The sweetness and the subtle sourness with the delectable scent of oranges and citrus was enough to make Qiao Nan feel satisfied and to top it all, these delights were wrapped in ice which made his entire body cool down.

Even though he was used to drinking cooled tea in the carriage on his way to the mall, by the time he climbed the three floors and crossed to the fourth one where the meat and vegetables were sold, Qiao Nan felt his body heat up.

He often thought that it would be great if he could take a sip of something cool to calm his nerves as he could not bear summers at all. Who would have thought that Yu Dong would release something that he desired so soon?

Madam Mo's eyes were also wide with surprise as she did not expect something so good to be sold at the mall. With these ice candies being sold at the mall, she wouldn't have to worry about working in the office.

He clapped his hands to attract the attention of the customers as he announced, "From tomorrow onwards, the customers can go to the Big River Village and pick strawberries for two taels per person. Of course, the amount of strawberries is not decided. For an hour you can, not only pick strawberries but also eat them."

His announcement was like a bolt out of the blue.

Xie Yating who had eaten the strawberries grown by the Yu family, immediately turned to her mother and said to her, "Mother, I want to pick strawberries!" Her eyes were shining as she spoke to her mother who stood next to Xie Yating.

Geng Gengxin's lips twitched. She knew that there was no way she could refuse Xie Yating —— she turned to look at Xie Xieren who was standing next to her and looking at her with the same gaze as Xie Yating.

It seemed like both father and daughter had already decided their plans for tomorrow.

"Very well, I will take an hour off from the office," Geng Gengxin did not have the liberty to take time off as she had already taken a few days off.

Like Xie Yating many other children wanted to pick strawberries, one of the kids being Old Master Fu's granddaughter who was now looking at her grandfather with shiny eyes.

"You tell me," Old Master Fu said to his eldest daughter. "Your daughter first dragged me to the mall and now she is dragging me to the village that is an hour away from the town. She is tormenting my old bones!"
