Harem With Venom In Marvel/Dc

Chapter 183: Chapter 181: Who's Giving the Pressure?

"From now on, you are responsible for taking care of him. If he dies, I will turn your souls into candles."

After saying that, Chino turned and walked away.

Deadpool quickly followed.

"Boss, you're so handsome. Can I touch it?"

"No."

"Please, boss, I'll let you touch me too."

"...Say one more word, and I'll deduct 100,000 from your bonus."

"..."

The Arkham graduates exchanged glances as they watched the Demon King disappear into the shadows.

"What do we do?"

"What can we do? We have to take care of the Joker. Do you want to turn into a candle?"

"The Joker must have done a lot of bad things to attract the Demon King's attention."

"I want to be a good person from now on."

"Where did the Joker go?"

"Quick, find him!"

A group of them got up and started searching.

"Found him! He's in the restroom! I can't stop him. This time, it's the soul of a dog! Ugh..."

A series of dry heaving sounds came from the restroom.

DC storyline concludes for now.

Returning to the Marvel world, Chino arrived at the company and found Banner, Otto, Connors, Hank, and Killian.

"Young Master, what can we do for you?" Banner asked, knowing that gathering so many people meant something important was going on.

"I have something for you. Develop its use."

Chino threw out some amber gold, wine god factor, promethium, and eternal stones.

"Such strong radiation!"

Otto extended two mechanical tentacles from his back, one scanning the metals, while the other displayed various data.

The versatile tentacles, improved with Octopus Lady's technology, were like a mobile laboratory that could carry out many tasks.

The others gathered around to look at the data. Since they had all injected the enhanced serum 3.0, the radiation wasn't a problem.

"Fantastic, these ores contain energy."

Hank pulled out a piece of eternal stone.

"These metals have magical powers. Be careful when studying them; don't blow anything up."

Chino then explained the properties of each metal. As Banner and the other scientists listened, their eyes grew brighter, eager to move the metals to their laboratory.

Chino didn't disturb them and flew off toward Tony's seaside villa.

As soon as he landed, the electronic eye at the door scanned him.

"Hello, Mr. Chino."

"Jarvis, I'm looking for Tony."

Chino greeted.

"Sir is currently giving Lorna a lecture in the laboratory."

Jarvis opened the door.

"Okay, I'll find them myself."

Chino entered the laboratory and saw Tony explaining something to a projection screen. Lorna was listening intently, occasionally jotting down notes.

Her focused, determined eyes and her long green hair tied casually at the back of her head gave her a professional appearance.

Tony glanced at the door and said, "Alright, review what I've explained today. Next month, bring back anything you don't understand, and I'll answer it."

"Yes, Tony-sensei."

Lorna packed her things and got ready to leave.

When she turned around, she stiffened at the sight of Chino. She quickly regained composure and nodded indifferently.

"Hello, boss."

"Hi, Lorna. Long time no see. How have you been?"

"I've been great, learning new things every day."

Thinking about her recent life, a smile unconsciously appeared on Lorna's face.

"Good. Just don't push yourself too hard. Balance is important."

Chino expressed his concern.

"I understand, boss. I have some other things to do now. Can you move, please?"

Lorna said, lowering her head as she adjusted her materials.

"Huh? Sorry."

Chino just realized he was blocking the door.

Lorna hurried out, and when she reached a corner, she leaned against the wall and slowly crouched down.

"What am I doing? I haven't washed my hair in two days; is it greasy? And this old outfit, does it smell?"

Her mind was in turmoil as she covered her face with her hands.

Her heart raced as she thought about how she had acted in front of Chino. She felt utterly embarrassed.

Usually, she dressed casually, but when she was around Chino, she always tried to look youthful and radiant, experimenting with different styles, hoping to figure out what he liked.

Lorna bit her lip, silently scolding herself: "Why today of all days? Why did I have to run into him looking like this?"

The more she thought about it, the more frustrated she became, feeling like all her previous efforts to attract Chino had turned to dust.

"Lorna, what's wrong?"

Lorna looked up.

"Pepper?"

Pepper, holding a stack of documents for Tony to sign, looked at Lorna's pitiful appearance and seemed to understand something. A cold glint flashed in her eyes.

"Did Tony bully you? Come on, I'll help you beat him up."

Pepper put the documents down and rolled up her sleeves, ready to go find Tony.

"Wait, Pepper, he didn't bully me."

Lorna quickly grabbed Pepper's arm, but was still dragged along.

"Pepper, Chino just came to find Tony."

Now that Pepper and Tony were living together, Jarvis addressed her as "Madam."

Pepper paused, remembering Tony had mentioned the relationship between Lorna and Chino, and turned to look at Lorna with a teasing smile.

"Lorna~"

Lorna immediately let go and stood still.

Her cheeks flushed instantly, and she avoided looking at Pepper, fidgeting with her clothes.

Chino watched Lorna rush out, then turned to Tony.

"Tony, not everyone is a genius like you. She's still young. Don't pressure her too much with studying."

Tony gave him a look as if he were an idiot.

"You think I'm the one giving her pressure?"

"Who else? I didn't do anything. Wait... why are you looking at me like that?"

Chino was confused.

"Because you did nothing."

Tony shook his head helplessly. His students still had a long way to go. Maybe next time, he should share some of his love life experiences with her in the next class.

"Anyway, what's up? You never come to see me without a reason."

"Come on, this time I've brought you some really good stuff. Do you have a place to store these? Something to handle radiation."

Chino looked around the lab, filled with intricate equipment and desks, with nowhere to store things.

"Good stuff?"

Tony was intrigued. If Chino called it good, it must be something important.

Tony led Chino to the basement, a space used for crafting battle armor and storing reactors.

Chino pulled out the promethium and eternal stones—four boxes in total—and explained their properties.

Tony used a mechanical arm to grab a piece of the eternal stone and began testing it.

"You got this from DC, didn't you? The energy inside is fascinating. I wonder if it can be artificially synthesized."

Tony focused intently on the screen in front of him.

"The energy inside is magical. It's unlikely to be artificially synthesized, but you can try."

Chino didn't want to be too certain. After all, Tony could create a time travel machine, so who knows? Synthesizing magic might not be impossible.

Tony began analyzing the promethium metal.

Quote:"Sometimes, the greatest pressure comes not from others, but from the expectations we place on ourselves."
