"What are you looking at…?" Mandy asked, as she removed the sunshades from her face.

"…are you looking for something?" She again, her voice sounding so cold and strict.

Ken stood while he heard all these. He didn't even give her a response, as he was wondering why she was asking him such a question.

'Why is she talking like that?' Ken thought. '…it doesn't matter, I'm just gonna play it cool.'

Ken stood strong, while he stared at Mandy. He didn't give her any expression that he felt intimidated. And this made Mandy a bit uneasy.

"I was just looking for you." Ken proclaimed, while he walked past her without looking her in the eye.

"Where are you going…?!" Mandy exclaimed, as Ken continued to walk away.

Ken didn't turn back and continued walking. He gave her a cold shoulder.

'She spoke to me in the text like we were good friends, and now she's talking with that tone?' Ken felt a bit upset. Although, it wasn't all that.

'Let me see what she's going to do.' With a smirk on his face Ken thought, while continued walking.

'He's not answering.' Mandy thought. She stood beside her vehicle, while staring at Ken as he goes.

'Did he take offense to the way I spoke to him?' Mandy began to wonder if Ken was upset with her, based on her words earlier.

'He shouldn't be.'

"Ken!" Mandy called out, however he didn't give her a response, and then the thought hit her.

'He's definitely upset with me.'

Knowing that she didn't want to fuck this date up, Mandy quickly opened her vehicle, took out her bag, locked the vehicle and ran after Ken.

Mandy saw Ken at a far distance. 'He has already gone that far?' She thought. At this moment, while she began running, Mandy saw Ken as he turned to his left.

The place was a bit far, and in the dress she was wearing, she knew she was definitely going to sweat in them.

However, that didn't stop her, as she picked up the pace.

Meanwhile, Ken had already entered his left, and there was a small alley. He's goal was to wait and see if she was going to chase after him, or she was just going to stay and wait for him to come back since she had her pride.

Ken stood there for a while, as he waited for Mandy to show up. However, as he saw that she wasn't going to come, he decided to leave.

"Looks like her pride stopped her after all." Ken uttered, while he shook his head.

Just as Ken was about to leave the alley, there was a collision and at that moment…

Ken's lips and Mandy's lips kissed each other mistakenly and Immediately, Ken moved backwards, and then stared at Mandy's face.

"Oh I am very sorry…" He apologized.

"No don't be…." Mandy uttered.

Her face was all red and blushing. As Ken was staring at her, he saw how her face had already turned red.

Mandy held her lips, with her fingers while she rubbed them in a very sexy, but shyly manner.

"…it was my fault for not watching where I was going." Mandy mumbled.

At this moment, Ken stood upright. He could see that Mandy wasn't upset about the kiss. Instead, it made her shy, displaying her childish self.

Her intimidating expression has already disappeared and what was left, was a lady who looked like she had just confused her feelings, to her high school crush.

The moment became awkward.

Mandy stood there with her face all red and sweaty. Her breath was heavy, showing that she had just ran a mile.

She stood tall and didn't bend, as she was trying to not too show her exhaustion. However, it didn't take too long for her to bend down and release all of it.

huff' huff' huff'

Mandy inhaled and exhaled continuously, while trying to catch her breath, as she was on the ground and then Ken walked towards her. By the time he could do anything, Mandy raised her head and asked.

"Did I pass…?"

Ken was puzzled as he heard this. Mandy's face was so sweaty, and the facial expression was that of one who was determined.

"What do you mean?" Ken asked still puzzled.

At this point, he assisted Mandy in getting back on her feet.

"I mean in what just happened now" Mandy responded.

However, Ken didn't really understand what she was actually talking about, and so he replied to her question.

"Ye… you passed."

And then Mandy smiled. She looked like a completely different person.

Based on the question that Mandy asked, she was referring to the fact that they kissed. And so the question she asked, meant if she did well in the kiss.

However, Ken didn't know that this was what she meant. He thought that she was asking the question, which was about how she ran here to meet him.

And since he had been thinking, to know if she was going to come meet him or not, he thought that was what she was asking about. And so, prompted him to respond.

They were not on the same page.

After all that, the both walked back to Mandy's vehicle, and there she took a bit of rest.

"So where are we going to go from here…" Ken asked, while facing Mandy.

She was seated in the back seat of the vehicle, while Ken stood at her front. While they were there, Mandy brought out a bottle of water and drank.

Afterwards, she offered it to Ken. However, he declined.

"There is somewhere I want to go first." Mandy responded, as she closed the bottle and placed it back into her bag.

"And where would that be?" Ken asked. He was curious to know where she could be going to before their date.

"To the mall. I need to get some clothes there." Mandy responded, as she got down from the back seat, closed the door and headed to the driver's seat.

"Alright." Ken responded, while he opened the door beside the driver's seat.

Mandy entered the vehicle, and so did Ken. And afterwards, she started the vehicle and they went to the mall.

After a while, they got to the mall. And then, they came down from the vehicle.

As they entered, Mandy immediately went to the place where the ladies clothes were been sold, while Ken walked around the place.

"Hmm… this is a good place to shop." Ken mumbled. "…I could bring the girls for shopping here."

This mall was basically for females. And the only male things that could be seen here, was clothes for babies.

Ken walked round the place and scanned through it. He watch how the people sold their products, and how the staffs interacted with the customers.

Although, just when he was about to go and see a different section of product, a female voice called his name.

"Ken…?"

As Ken turned his back, the person he saw was so unexpected. He couldn't believe himself as he saw this person, and then the person spoke again.

"It's me… Amanda."
