Chapter 128: Harem Schedule Loading…

Blue Moon Restaurant, Gold Plaza

Scott sat back in his chair, legs casually crossed, one hand on the table while the other held the original copy of the contract he'd signed with BlueForce earlier. His sharp eyes darted across the document, and his lips curled into a faint smirk as he tilted his head.

"Ten million dollars a year for a guy like me with zero modeling experience…"

He muttered under his breath, shaking his head.

"Kinda feels like a desperate move for a brand as big as BlueForce, doesn't it? Almost makes me nervous…"

He tapped the edge of the paper against the table, glancing up with a faint frown as his thoughts shifted.

Speaking of things that made him nervous…

Across from him, Bella leaned slightly forward as her tempting blue eyes locked onto him with a gaze so heavy it could've melted steel. Her fork twirled absentmindedly in her spaghetti, but her focus never wavered.

The way she stared—it was a look most men would sell their souls for, yet to Scott, it carried the same unnerving intensity of being ogled by a creep. A gorgeous, stunningly seductive creep, but a creep nonetheless.

『She looks like a pervert… the "I could slurp your cock in one go" sort of pervert. Yeeeesh…』

Scott blinked a few times, shifting uncomfortably.

Bella's smile only deepened as her cherry-red lips curved like a predator who'd cornered its prey.

"You haven't touched your food…"

She said softly.

Her voice was like silk.

It was no wonder most men would touch themselves to her music.

"Do you want me to feed you?"

Scott's eyebrows shot up. "Uhh… I didn't ask—"

Bella chuckled and interrupted him.

Her tempting tone came out as playful but teasing.

"Relax, I wasn't planning to. After all…"

Her eyes sparkled like a mischievous, little succubus as she rested her chin on her hand.

"It should be the other way around, shouldn't it?"

Scott narrowed his eyes as his expression flattened.

"Right… Yeah, no thanks. I didn't even want to be here. I'm just trying not to be rude."

Bella rolled her eyes and gracefully forked a bite of spaghetti as she ate with the elegance of someone born to be in the spotlight.

"There's no need to be so… childish~ come on, Scott. You and I both know you'd give anything to have lunch with America's favorite woman."

Scott leaned back, one brow arched as he nodded slowly.

"Uh-huh…"

He dragged out the syllables with heavy sarcasm, his tone so dry it could've started a fire.

Outside, a large crowd of onlookers had gathered near the glass doors of the restaurant, their faces pressed eagerly against the glass. They watched intently, desperate to catch even a snippet of the conversation between the two.

Scott glanced at the spectators before quietly scanning the more than extravagant restaurant.

"You know, this place is uh… weirdly empty for how fancy it looks. Figured it'd be crawling with rich people by now, clogging the place with their posh laughs and fake accents."

Bella paused mid-bite and then giggled as a soft "tee-hee" escaping her lips. She dabbed at the corner of her mouth with a napkin before speaking.

"That's actually true."

She said sweetly, though there was a hint of something calculating behind her eyes.

Scott frowned slightly.

That line was supposed to put her off—to make her roll her eyes and shift her attention to those rich chaebol heirs who'd practically throw themselves at her feet.

Instead, she seemed… amused.

Bella leaned back in her chair, crossing her long, fair legs.

Her red dress hugged her figure in all the right places, and her seductive stare never wavered as she twirled her fork.

"You know why I find that so funny, my dear?"

She asked in a light, yet condescending tone.

Scott tilted his head, waiting for her to elaborate.

Bella wagged her fork playfully.

"Because there's a difference between being rich… and being above rich."

She smirked as she took another delicate bite of spaghetti in a slow and deliberate manner.

"A place like this is fine for rich people. But me? I'm above that. Why would I want to share a dining space with people beneath me? It's just so…"

She waved her hand dismissively.

"Silly."

Scott froze.

For a moment, there was only the clinking of Bella's fork against her plate.

Then, without a word, Scott stood from his chair.

"I think this is where I leave…"

Bella blinked, caught off guard.

"Wait, wait…" she said quickly, standing as well.

She adjusted her tight dress, her heels clicking softly against the floor as she moved closer.

"What do you mean you're leaving?"

Scott turned to face her, his expression calm but firm.

"If you're so high and mighty that you can't even eat in the same space as 'people beneath you' then maybe I should leave. Clearly, I don't have the required net worth to sit under the same roof as you, let alone the same table."

Bella's eyes widened as a genuine surprise flashed across her gorgeous face.

"Eh?"

Scott didn't wait for her to recover.

He picked up his contract, adjusted his jacket, and walked toward the exit without a backward glance.

The crowd outside erupted into chaos, snapping photos and recording videos as Scott pushed open the glass doors and disappeared into the plaza.

Bella stood frozen for a moment as her perfectly manicured fingers twitched slightly.

Then, slowly, a sly smile crept across her lips.

"Interesting…"

Bella returned to her seat with a huff, then crossed her legs dramatically as she tapped her manicured nails against the table. Her piercing blue eyes flickered toward where Scott had been sitting, and her lips pursed into a frustrated pout.

From the far corner of the lavish restaurant, her butler, Morgan, quietly observed the scene with a bemused expression. The silver-haired gentleman adjusted his pristine white gloves before stepping closer as his polished shoes clicked softly against the marble floor.

"Miss, what seems to be the matter?"

He asked politely, his voice steady and calm.

Bella looked up at Morgan.

Her eyes were wide with disbelief as if he'd just asked her the most absurd question in the world.

Then her gaze shifted toward the tinted glass wall, where the muffled cries of her fans still echoed faintly.

Finally, she glanced back toward the restaurant doors, where Scott's figure was shrinking in the distance.

『That guy… that nobody actually ignored me… li-, like I'm one of those poor, worthless ladies on the Internet that simp for him and make him look like he's worth anything! How dare him talk to me like that──?!』

Her lips parted, but for a moment, no words came out.

Then, as if the floodgates of her pride had burst, she scoffed loudly, crossing her arms.

"He… walked out on me…"

She spoke with a very annoyed voice.

Morgan blinked in surprise. "He did what?"

Bella stood abruptly, her hands slamming on the table as her face turned red with frustration.

"He walked out on me!"

She repeated, louder this time.

"Can you imagine, Morgan? The nerve of that man! Me! Me! An award-winning actress and musician with several platinum singles, millions of fans, and more money than half the people in this country combined!"

Morgan raised a hand to his chin, clearly intrigued but staying composed as Bella continued her tirade.

"Does he have any idea how much I make per minute? Or how much is in my bank account? Or—"

She paused dramatically, throwing her arms out.

"—how many assets I have under my name?!"

Her voice echoed across the empty restaurant as her chest puffed out like a furious peacock. Her cheeks flushed with anger, and if steam could've burst from her nostrils, it would have.

Morgan tilted his head slightly, his sharp eyes tried severely to hide his amusement.

"It certainly sounds… unprecedented, Miss Bella."

"Unprecedented?!"

Bella exclaimed as her arms flailed.

"It's unthinkable! Insulting! Absolutely—"

"Miss…"

Morgan interjected gently, holding up a single finger.

Bella froze mid-rant, watching as the butler calmly walked over to the large glass doors separating them from the crowd outside. Gently, he pressed a discreet button, and the glass instantly turned pitch-black, cutting off the fans' view.

Outside, chaos erupted as screams of frustration echoed through the plaza.

"Ahhh, no fair!"

One fan shouted.

"We deserve to know what's happening with our queen!"

Another banged on the glass. "Let us see!"

Ever unbothered, Morgan walked back to Bella with the grace of a man who had seen it all. He placed a gentle hand on her shoulder with a calm but kind expression.

"Miss Bella…"

Naturally, he spoke very softly.

"I understand why you feel insulted. Truly, I do. But… have you forgotten what I've told you about interacting with men you take an interest in?"

Bella's expression soured instantly, and she folded her arms, glaring at Morgan.

"Interest? Don't be ridiculous, Morgan! I don't like that poor dunderhead!"

Morgan raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Is that so?"

Bella scoffed, looking away.

"I just… I just want him to respect me, that's all! To do what I say! Is that too much to ask?"

Morgan chuckled quietly. "Is that really all, Miss Bella?"

"Yes! Obviously!"

Bella snapped, though her voice wavered ever so slightly.

The butler's smile deepened.

"You mean to say you don't feel anything for him? Not even after he saved your life minutes ago?"

Bella's cheeks flushed a faint pink as she spun around.

Her arms were still crossed.

"I'm a grown ass woman, Morgan. If I liked someone, I wouldn't deny it like some… child! I don't find Scott McQueen attractive at all!"

She paused for half a second before muttering under her breath.

"I just want him to be a good boy and show up in my next music video… and maybe my movie… or, uh, all of them… maybe… just maybe…"

Morgan sighed, shaking his head with a wry smile.

"Honestly…"

Gold Plaza

Meanwhile, Scott strolled down the spacious plaza, his hands stuffed into his jacket pockets.

The buzz of the crowd behind him was fading.

Now, he really felt at peace.

『I should get home to Emma and Gwen, maybe we can watch some movies with Brigid and Marcus…』

Just as he rounded a corner, he caught sight of a vaguely familiar figure standing by one of the massive pillars. The moment their eyes met, the person's face turned pale, and they immediately ducked behind the pillar, clearly trying to hide.

Scott's brows furrowed in suspicion.

Quickening his pace, he marched toward the pillar.

"Aha!"

He shouted as he rounded it, expecting to catch some lurking paparazzi.

Instead, his jaw dropped.

Standing before him was a stunning woman with fox-like ears and a long, fluffy tail swishing nervously behind her. Her golden-brown hair framed her delicate face, and her amber eyes widened in embarrassment.

"Foxgirl?!"

Scott exclaimed, stumbling back a step.

The woman's face turned a deeper shade of red as she brushed her bangs aside and frowned shyly.

"It's not Foxgirl…"

She mumbled in her soft voice.

"I'm Vixen… her sister."

Scott blinked.

"Wait, what? Vixen? The fox chick from the SMPE…?"

Vixen glared at him, puffing her cheeks.

"Of course it is! Don't act like you don't know who I am you fucking son of a bitch!"

Scott smirked faintly, crossing his arms.

"Right… sure you are. So, what're you doing here? Spying on me?"

Vixen's fluffy ears twitched as she looked away, her tail swishing nervously.

"I wasn't spying! I just… happened to be passing by!"

Scott arched a brow.

"Right, because random fox-eared women casually stroll through luxury plazas on a daily basis."

Vixen huffed and stamped her foot lightly.

"It's none of your business, okay?!"

Scott chuckled, shaking his head.

"Whatever you say, Foxgir—I mean, Vixen."

Her eyes narrowed, but the faint blush on her cheeks betrayed her annoyance.

[Ding! You've initiated an encounter with Vixen!]
