Chapter 10: Chapter 10: Charm Lessons
day two, early morning.
Alvin woke up early in the morning.
Because the system does not have a map function.
In order not to be late for class in the future, I can only take advantage of the absence of class in the morning to get acquainted with Hogwarts.
Throughout Hogwarts, there are countless stairs, passages, and many stairs all of which can move, and often there are little wizards who get lost on the stairs.
After a morning, Alvin finally figured out the stairs to the Charms class and the auditorium in the afternoon. When he came to the auditorium for breakfast, there were already many people inside.
Alvin found an empty seat at random and sat down, enjoying breakfast.
Beef patties, carrots, and vegetable soup are not hearty, but enough to fill the stomachs of little wizards.
If I remember correctly, the Hogwarts kitchen, next to the Hufflepuff lounge, went there to find the elves some other day and teach them some Chinese breakfast.
After so many years, Alvin still misses Chinese breakfast, fried dough sticks, soy milk, and salted tofu brain. With the ability of house elves, I believe they will learn it soon.
Seriously, Alvin felt that coming to Hogwarts was simply a blessing. As a young wizard who had just entered the school, there were not many classes every day, and he didn't even have a class schedule on Thursday. Some house-elves clean up the house every day, which is more comfortable than at home.
While Alvin was thinking about it, he suddenly felt a tap on the shoulder, and when he looked up, it was Cho and Marietta who were standing beside her.
"Why didn't you wait for me? You are still unfamiliar with this place, and it's easy to get lost."
Cho's slightly irritated tone sounded, and Alvin smiled, gesturing for Cho and Marietta to sit down.
"I got up early, and I had nothing to do anyway, so I went out and walked around to familiarize myself with the stairs."
Cho heard it and said nothing, nodding to show that he understood.
Then she took out her wand and lightly tapped, and breakfast appeared on her table.
"What's your class today?"
Cho asked Alvin
"Professor Flitwick's charm class and I have to go to the astronomy class on the top floor at night."
Alvin answered.
"Professor Flitwick is a master of spells, and he's very nice to his students."
Cho told Alvin about Professor Flitwick.
"It is said that Professor Flitwick has goblin blood, and he was the champion of the fighting competition that year."
Marietta added.
Speaking of this kind of gossip, Marietta seemed a lot excited, constantly sharing gossip from nowhere.
Alvin is also very interested in this. In his previous life, he had not seen the original book, and he had seen the movie many years ago. Just remember some main lines and know what the annual copy is.
He still didn't expect that Professor Flitwick was so strong. He doesn't have that many roles in the movie.
After breakfast was over, Alvin invited Cho to go out for a walk. They walked across the grass, walked along the tree-lined path, and the two slowly came to Black Lake.
Alvin turned his head slightly and looked at the girl beside him. The breeze by the lake blew her beautiful hair. A beautiful face appeared in front of his eyes.
With her upturned nose and rosy lips, Alvin looked at her in a trance.
Cho noticed his gaze and was shy.
Alvin gently took Cho's hand, walked to a bench, and the two went up to it.
Looking at the calm Black Lake and the Forbidden Forest in the distance, enjoying the fragrance of the girl beside me brought by the breeze is very comfortable.
Cho also liked this quiet feeling very much, and gradually, she leaned on Alvin's shoulder.
Alvin felt the touch on his shoulders, and with a slight touch, he gently hugged the girl.
After a while, Cho had to go to class, so the two returned to the castle.
Cho went to class, and Alvin had nothing to do, so he simply went back to the dormitory to catch up.
...
In the afternoon, Alvin came to the Charms Classroom. This Charms Class was with Hufflepuff, so he didn't see the trio of the two academies.
Someone was already seated in the front row, and Alvin went to the back. sat next to a boy.
"Good afternoon, Anthony"
The boy next to him, Anthony Goldstein, is a pure-blood wizard whose parents work in the Department of Magical Transportation. The two had a good chat on the way to the lounge yesterday.
"Good afternoon, Alvin."
After the two said hello, the bell for class rang.
Professor Flitwick walked in briskly. Due to being too short, the professor could only stand on a stack of books to have a normal class.
Pulling out a roster, Professor Flitwick began the roll call. It gave Alvin the illusion that he was back in college and the teacher checked attendance.
The roll call was completed successfully, and no little wizard was late. Professor Flitwick put away the roster.
"Gentlemen and ladies, conjuration is the most basic part of modern magic. Wizards use spells to achieve their goals."
"Although the school has a Defence Against the Dark Arts class and a Transfiguration class. But essentially, they are also part of the spell."
"Of course, the main content of our spells class is some practical spells in life. For example, Levitation spells."
After that, Professor Flitwick waved his hand, and the desk in front of him floated up, dancing gracefully with the shaking of his wand.
"Another example is the Vanishing Spell." Professor Flitwick pointed with his wand, and the lectern disappeared again.
The little wizards in the audience were very excited. Can't wait to start learning.
Seeing his demonstration successfully aroused the interest of the little wizards, Flitwick nodded in satisfaction. With a little tap, the disappearing desk appeared in front of them, and it had returned to its appearance.
"Next, we're going to start our first class, the Wand-Lighting Charm."
"The mantra of the Wand-Lighting is "Lumos". When casting a spell, hold the wand a little tighter and then move forward."
Professor Flitwick kept explaining the rhythm of chanting spells and the changes in gestures when casting spells. Then, let the little wizards start trying.
All the little wizards can't wait to start practicing. For a while, the sound of chanting spells in the classroom continued.
However, many people's wands didn't respond, and some people with fast progress had a halo between their wands, but they disappeared quickly.
Alvin also took out his wand and said softly, "Lumos!"
In an instant, a white light appeared on the tip of his wand, which was very bright. With the movement of his mind, the light group changed, constantly changing its color.
"Excellent, Mr. Gaunt."
Professor Flitwick walked over quickly, with a very excited tone.
"Mr. Gaunt, I didn't expect you to succeed once, and also mastered the variant release of the Wand-Lighting Charm."
After speaking, Professor Flitwick wiped the corners of his eyes.
"You have given a lecture. I just read the textbook in advance and tried it a few times."
Alvin was very speechless. A Wand-Lighting Charm made a professor burst into tears with excitement. He was very suspicious of what kind of students Flitwick taught in the past.
