Harmonious Love

The Harmony of Yin and Yang Is Not as It Seems PART2 (4)

Tae Young-won is really, really…

A truly strange person.

“Can you believe what I’m saying?”

“…”

Mo Yeon couldn’t answer because he felt so strange.

Somehow, he couldn’t bear this odd feeling anymore. So, Mo Yeon impulsively blurted out:

“I masturbated because of you yesterday, sunbae.”

“…”

Immediately, Tae Young-won’s eyes widened. After a moment of being frozen stiff as if facing an unacceptable truth, he asked very seriously:

“When?”

His expression was incredibly serious. Mo Yeon felt like laughing and bit the inside of his cheek.

“…Right after hanging up the phone with you.”

“Where?”

‘Where,’ he asks.

It felt very like Tae Young-won to be curious about such things right away. Mo Yeon hesitated before answering.

“Just the usual way.”

“…”

“And a little bit in the back too…”

“This is driving me crazy.”

Tae Young-won ran his hand through his hair as if he was losing his mind. As Mo Yeon had expected, he seemed quite displeased. Of course, Mo Yeon knew he would react this way.

“Without me?”

“Yes.”

“Even though I clearly told you not to masturbate without me?”

“Yes.”

As Mo Yeon answered calmly, Tae Young-won’s gaze didn’t leave his eyes. As Mo Yeon looked up at him quietly, the corner of his handsome mouth curled up.

“Then you need to be punished again.”

His voice reminded Mo Yeon of that incident from quite some time ago.

Even in that alley where Mo Yeon had desperately followed him with a gambling mindset, Tae Young-won had given in.

For some reason, the familiar situation made Mo Yeon smile unknowingly. For a moment, Tae Young-won flinched.

“Let me ask you just one thing.”

“…”

“If we go up together, will you wear these again?”

He was talking about the glasses.

“While saying things like your eyes look unpleasant and such?”

Mo Yeon thought for a moment and then shook his head.

“Good, then show me again right now.”

Tae Young-won pulled Mo Yeon’s arm as if he had been waiting for this.

To think he could be persuaded so easily…

He was still a strange person, but he didn’t seem as strange as before.

***

When it had been over two weeks since Mo Yeon went to school without glasses, he thought that maybe Tae Young-won’s words might be true.

People who had shown great interest at first later stopped mentioning it. But he still couldn’t bring himself to cut his bangs short enough to show his eyes clearly.

“I heard Young-won might go to graduate school?”

“Oh, really?”

“It seems he doesn’t plan to work directly under his father right away.”

He was clearly eating alone, but…

While eating at the student cafeteria, Kim Jung-hyun and Han Chae-yeon sat down in front of Mo Yeon without invitation, creating a situation similar to the three of them eating together.

At first, Mo Yeon had just nodded a greeting and was eating silently alone, but when the topic of Tae Young-won came up, he couldn’t help but prick up his ears.

“But it’s the first time I’ve heard about graduate school?”

“Honestly, for him, becoming a professor and then inheriting wouldn’t be bad, right?”

“True. We don’t know what’s going on in his mind… He might even study abroad?”

“You haven’t heard anything either, Yeon?”

Mo Yeon was suddenly surprised when the topic arrow flew to him.

They were treating him as if he had been there all along. Was his face really not that unpleasant to others?

“I don’t really…”

“Of course, that guy wouldn’t tell easily.”

Then Han Chae-yeon suddenly put down her spoon and made a meaningful expression.

“Yeon, should I tell you something? About Tae Young-won.”

“…”

“That guy, he’s studied stocks and has tons of money to spend.”

She whispered.

“So if he offers to buy you something delicious, don’t hesitate and shamelessly accept it. Got it?”

“Yes…”

He was already often treated to meals, causing his meal allowance to accumulate automatically.

“He probably wouldn’t even notice if you stole a few bills from his wallet.”

“…”

Han Chae-yeon added this and stared at Mo Yeon as if telling him to really try it. Mo Yeon felt a twinge in his chest.

Surely she wasn’t being serious?

Mo Yeon found it difficult to distinguish between jokes and seriousness when dealing with others, especially Han Chae-yeon.

Of course, Mo Yeon had no intention of touching Tae Young-won’s wallet, as he had already stolen his yang energy.

“By the way, are you meeting Tae Young-won today too?”

“Yes… We’re going to work on our assignment at sunbae’s house after classes. The presentation is already next week.”

“You’re going to his house? He never takes anyone there.”

“It’s because his house is close.”

“No, he just never tells anyone or takes them there. I’ve never seen anyone go.”

“Well, I haven’t even been near it.”

Kim Jung-hyun added, sounding a bit disappointed. Somehow, Mo Yeon’s answer seemed to have surprised the two of them, but right now, other thoughts were crossing Mo Yeon’s mind.

A memory from the past immediately came to mind.

“Haven’t you often drunk with Tae Young-won sunbae and stayed at his place?”

“No, only once when we went on an MT, but rarely otherwise. Later, even during MTs, he would go home alone.”

“Then you’ve never showered together either?”

“Right? Well, even if we showered, we would have done it separately, but he doesn’t like that kind of thing in the first place. Although he pretends not to.”

Mo Yeon’s eyes narrowed strangely.

The day after he had unknowingly followed Tae Young-won from the dinner venue to his house, Tae Young-won had suddenly opened the bathroom door while Mo Yeon was showering, which was very embarrassing.

“I thought it was common for guys to see each other naked after drinking. I didn’t think you’d be this surprised.”

So that statement was indeed nonsense.

A one hundred percent lie.

This abominable person…

Mo Yeon held his chopsticks blankly and trembled inwardly. Of course, others wouldn’t notice any change, but remembering how surprised he had been then made him very upset.

While Mo Yeon was belatedly getting worked up, Kim Jung-hyun spent 20 minutes talking about his concerns regarding his new girlfriend. The main content was that he felt good when they were together, but he was anxious because she seemed cold when they communicated normally.

“But… why are you so obsessed with communication?”

So Mo Yeon, who had been quietly listening to their conversation, couldn’t help but ask.

“I just think it’s courtesy between lovers.”

It wasn’t a very helpful answer.

Mo Yeon couldn’t understand at all why people were so obsessed with communication. It was because Tae Young-won was exactly that kind of person.

“…Then what do you usually ask when you call?”

On the other hand, it seemed similar to how Tae Young-won behaved towards him, which made Mo Yeon think they really were dating.

“Just what they ate, what happened today, things like that?”

“Right. It’s obvious.”

Seeing both of them speak so nonchalantly, it did seem to be the norm.

These days, Tae Young-won also asked Mo Yeon what he had eaten, what he was doing, and how he did on pop quizzes. But what Mo Yeon really wanted to ask the two of them wasn’t about that.

What Mo Yeon was really curious about was whether other couples also asked each other several times a day about “the state of each other’s genitals,” “what underwear they were wearing,” and “exactly what process they went through when washing their bodies this morning.”

Of course, he couldn’t ask such things to the two of them.

Surprisingly, as they were finishing their meal, Tae Young-won somehow found out where they were and came to find them.

“Thanks for looking after Mo Yeon. I’ll buy you coffee next time.”

And after saying that, Tae Young-won brazenly and naturally took Mo Yeon away. Even when Mo Yeon questioned him, saying he had no memory of being left in anyone’s care, Tae Young-won just smiled with a mischievous face.

“Today, let’s just focus on the assignment until dinner time. And if possible, I’d like to work until 10 PM since we’ve matched our schedules. Actually, I think it would have been more appropriate to go to a nearby cafe or the school library today, so I’m not sure if going to your place like this is the right thing to do. Why did you leave your laptop at home today of all days?”

Today was the day Mo Yeon and Tae Young-won had promised to focus solely on their assignment. But just a little while ago, Tae Young-won had unfortunately informed him that he had left his laptop at home.

Well, Tae Young-won sunbae is a busy person with a lot on his mind.

In Mo Yeon’s perception, Tae Young-won was still closer to being a slacker. After all, in university, grades could be filled with various methods like brain power or using old exam papers rather than diligence.

“So… I guess it’s because I’m an idiot, Mo Yeon.”

Mo Yeon nodded. It seemed that next time, he should remind Tae Young-won once more the day before. To some extent, it was also his fault for trusting Tae Young-won too much.

“Just don’t do it next time. Still, if you had told me earlier, I could have gone to your place and brought it while we were waiting.”

“You’re right? I didn’t think of that either.”

It seemed that they had no choice but to try to concentrate at Tae Young-won’s house as much as possible, even though it was unavoidable.

“So we have no choice but to do it at my place today, right?”

“Yes, well…”

Today, contrary to being careless, Tae Young-won seemed more meticulous, yet he had acted unlike himself. I guess he’s human after all. Mo Yeon didn’t think much of it.
