"Ahhhhhh!!!" The woman who was hit screamed, her scream was so loud that the entire village flinched even the kids who were locked in their homes jumped in fright.

Yu Dong looked down at the woman who was rubbing her back and gave a scornful laugh. She said to her, "Did you think I was lying when I said that his hits hurt?"

The women all shivered as they realized that not only this woman but even her husband was a demon incarnate, after getting hit they had no choice but to drink the poison. As the woman did not give them an option, it was either drinking the poison or getting beaten by the Demon of hell behind them. And neither of the options was pretty in their eyes. In the end, they chose the less merciless option.

Once the poison was inside their bodies, Yu Dong sneered at them. She said, "This is a special poison, one that ties your bodies with mine. If something happens to me or you go against my will, you will die a painful and suffocating death. It will be better if you listen to me without even thinking of betraying me. Because if you do then you will have no idea what I can do to you."

As she finished speaking, she gave the rogues a taste of what might happen to them if they refused to listen to her. The pain that shot through their bodies was enough to make the rogues completely tame. They immediately kowtowed and begged for mercy only then did Yu Dong let them off.

"Get up! I need you to work with Madam Rong and fix this gate for me, if you dare to slack, I will reap your lives for dinner!"

The rogues immediately answered, "We got it, Madam. We will not dare to slack, we will fix this door by evening." They would be big fools if they dared to go against this woman!

Yu Dong snorted as she turned to look at Rong Yi and said to her, "Make sure that they do their job. I need the door to be fixed by the evening or else we will be subjected to more attacks."

Now was the time which brought the worst out of the people. Even though Yu Dong was giving out free food and water to as many refugees as possible, some did not think that it was enough.

They wanted more comforts which led to all sorts of schemes to fill their heads. This was not the first time their village was attacked.

Rong Yi understood the importance of the door and said to Yu Dong, "Don't worry Madam, the iron gates and fences are almost ready.

I will use the ready ones and then leave the rest to make it up for the rest of the fence." Rong Yi wanted to make the iron fences completely before starting fixing them but it seemed to her that it was better to continue fixing them every day than wait as the people outside were causing trouble.

"Good, use the Iron Gate. Make sure that no one comes inside the village from now on," Yu Dong nodded. She then walked back inside the village, as she needed to deal with the budget for her children's birth ceremony.

Once she went back, the villagers heaved a sigh of relief. They were thankful that there was someone like Yu Dong in the village or else they would have lost their lands as well as their houses!

That would be simply tragic!

Madam Cui looked at Yu Dong with a complicated gaze and turned to look at her daughters. She said to them, "Do everything that you want but make sure not to offend that woman." A woman who could kill someone without batting an eye was not someone whom they could offend.

Her daughters looked at their mother as if she was joking with them. Offend Yu Dong? They would rather eat their own faeces! That woman beheaded someone at a speed that they did not even know when and how it happened. What was more, she did not even bat an eye when beheading someone!

Such a dangerous woman, who would dare to make an enemy out of her?

"Mother, you must be joking. I wouldn't even dare to pick up a fight with Madam Yu in my dream," Eldest Miss Cui said to her mother. Yu Dong walked away while being drenched in the blood of those women whom she killed and she did not look even the slightest bit bothered!

Was a woman like her someone whom they could fight with? As if!

Her sisters agreed with her.

Seeing this, Madam Cui sighed in relief. She knew that her daughters were a bit impulsive sometimes as they had connections to the Imperial Family. Fortunately, they were still smart.

"It's good if you understand," Madam Cui said to her daughters.

While Yu Dong left a strong impression on the villagers, she had no idea some villagers from Big Mountain Village were watching the spectacle. They immediately returned to the village and retold everything that they saw.

According to their version, Yu Dong was like a Grim Reaper who killed the rogues while laughing. She looked terrifying and dangerous. Once the villagers of the Big Mountain Village found out about this, all sorts of schemes that were being cooked in the heads of those who wanted to make a profit from the pickle factory were immediately doused.
