Chapter 560: Storm X

Chapter 560: Storm X

{What delicious curl! He sent the ball swimming into the back of the net!}

{Uventus have six!}

{What a rout!} the commentator shouted like the lid on his mouth had burst open after months of suppression.

While the commentator was shouting like there was no tomorrow, Jason did a small bow, blew a kiss to the crowd and started walking to the sidelines while clapping his hands as if giving an encore to his performance.

His teammates patted his back and some hugged him as he began to walk to the sidelines for his substitution.

Jason’s actions reminded Ronaldo that he was also to be substituted and he also began walking to the sidelines while clapping his hands.

{It’s rare for a player to score a hat-trick in a game, but in this game, Uventus have two hat-trick heroes and they are coming off now}

A wave of applause came from around the stadium from the fans and surprisingly, even the Oporto fans were clapping.

Their team had been utterly trashed, but even they had to accept that the Uventus performance in the game was a sight to see and leading the Uventus attacking line was these two fellows.

Ronaldo’s reputation didn’t need any blowing up, but Jason was also especially impressive, managing to score a hat trick and create two other goals for Ronaldo.

Another important factor that was despite what was going on between him and the club, Jason was still a player of Oporto and his utter trashing of their team didn’t change that, hence the Oporto fans didn’t hesitate to join in applauding Jason as he walked off the field.

Jason was subbed off for Arthur and Morata came on for Ronaldo.

The players high-fived and then Ronaldo and Jason walked off the field while Morata and Arthur ran onto the field.

Pirlo patted Jason on the back and high-fived Ronaldo as they walked past him and walked over to the bench, and at this time, the applause still hadn’t stopped.

On the Oporto side, Evanilson was dressed up and ready to come on as a substitute and Conceicao the assistant referee was quickly informed about the substitution and the board went up.

Mylo’s number 20 was in red and Evanilson’s number 19 was in green.

Mylo’s face twisted as he saw the referee holding up his jersey number in red, but he didn’t have any choice but to start walking towards the sidelines.

As Mylo walked towards the sidelines, the applause of the fans disappeared and the only noise that remained was the Uventus fans cheering their players goals, but suddenly a loud booing noise rose from somewhere in the stadium leaving people in shock as the noise seemed to come from the side allocated to the Oporto fans.

In football, more often than not, whenever a team lost a game, there was always a player who would end up becoming the scapegoat for the fans to take out their anger and right now, Mylo fitted every part of the bill and his goal in the first half did nothing to change that.

He had been utterly wasteful with the ball in the second half and been overly aggressive which had also ended up being completely useless as well, not to mention his atrocious dive that had given the team nothing but an additional yellow card.

Coupled with the fact that he was the reason for Jason playing for Uventus and leading the opposition team to utterly trash them, some of the Oporto fans could no longer hold in their anger towards the guy.

As soon as that one booing shout came out, it was like a dam broke and the whole stadium erupted in boos as Mylo walked towards the sidelines.

Even the Uventus team had joined the Oporto fans to boo Mylo as quite a few of them didn’t like Mylo either, while some were simply just joining in on the fun.

Mylo’s face became uglier as he walked angrily towards the sidelines, ignoring Evanilson’s attempt for high five.

He was too angry for that, but when he looked over at the Uventus side and saw how Jason was looking at him, he almost lost it and instantly kicked away a water bottle that was nearby.

Jason could only intensify his efforts to not burst out in laughter as he the hand that was over his mouth pressed harder to keep the bubbling laughter from within sealed.

Fortunately for Mylo, the bottle that he kicked missed everyone, but that only gave some sharp-tongued fans more things to talk about.

“He can’t even hit a person in a stadium full of people, how did this fraud even score in the first place?”

Despite the noise in the stadium, Mylo heard these words clearly and his eyes turned red, but before he could create an ugly scene, some of the Oporto staff, directed him to the bench a bit forcefully.

{What was that all about!}

{The fans don’t seem to be happy with this man and after his mostly wasteful performance, it is clear to see why} the commentator couldn’t hear everything the fans said to Mylo so he didn’t know the full scenario and could only say what he knew.

While the commentator was still speaking about that matter, the game had resumed once again with both teams playing without much drive.

Unless they could somehow score seven goals, the Oporto team couldn’t get anything out of the game.

The opposite stood for the Uventus team. Unless they somehow managed to concede seven goals within the less than thirty minutes that was left of the game, there was no way they would lose so they had no reason to play desperately.

In this manner, the clock began to run down, but in the eightieth minute of the game, Viera managed to pick out Evanilson in the penalty box and the striker headed the ball powerfully past Buffon.

{Powerful header and it’s gone in!}

{Oporto have three and though it is little more than a consolation goal at this stage, the Oporto fans are happy that they have something to shout about!}

{There aren’t many celebrations going on, but the player’s joy is there for all to see!} the commentator spoke as the Oporto players quickly jogged back to their half of the field and waited for the Uventus team to kick off the game.

To them, scoring one goal didn’t make a difference, but they couldn’t also celebrate the goal wildly as they were behind by way too many goals.

The Uventus team did not waste any time either and weren’t too shocked by conceding one goal.

The match soon resumed again, but perhaps because of just scoring a goal, the Oporto team had quite a bit of momentum and pushed the Uventus team back into their own half, forcing them to spend most of their time defending and the Uventus team couldn’t be bothered to force their way forward either.

In the eighty-fifth minute, Viera found Oliveira with a pass into the penalty box. Holding off De Ligt as best as he could, Oliveira pushed hard to turn around and took a shot at goal, but Buffon was up to the challenge and quickly got in the way of the ball and punched it away.

{Oporto have a corner!}

{They are pushing forward hard here, but it’s a little too late for that. The game is surely beyond them, but the fans wouldn’t mind a few more consolation goals and the Oporto team seems to want to grant them that!}

Diaz stood over the corner and at the referee’s whistle, he sent it flying into Uventus’ 18-yard box.

Pepe rose above all the Uventus players and got a head to the ball and sent it flying at the Uventus goal, but once again, Buffon jumped in the way of the shot, blocking the ball from going in, but before he could grab onto it, Evanilson who has nearby poked the loose ball with the tip of his foot, sending it into the back of the net.

{GOAL!!!}

{Evanilson!}

{On the bench a little while ago and already he has hit a quickfire double!}

{What a game we have here!}

{A ten-goal thriller!}

{Surely, the fans and the neutrals have gotten their neutrals have gotten their money’s worth!} The commentator almost orgasmed from the excitement he was feeling from watching a tenth goal go in.

The Oporto fans were also shouting loudly as they were happy that the difference between them and their opponents had been shortened even further.

At least this way, they would be able to argue that they had put up a good fight against their opponents who had proved to be a lot to handle.

“We should have started Evanilson instead of that Mylo guy. The absolute sh*t show would have probably missed scoring that one like the other ones he wasted,” one Oporto fan scoffed out loudly and the other fans could not say anything to counter his words.

The game quickly continued once again without the Oporto side doing too much celebrating and the clock once again began running down with Oporto resuming the pressure they had visited on their opponents.

Time ran down quickly and it was soon injury time.

The Uventus team finally escaped the pressure and attempted a counterattack, but the ball was quickly stolen and their counter attack was countered by the Oporto team.

Diaz who received the ball with a long pass darted down the left while Evanilson darted towards the middle from the right.

When Diaz was almost at the left side of the penalty box, he sent a powerful low cross across the field in the direction of Evanilson.

Evanilson’s energy levels allowed him to beat the tired Chiellini and get to the ball first, hitting it in at goal and then falling right after.
