Harem With Venom In Marvel/Dc

Chapter 15: Chapter 15 Procrastination

In the movie, Superman's body is buried in a cemetery, but in reality, this would be impossible.

Whether for research or for the creation of biological weapons, this world is filled with countless ambitious individuals.

"I don't understand what you're talking about."

Bruce denied it, stating that there was nothing he could do at the moment except delay time.

"Ms. Pamela, I apologize for the trouble."

"It's not a problem."

Pamela manipulated vines to bind Bruce and exhaled a mist directly onto his face.

"Tell me where Superman's body is."

"No... I don't know."

Bruce's eyes looked slightly dazed, but his mind remained clear as always.

Pamela was a bit surprised. "What strong willpower."

"Release Mr. Bruce."

Pamela exhaled a mouthful of mist towards the elderly housekeeper. The next moment, the old woman trembled and collapsed to the ground.

"Truly worthy of Batman."

Chino took a ring out of his pocket.

Mind Amplification Ring: This ring enhances the wearer's mental energy, allowing them to mentally control and command one person at a time. However, its effective range is only ten feet.

Chino slipped the ring onto his finger and focused on activating its power towards Bruce.

For a brief moment, Bruce's gaze flickered with confusion before he slowly spoke. "Superman's body is in the Batcave beneath Wayne Manor."

Chino and Pamela exchanged glances, excitement welling up inside them.

At last, they had discovered Superman's body. Chino stood up and said, "Take us there."

Bruce mechanically stood up and led them to the underground laboratory.

The lab was filled with high-tech equipment, and Superman's body lay peacefully inside a massive crystal coffin. Chino gazed at it in awe.

"So, this is what was hidden in your hands all along."

"Yes. There is a decoy buried in the cemetery to divert attention," Bruce said emotionlessly.

"Open it!"

"Alright."

As the crystal coffin opened, Chino placed his hand on Clark's body. Black tissue began seeping into his skin through his pores.

[The cells are still active. He is not truly dead, but in a state of suspended animation.]

"Bruce, did you know that Clark isn't actually dead?" Chino asked.

Bruce resisted momentarily, but Chino strengthened his control. Bruce then spoke slowly.

"...His brainwaves are extremely weak, but they still exist. His body continues absorbing solar radiation. If placed under the sun, he will recover within a maximum of five years."

It made sense. If the Mother Box was the ultimate weapon created by Apokolips, then how could it have revived him?

Superman was resurrected because the Mother Box repaired his body, stimulated it with immense energy, and awakened him.

"Then why haven't you revived him?"

"He cannot appear in this world yet. The timing must be right."

Pamela looked at Bruce in confusion. What did he mean?

Chino understood a little. The last Kryptonian invasion and the recent Doomsday event had been resolved, but they caused great devastation and exposed the true power of superhumans.

The world's authorities feared Superman's strength. He could not simply return. He had to wait for another global crisis before emerging as the world's savior.

"No matter the world, good people will always have guns pointed at them."

At that moment, a golden rope coiled around Bruce and pulled him away.

"That's why we heroes exist."

It was Diana—Wonder Woman—who had captured Bruce.

The Lasso of Truth took effect, and Bruce's rationality returned.

"You're late. I sent a message thirty minutes ago."

"Do you think Washington is right next to your house?"

Diana stared at Clark's body in shock, her expression turning cold. "You owe me an explanation."

Bruce didn't answer. Instead, he ran toward the armory.

"Alright, whatever your goal is, take it away from him!" Diana drew her Godkiller Sword and turned her gaze to the black tissue spreading over Clark's body.

Chino asked internally, "Venom, how much more time do you need?"

[Still a little more. The analysis is only halfway done.]

He needed to buy time.

[Und—]

Before Venom could finish, Chino severed the connection.

"Bruce was right. You're too late!"

Chino's body turned green in an instant. With a wave of his hand, countless vines lashed out like enraged serpents, attacking Diana.

The vines were thick and powerful, covered in sharp thorns, slicing through the air with a terrifying sound.

"You've made the wrong choice."

Diana swung the Godkiller Sword, its blade glowing with divine light.

Her movements were like a storm, each slash precisely severing the incoming vines. However, the cut vines instantly sprouted into finer branches, continuing to entangle her.

From the floor, countless vines burst forth wildly, transforming the dimly lit Batcave into a sea of green.

The vines surged like waves, moving as if they were living creatures, baring their fangs and claws as they attacked Diana.

Diana slashed with her Godkiller Sword, severing several vines at once, causing green sap to splatter everywhere. Yet, the broken vines seemed to possess endless vitality, regenerating instantly to resume their assault.

Pamela immediately joined the fight, weaving her hands to control more vines from the ceiling, walls, and ground, trying to trap Diana in an enormous net of green.

Even with her immense strength, Diana was beginning to feel the strain against the never-ending attacks.

"Do you really think this will stop me?"

Diana crossed her arms, causing her silver bracelets to clash.

A golden layer of energy surged around her, repelling all the vines in an instant.

The recoiling vines crashed into the walls and equipment, producing dull thuds.

Seeing this, Chino immediately adjusted his strategy.

Pamela continued controlling the vines, while Chino enhanced their strength.

A green glow enveloped Chino's body, causing the surrounding vines to thicken, their surfaces gleaming with a metallic sheen.

"Damn it, this is getting annoying."

Diana cursed and kept slashing with her sword, slowly advancing towards them.

As the stalemate continued, Bruce suddenly emerged from the armory.

He donned his black Batsuit, holding a canister in his hand, which he tossed into the center of the green mass.

Bang!—

A loud explosion echoed, and thick mist rapidly spread. The vines that came into contact with it began to wither as if their life force was being drained away.

"Herbicide! Of course, the Batcave would have this."

"Kid, look out!"

At that moment, Diana finally closed the distance. She stowed her sword, raised her shield, and smashed it down toward Chino's head.
