Adrien and Han Fi returned to the room. Adrien saw that it was already dark outside, so he took Han Fi toward the dining area.

When Adrien arrived there, he saw his parents, Victor, Selena, Evelyn, and Ji Fan already seated at the dining table.

Seeing Adrien and Han Fi arrive, Selena said, "Where were you two? We've been waiting for you for a while."

Adrien replied to his mother, "I was out with Han Fi for some work. I'll explain everything to you all later. Let's have dinner for now."

Selena looked at Han Fi and was surprised by her cultivation. She was about to ask something when Victor interrupted and said,"Selena, let everyone have dinner first. We have guests today. You can talk to your son later."

Selena understood what Victor meant and stayed quiet. Evelyn was looking at Han Fi with interest, but due to Ji Fan's presence, she didn't say anything either.

Adrien greeted Ji Fan casually and asked, "So Ji Fan, how do you find our home?"

Ji Fan replied with a strange smile, "Adrien, I'm very happy with you—and so is Master. But there's someone who is not happy with you." As she said the last line, she looked at Han Fi.

Adrien asked with interest, "And who is this person that isn't happy with me?"

Ji Fan said, "My sister, Alina. Maybe she's upset with her lover right now."

Adrien asked, "And what does your sister's lover have to do with me?"

Ji Fan smiled slightly and said, "That only my sister can tell you—what connection you have with her lover."

Han Fi was listening to Ji Fan's words carefully. She was starting to understand a bit of what Ji Fan meant. But ever since she became conscious and learned about Adrien, there had been no mention of any girl named Alina.

Adrien shrugged and said, "If that's the case, I'll talk to your sister about it when I meet her."

Victor, who had been quietly sitting until now, knocked on the table and said,"Kids, let's eat dinner first. You can talk afterward."

Hearing Victor's words, everyone quieted down and sat at the dining table. The maids came in and served dinner. Everyone began eating while engaging in light conversation.

Ji Fan asked Han Fi, "Han Fi, where are you from? I mean, which clan or sect do you belong to? I haven't heard anything about you."

Han Fi replied, "Young Miss Ji Fan, you probably haven't heard about me because I'm neither a princess of any clan nor a disciple of any sect. I'm just a simple girl who wishes to live a simple life."

Everyone was impressed by Han Fi's response. She had answered Ji Fan's question very politely—even Ji Fan was impressed. She said,"If you're not from any sect, then why don't you join our Alchemy Sect?"

Han Fi was about to speak when Chen replied,"Young Miss Ji Fan, my sister knows nothing about the outside world. She has been sick since childhood. We really are just ordinary people. We have neither the strength nor the support to join any sect."

Ji Fan was about to respond when Adrien said,"Disciple Ji Fan, it would be better if you mind your own business. Chen is being trained by my father, so in a way, he is his disciple. As for Han Fi, my family is here to take care of her."

Adrien's tone was a bit stern. He couldn't let Han Fi go away from him—especially when there were so many dangers out there due to her body type. Until he was sure that Han Fi would be safe, he wasn't ready to take any risks regarding her.

Ji Fan didn't ask any more questions, and then everyone finished their dinner. After dinner, Ji Fan said,"Adrien, Master wants to speak with you, so could you come with me for a while?"

Adrien said, "Alright," and left with Ji Fan. She brought Adrien to her room, then took out the same spiritual crystal from her storage ring and contacted Luo Bai again. After a while, the spiritual crystal lit up, and a voice came from it:"Did you bring Adrien, Ji Fan?"

Ji Fan said, "Yes, Master. Adrien is with me. You can speak to him now."

A voice came from the crystal, "How are you, Adrien?"

Adrien replied, "Elder Luo, I'm fine. Tell me, what would you like to talk about?"

Luo Bai said, "Actually, Ji Fan told me you need Star Essence Crystal and Void Flame Core. I wanted to let you know that we do have the Void Flame Core, but we only have 5 kilograms of Star Essence Crystal, out of which we can give you 2 kilograms."

Adrien asked the system, "System, will 2 kilograms be enough?"

The system replied, "Yes, we only need a small amount of purified Star Essence Crystal for the pill. One kilogram will yield enough after purification, so you can accept the 2 kilograms."

Adrien said, "Alright, Elder Luo Bai, please give me 2 kilograms of the Star Essence Crystal. That will be sufficient."

Luo Bai replied, "Very well, then. We'll meet in Sphere City in three days."

Adrien said, "Okay," and then left.

Adrien returned to the hall, where his parents and everyone else were seated.

Adrien said, "First, I'll go to Sphere City and complete my deal with Elder Luo Bai. After that, I'll meet Alina and talk to her about the Dragon Heart Lotus."In reality, Adrien wanted to ask Alina more things, but he didn't tell his parents about that.

After Adrien finished telling everyone about his plan and was about to leave, Han Fi came up to him and softly said,"Y-Young Master… I mean, Adrien, can I come with you to Sphere City?"

Adrien gently patted her head and replied, "No, Han Fi. You should stay at home for now and focus on your cultivation. Next time, I'll take you with me."

Han Fi lowered her head sadly, not wanting to let Adrien go alone.

Adrien patted her head again and softly said, "Did you forget? We can still meet there every day. When I'm free at night, I'll come to the Self-Dimensional Space."

Hearing that, a sparkle returned to Han Fi's eyes.
