Chapter 41: Welcome to Knockturn Alley!
"Professor, may I ask you a small favor?" After leaving the wand shop, Dumbledore intended to take the two children straight back to Hogwarts. Cassandra's school supplies were already purchased in the United States and stored in her handbag, which had been enchanted with an Untraceable Extension Charm.
It was Kyle who spoke up suddenly. "Of course, tell me, boy, what can I do for you?" Dumbledore inquired. "Well, Professor, I have some lovely magical animals, just like these Eevees. Since I'm going to school, I left them at home. If possible, could I take them with me to school? Don't worry, I'll take care of them."
"Well, although this violates school rules, as long as they're not seen by other students, it should be fine. It just so happens I can also be a guest at your house!" Dumbledore, with his fondness for Kyle, aimed to satisfy and nurture him. As long as a request wasn't excessive, he was willing to agree. "But we have to make an agreement in advance that your pets must not disrupt the order of the school," Dumbledore advised, although a smile graced his face. He appreciated that Kyle could recognize his positive qualities so readily. "Do not worry!" Kyle nodded emphatically as they made their way toward Knockturn Alley.
"Are these magical animals called Eevees? They look rather average to me," Cassandra commented as she walked beside Kyle, curiously observing the two Eevees. She had noticed the two cubs a while ago, yet found them somewhat haughty. Kyle chuckled inwardly, wondering who was more arrogant, Cassandra or Snape. Probably still Snape, given his many years of staunch pride.
"Would you like to pet these two Eevees? They are quite well-behaved and won't harm anyone," Kyle offered. "I have two cats and raccoons at home, and they too are very cute. If you insist on letting me pet them..." Cassandra began, but then stopped. "Forget it, I never force others to do anything." Kyle laughed before Cassandra could finish, almost making Cassandra fume with frustration.

"Ding! Congratulations to the host for obtaining a golden treasure chest!"
