Harem With Venom In Marvel/Dc

Chapter 168: Chapter 166: Butterfly Stroke in the Sewers?

"Claws?!"

The sudden, unauthorized action of the Talons filled the old man with intense unease.

Kino walked through the crowd at a leisurely pace, finally arriving in front of Tim.

"Little Tim, how did you discover me?"

"I didn't. I just guessed. Uncle, you led us here to deal with the Court of Owls—you'd surely be watching the outcome."

Tim replied with a smile.

"Smart boy. But sometimes, it's best not to be too smart. That can get you dragged into a dangerous vortex."

Kino gently ruffled Tim's hair.

"Then, Uncle, are you dangerous?"

"For my enemies, I'm very dangerous."

"That's good."

Tim let out a sigh of relief, and the tension on his face visibly eased.

At the same time, Pamela, Venom, and Harley were each injecting others with the limb regeneration serum.

"Little bird, you nearly lost your life again. This time I saved you. Shouldn't you say something? Hahahaha."

Harley teased, gently poking Jason's helmet, her eyes full of mischief.

"Shut up."

Jason's face darkened terrifyingly.

He knew deep down that he'd been played. The Joker girl… and his so-called uncle—both had turned out to be fakes. A wave of defeat and fury boiled within him.

The old man didn't stop their treatment. He simply kept his sharp gaze fixed on Kino.

"Who exactly are you?"

"My current identity? Batman."

"Those hundred Batmen… was that your doing too?"

"Yeah."

"Why go against the Court of Owls? We have no conflict of interest. Whatever you need, I can provide."

The old man tried to lure Kino with offers of benefit, his eyes gleaming with hope.

The other Owl members, sensing the situation going south, had already begun scattering in every direction like frightened birds. Yet the old man remained rooted in place.

The Talons hadn't moved—clearly, no one could escape without someone's permission.

Kino didn't even glance at the fleeing Owls.

"I've already found what I wanted—Challenger's Mountain."

"You're here for the Five Metals! Can't you spare me? I'll act like none of this ever happened. I can even help cover up everything here.

If you kill me, the Court of Owls will hunt you down. But I can tell you where the rest of them are—"

The old man spoke quickly, desperate to trade what he had for a chance at survival.

"Washington. Mexico. The Egyptian Pyramids. The Arctic bunker..."

Kino calmly recited a list of locations, each word like a hammer pounding into the old man's chest.

His face turned ghostly pale, beads of sweat forming rapidly on his forehead.

He had thought these secret bases could serve as bargaining chips—leverage Kino wouldn't dare challenge. But Kino already knew them all.

"Relax. I am Batman now. I don't kill people," Kino said reassuringly.

The old man visibly relaxed. As long as he was alive, there was still hope.

Just then, hurried footsteps echoed from behind.

"Sir, all the exits are sealed! We can't get out!"

A Court of Owls member ran over, gasping for air.

The ones who had tried to escape now returned, breathless, their masks missing, faces filled with terror and helplessness.

"Not all the exits. The White Labyrinth's drain entrance isn't sealed."

As Kino finished speaking, the sound of a crashing waterfall echoed from the depths of the maze.

"What did you do?!"

The old man's face twisted with horror and fury.

"Nothing much. Just thought it was a waste for such a big place to sit unused, so I reworked Gotham's sewers a bit."

A faint smile touched Kino's lips, but his words were chilling.

The old man's face went paper-white.

The other Owl members caught on quickly. A sickening stench began to fill the air.

On the other side, Dick and the others, now recovered, stared at Kino's back, their eyes filled with dread.

They knew what Gotham's sewer system contained. The sheer volume of waste could flood this place entirely.

"I should get going.

As an Owl, you're supposed to soar in the skies and nest in trees—not hide in sewers like rats.

Next life, pick a better spot."

With that, Kino opened a portal.

Harley was the first to leap in—she hadn't expected this twist in the fun.

"Don't go! Save me! Aren't you Robins?! I surrender! Please save me!"

"I'm only 16! I'm still a child! I'll sleep with you if you save me—I'm still a virgin!"

"Oliver! It's me—Gotham's William! We've shared drinks many times. I'll give you all my money—just get me out of here!"

"I was forced! I'm innocent!"

All dignity forgotten, they wailed and begged, reaching out desperately to those around them, full of despair.

Some of them were familiar faces—noble heiresses, playboys, philanthropists, Gotham officials.

Jason and Oliver didn't hesitate. They shoved away the grasping hands and dove into the portal, eyes full of disgust.

"Uncle…"

Dick and Tim hesitated as the crowd clutched their wrists, looking uncertainly at Kino.

"If you want to stay, I won't stop you.

But you'd better be confident you can drag these dozens of people with you through a sewage pool."

Kino glanced at them and said coldly.

Dick and Tim shivered. Just imagining that scene made them want to die.

The stench in the air grew stronger. Kino, along with Venom and Pamela, stepped through the portal—he had activated a bio-field to block out the smell.

Dick and Tim broke free of the crowd and sprinted toward the portal without hesitation.

From behind came wails like those of ghosts:

"You'll go to hell! I won't forgive you even in death!"

"I'm just a kid! Why won't you save me?!"

"You're demons! The Court of Owls will make you pay!"

"Wait for me…!"

With these screams echoing behind them, Dick and Tim disappeared into the portal.

The moment they passed through, the portal vanished with a boom, leaving those chasing after it to fall flat on their faces.

Hope was gone. Madness consumed them.

"This is all your fault! If you hadn't dragged me into the Court, I'd be living it up in Gotham!"

"You said you were a virgin? I'll make sure you're not anymore!"

"Die!"

"Aaah! My eyes!"

Screams, curses, fighting, and howls of agony turned the room into pure hell.

The old man looked at the pathetic state of the Owls, despair in his eyes. Slowly, he turned to face the towering owl statue and knelt.

"Beware the Court of Owls, that watches all the time,Ruling from the shadows, behind walls and grime. They perch upon the rooftops, and in your bed they lie.Speak not their name aloud—or the Talon comes to pry."

He softly recited the Owl rhyme, then opened the gem on his scepter, took out a pill, and swallowed it without hesitation.

His body began to melt, turning into a pool of black water that quickly vanished into the chaos.

Even in death, he chose to maintain the illusion of noble grace.

The White Labyrinth erupted with yellow floodwater, drowning everything.

"Help... glug glug…"

Desperate cries faded into darkness.
