take care of Vincent Carey. But instead, the wind tornado was destroyed in the first place.

The Doyle Family wizards were shocked to the core.
