Harry Potter: Card Drawing System

Chapter 7: Chapter 7: Journey

While the three of them were talking, time passed quickly. In a blink of an eye, the sky darkened, and the speed of the train gradually decreased, ready to arrive at the station.

The three quickly took off their Muggle jackets and put on Hogwarts robes.

Looking at the light rain falling outside the window and feeling the wet and cold weather outside, Alvin couldn't help shivering.

Thinking of something, Alvin opened his suitcase, took out a scarf from it, and helped Cho wrap it around his neck.

"Put this on, it's raining and cold outside."

Cho Chang blushed slightly but did not reject his kindness.

The train arrived at the station, and Alvin and Cho walked out with the crowd.

"First-year freshmen, first-year freshmen come here!"

A loud voice came from not far away, a man who was more than three meters tall stood there, constantly beckoning new students to gather around him.

"Cho, I'll go first." Nodding to Cho, Alvin was going to line up at Hagrid's side.

"Come on, Alvin, I look forward to your to Ravenclaw." Cho looked at Alvin tenderly and said with anticipation.

Looking at Cho's expectant eyes, Alvin felt a little bitterness in his heart. Just for his surname Gaunt, he is a Slytherin.

But just for the sake of Cho, he had to try it out to see if he could convince the Sorting Hat. In addition, he didn't like Slytherin very much. Entering Slytherin as his half-blood wizard, there will be troublesome people looking for him.

Soon, all the new students gathered around Hagrid, and Hagrid counted the number of people. Hagrid took an oil lamp and led a bunch of little wizards to the distance. Walking and shouting back.

"Watch out for your feet, be careful, this part of the road is hard!"

A group of little wizards followed Hagrid with difficulty. Hagrid was far away, and the old oil lamp was very dim.

Alvin pulled out his wand; "Lumos."

Immediately, his wand gave off a cloud of white light. The little wizard behind also breathed a sigh of relief.

"Wow, Ron, look at him, he's amazing."

Hearing the voice, Alvin couldn't help but turn his head. Unexpectedly, behind him were Ron and Harry.

Seeing Alvin turn around, Harry felt a little embarrassed, and the behind-the-scenes discussions were always a little embarrassing, even if he was bragging just now.

"Hi, my name is Harry Potter, and next to me is Ron Weasley."

Alvin nodded at him and introduced himself.

"Hi, my name is Alvin Gaunt."

Harry saw that Alvin didn't show any excitement because he heard his name, and instantly guessed that Alvin was probably from the ordinary world.

"Hello, are you from a normal family, I mean, a Muggle family."

"You are amazing, I still can't get a spell, but I met a girl on the train, her name is Hermione Granger, she is also Muggle, but she can help me fix Glasses with a spell."

Harry was very happy. Although people in the wizarding world treated him very well, everyone regarded him as a savior, but he had no idea what he did or how to do it.

So when he goes to school, he sees a child of the same Muggle family as himself and doesn't make a fuss just because he hears her name. Makes him very happy.

"It's nothing, I just learned it myself after I got the book, and I was lucky enough to learn one or two things."

Alvin did not deliberately alienate Harry, he would not refuse normal communication, as to whether the old bee would arrange some pits for him to jump in. It depends on who is higher.

Harry smiled embarrassingly. Since he got the textbook, he has also read it, but after chanting the spell stupidly, there is no response at all. He didn't try again.

"Which house do you want to be assigned to, Ron said, Gryffindor is the best house, I hope I won't be assigned to Slytherin."

Ron nodded in agreement. For the Weasleys, only Gryffindor was the best house. If he is assigned to Slytherin, it is estimated that he will become a shame in the family.

Alvin smiled and didn't make any comments, thinking of the beautiful girl with her soft hands, he said involuntarily.

"I'd rather go to Ravenclaw. Well, it's very moist."

"What?"

Harry said he didn't hear.

"Nothing, I think Ravenclaw is a good fit for me, I prefer it there."

"Oh fine."

Harry was a little disappointed to find that his new friend didn't want to go to Gryffindor, but he didn't interfere too much with other people's thoughts.

Under the leadership of Hagrid, the little wizards got on the boat in groups of four. The boat gradually approached the cliff. Under the command of Hagrid, the little wizards lowered their heads and passed through the bridge.

Alvin couldn't help but want to laugh. It was obvious that Hagrid was twice as tall as the little wizard when he lowered his head, but a bunch of people still lowered their heads.

Finally, the boat slowly approached the pier, and Hagrid led them through the tunnel, across the grass, and came to the main entrance of this magnificent castle.

After a sound, the gate of the castle slowly opened.

A witch with a serious expression and an old-fashioned face walked out wearing an emerald green wizard hat. The serious expression made the little wizards who were still chattering just now not dare take a breath.

"Professor McGonagall, the first-year students are here." Hagrid pointed to the back.

"Thank you for your hard work, Hagrid, just leave it to me."

Professor McGonagall's expression softened slightly, and with a wave of his wand, the little wizard behind him was refreshed because of the rain and the messy robe.

Immediately, the little wizard's impression of Professor McGonagall changed.

Professor McGonagall took the lead a group of freshmen into the hall. Simple and elegant are the countless burning torches hanging on the wall. Countless stars are twinkling.

The first one was a long table placed horizontally, with a gray-haired old man in the middle, talking to Snape on his left.

The four long tables below are arranged vertically, and countless candles float on the long table. The table is full of golden goblets and plates, and the old students sit next to them.

There is a high platform in the center, and the hats that must be worn out are placed there quietly.

Professor McGonagall did not lead them directly through the hall, but turned right, and asked the little wizards to line up. Some of the other students in the auditorium were talking to each other, and there were also many wizards looking this way.

"Welcome to Hogwarts. Next, we need to determine which house you belong to before you can officially enter."

Next, I'll call your names, and then please get on the high platform in the middle, put on the sorting hat, and he will decide where you belong.

Alvin lined up with the little wizards, looking at the scene in front of him, like a dream. Excited.

Hogwarts, here I come!
