Harry Potter and the Silent Guardian

So, it's official—the book is done! While the story has already concluded on my patreon, I know Webnovel is 13 chapters behind. To buy myself enough time to plan the next novel, I'll be releasing the remaining chapters one at a time as usual over the next 13 days. This will help me wrap up this journey properly and give me the space to prepare for what's next.

An Apology

First off, I want to apologize for not being very active on Webnovel. I haven't been reading comments or reviews here. I could offer plenty of excuses—juggling a full-time job, life, and writing this novel took up most of my time—but they're just that: excuses. The truth is, I wasn't very confident in my writing when I started. I was afraid that reading the comments would make me second-guess every choice I made. So, I chose to stay away from feedback and focus on finishing the story.

Along the way, I grew more confident and realized I didn't need to justify every decision. True fans would enjoy the story for what it was. That said, I did peek at the comments from time to time. I saw many of you defending my story on my behalf—and for that, I'm deeply grateful. Just to clarify: I don't have a second account, and I haven't replied to any comments. But I did enjoy reading your debates and theories.

Now, I've come to understand that feedback is essential for me to improve. I've become more confident in my writing and am ready to engage more actively. For my next book, I'll do my best to read and interact with you all. I want to grow as a writer, and your input will help me get there.

Help Me Decide the Next Story!

Now, it's time to look ahead to the next book—and I need your help to decide what to write next! I have two ideas:

1. A Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) fanfic. This story would follow a regular Earthling who uses his knowledge of the movies to grow and become powerful, exploring different corners of the MCU universe along the way.

2. Another Harry Potter fanfic, but with a twist. This time, it would feature an original character (OC) who teams up with the Girl Who Lived. It would start during the Goblet of Fire year at Hogwarts, but after that, they would leave school to travel the world, grow together, and eventually return for the final battle. It's a big undertaking, but I think it would be fun to imagine and write.

Personally, I lean toward the MCU idea, but since most of you found me through this Harry Potter fic, I'm not sure which direction you'd prefer. Maybe, if I keep improving, I can write both at the same time! No promises, though—juggling a full-time job and this hobby is tough. Still, with AI getting better, who knows? Maybe I can write and edit faster than before.
