I loved your voice like it held a song

only I could hear when days felt wrong.

I clung to your words like prayer and wine,

obsessed with every breath of mine.

The way you'd talk, the way you'd stare,

your sleepy laugh, your messy hair.

Your touch felt like the world stood still—

I loved you more than I ever will.

But you...

You loved someone else all along,

while I mistook silence for a song.

I was a moment, you were my sky—

you chose her, and I don't know why.

Now you're smiling like nothing broke,

laughing with her in the warmth you spoke.

And I just watch from far away,

smiling too… like I'm okay.

"At least he's happy," I softly say,

even if it's not with me today.

But late at night when no one sees,

I cry in silence — it was only me.
