Great Villain: Starting by Humiliating the Son of the Heavenly Fate

Chapter 422: Massacre Midair

In the blink of an eye, Zhong Yushan threw out both hands. Four strange orbs—gray, orange, blue, and red—appeared out of nowhere and burst apart.

"Yin and Yang, Water and Fire! Annihilation Dao!"

Four powerful waves of Dao force surged into the air. They split into two pairs and crashed into each other, their opposing elements twisting together to form something far more dangerous—the Annihilation Dao!

"What the—?!" Wu Jiaxun and the others froze, eyes wide with panic. They scrambled to block and dodge, throwing everything they had into defense.

But Zhong Yushan had timed it perfectly. Wu Jiaxun couldn't get away.

"Die!!" Blood spilled from Zhong Yushan's mouth as he shouted, his face twisted with deadly intent.

"Then let's see who dies first!" Wu Jiaxun roared back, trapped and out of options, fighting with everything he had left.

...

Now's the time! Lu Yi's eyes lit up in the courtyard as he sent out a command. System, merge my human and demon bloodlines!

Ding!

[Perfect fusion complete. You've obtained the Primordial Chaos-level bloodline: Saint Demon Heart.]

As the message appeared, Lu Yi felt his sealed demon bloodline break free and merge seamlessly with his human side.

In that moment, it was like all the junk in his body turned into pure energy. Every cell felt sharper, cleaner—like it had been remade. Power surged through him.

Boom!!

A blast of force exploded from his body—strong enough to match the Early-stage Nirvana Peering realm.

Thanks to the fusion, Lu Yi's combat power shot up—leaping past an entire major realm in one go.

To put it in perspective, even half a minor realm within the Third Step of the Cultivation Path is a big deal. Jumping a whole major realm? That's the kind of gap most people never cross in their lifetime.

But Lu Yi did it—just like that. His sudden burst of power left everyone watching completely stunned.

As jaws dropped and eyes went wide, the Luminous Heavenly Fury Blade appeared in Lu Yi's hand. A moment later, he was ready to launch himself into the fight.

His target: Zhong Yushan—who'd be completely spent after taking down Wu Jiaxun.

But just as the moment came, Jiang Chen—watching from high above—let out a quiet chuckle. Heh, time to steal the kill.

In a flash, he shifted into his dragon-human hybrid form and activated the Void Tribulation Soulring. Forming a sword sign with both hands, he pointed downward.

"Die."

A violent spatial force exploded inside Wu Jiaxun's body. In the next second, he was torn into hundreds of glowing fragments, each one floating upward like stardust.

What?! Someone else killed him? Zhong Yushan froze, eyes wide. There's another powerhouse here—someone with terrifying spatial attacks. But who? An enemy? An ally?

He looked up in shock.

There, floating above it all, was a young man in flowing robes, sleeves fluttering in the wind. Dragon horns curved from his head as he calmly took in the battlefield below.

It was Jiang Chen!

Everyone else was just as stunned as Zhong Yushan.

"What the hell is that?!" someone blurted out. "He's Nirvana Cleansing realm—and has dragon blood?!"

"No way… There's actually a dragon-blooded cultivator on Prosperous Stone Immortal Star?!"

Whether they were fighting or just watching from afar, all eyes snapped to Jiang Chen. Wide-eyed, pupils shrinking, they stared up at him like their brains had stopped working.

...

In the courtyard, Lu Yi stood frozen, clutching the Luminous Heavenly Fury Blade. A chill ran through him. Damn it… There was someone even stronger hiding this whole time, just watching!

But after a moment of hesitation, he pushed forward with his plan and shot toward Zhong Yushan.

He couldn't tell if Jiang Chen was friend or foe—but odds were, it wasn't looking good. Lu Yi was a human-demon hybrid, after all. People like him weren't exactly welcomed by the world.

So he made a quick call: if he wanted even a slim chance at surviving, he had to take Zhong Yushan out, grab everything he had, level up the system, and unlock more fusion attempts.

That was the only way forward.

Whoosh!

Lu Yi shot forward in a flash of black and gold, closing in on the worn-out Zhong Yushan. In just a split second, the Luminous Heavenly Fury Blade was ready to take his head.

But—

BANG!

Zhong Yushan suddenly burst apart, his body scattering into countless points of light that flew straight into Jiang Chen's hand.

Swoosh!

Lu Yi's blade sliced through empty air.

"Damn it!" His eyes narrowed as he swept the area with his divine sense, frantically searching for Zhong Yushan's storage artifact.

But it was no use. Everything—Zhong Yushan's and Wu Jiaxun's alike—had already been taken by Jiang Chen.

Crap. That just blew my whole plan. Lu Yi's face twisted as he quickly shifted his focus to the few Nirvana Peering realm cultivators still barely hanging on.

As for Jiang Chen, Lu Yi didn't even think about going after him. Way too risky. Still, his guard dropped just a bit.

After all, Jiang Chen had taken out people from both the Compassionate Sword Immortal Palace and the Purple Crest Immortal Sect—but hadn't made a move on him, a human-demon hybrid. At least not yet.

What Lu Yi didn't know was that if Jiang Chen weren't wary of disrupting the Heavenly Fate, he would've been the first target.

Right then, the five surviving cultivators from both factions panicked. Fear written all over their faces, they scattered, trying to get as far away as possible.

"Not so fast!" Lu Yi shot forward, chasing one of them down.

His plan was simple: kill if he could, run if he couldn't.

He wasn't about to bet his life on a dragon-blooded wildcard who hadn't picked a side.

...

Watching it all unfold, Jiang Chen smiled faintly as his body surged with the overwhelming force of the Gravity Dao.

In that instant, he became like a living black hole. A crushing gravitational pull exploded outward, locking onto Lu Yi and the five remaining cultivators.

"What?! No!"

Panic swept through both the Compassionate Sword Immortal Palace and Purple Crest Immortal Sect survivors. A few even started begging.

"Please! We surrender!"

You've gotta be kidding me—he's pulling me in too?! Lu Yi's heart dropped. His pulse thundered in his ears.

In a blink, Jiang Chen reeled them all in like they were tied to the same leash.

Astral Pivot Heavenly Attraction, Myriad Changes Hidden Void Sword Technique!

Without hesitation, he struck. Space twisted. Gravity collapsed inward. The five cultivators didn't even have time to scream.

BOOM!

They exploded mid-air—gory bursts of light, like some grotesque fireworks show.

Death Calamity Dark Star Moon Dao Embryo, Wordless Heavenly Jade!

With a single thought, Jiang Chen drained a portion of the five powerhouses' cultivation, along with all their qi and blood—not to mention their storage artifacts.

The crowd watching from afar went pale. Some dropped to their knees, too shaken to stand.

"They're all dead! Every last one of them!" someone shouted, eyes wide with disbelief.

"Seven Nirvana Peering realm cultivators—two Peak-stage, four Late-stage, one Mid-stage. Gone, just like that!"

"Who is that dragon-blooded guy?! He just wiped out people from both the Compassionate Sword Immortal Palace and the Purple Crest Immortal Sect!"

"Has he lost his mind?! Isn't he scared of the consequences?"

"He's a total lunatic—bloodthirsty and fearless. If he snaps, he could probably kill a hundred million of us before breakfast!"

Panic spread like wildfire. No one wanted to stick around and find out what Jiang Chen would do next. In seconds, the sky was full of fleeing cultivators, running as fast as they could.
