Legion-1 said, "Relax. Getting a cosmic source is all but certain at this point. As for Legion-0, he will be very easy to use."

As for Legion, their Supreme laws are already limitless. They don't need Cosmic energy to strengthen it. But they need Cosmic energy to make full use of their power.

Theoretically, they grow into infinity. That is possible as they have an Origin of infinity now. But they still need energy to use their power.

As they grow stronger, they will need more and more energy to be able to use their power. If their power reaches infinity, they will need an infinite amount of energy to use their power. That is just too much energy for them to use.

Currently, they have to produce the energy they need, as they can't get it from the void universe anymore. This energy is Chaos Sparks. The only way to produce it is to make their world conducive to living things.

They use void energy and transform it into mana for the living things to grow. When these living things die, they will leave behind their potential for change in their inner world, which is Chaos Spark.

They don't have any living thing in their world and can't have living things ever since they used the abyss within Legion-3 as their world, so they can't use that method to refine Chaos Sparks.

However, they have a better alternative, which is refining Chaos Energy to produce Chaos Sparks.

This alternative is better than the situation of most world gods. Even the fact that they can't have worlds still makes their situation better than almost every world god.

They had to sacrifice the potential to build inner worlds because chaos energy won't work with order, so they can't build stable worlds.

In fact, chaos energy is a poison to world gods. But they don't mind the sacrifice, since all they care about is power.

However, no matter how much chaos energy they produce, it won't be infinite. When they use it, they will have less.

If they have one million units of chaos energy, even if they use just one unit of it, they won't have one million units anymore. What they will have is 999,999 units of chaos energy.

They will need to produce another unit of chaos energy to restore the total amount to one million units. This is why cosmic energy is better than chaos energy.

Cosmic energy can't be lost. If they use one unit of it, they will continue to have that one unit. If they have one million units of it and use all of it, they will still have that one million units.

So they can never run out of Cosmic energy. It can only increase in quantity because of its infinite attribute.

Of course, for this infinite attribute of Cosmic energy to be retained, it must be matched with infinite potential. Only someone with infinite potential can also produce it. After all, if energy is the ability to do work, then only those with infinite potential energy can produce infinite energy.

With cosmic energy, the limit of how much of it they can hold is directly proportional to the size of their existence. So if their existence can expand infinitely, then they can surely have an infinite amount of cosmic energy. Thus they will always be able to use their power at its fullest if they have Cosmic energy.

This is why cosmic energy is very important to limitless entities. With it, they won't run out of energy at any point in time and will always be able to fight at their maximum capacity.

That and the fact that they don't need anything external like chaos energy or void energy to produce cosmic energy makes it indispensable to them.
