Help! I’m in Another World and the Dragon Man Want Me To Get Pregnant

Chapter 12: Unraveling the Mysteries of This World

"The humans make them?" Shen Xinghui asked, surprised.

It wasn't what he had expected, but as someone with roots in a culture that valued craftsmanship, he found it oddly satisfying.

"What's the power source?"

"Magic stones," Ignatius said. "They're sometimes mined deep within caves that was rich with elemental spirits, but nowadays, fairies are the main producers. Fairies have a strong connection to spirits and are skilled at creating magic stones. Their stones are highly efficient and, most importantly, provide a stable supply."

"Wait—fairies exist too?" Shen Xinghui exclaimed.

This world was truly a haven for fantasy enthusiasts.

Fairies, dwarves—it was everything an occult magazine could dream of.

"Indeed. There are also dwarves. They specialize in forging weapons and armor. A little bit gruff and reserved in conversation, but once you get to know them, they're good folk," Ignatius said.

"Dwarves? Are they short and stocky, with sturdy builds?"

"Exactly," Ignatius confirmed with a nod.

It was a magical world indeed.

Shen Xinghui's mind wandered.

If fairies and dwarves existed, could another iconic race be present as well?

"Do elves exist, by any chance?" he asked.

"They do," Ignatius replied. "Elves dwell deep within the forests. They don't often come to the cities—too noisy for their tastes, apparently. But those who do are wise and knowledgeable, if a bit difficult to talk to. Still, they're not bad people."

"And... are they generally pale-skinned, with pointed ears and, well, exceptionally beautiful?"

"That's about right. How do you know of them?" Ignatius asked, raising an eyebrow.

"They're often depicted as mythical beings in stories. The same goes for dragons, actually," Shen Xinghui explained.

Ignatius nodded in understanding. "So the concept isn't entirely foreign to you. That might make it easier for you to accept this world."

"Even so, I'm still very confused," Shen Xinghui admitted.

"You don't seem it," Ignatius said with a wry smile. "Anything else you'd like to ask?"

Shen Xinghui thought for a moment.

What was the most shocking thing he had learned?

The answer was obvious.

"How exactly do two men have children together?" he asked hesitantly.

Of all the surprises, this one stood out the most.

The differences in species didn't seem to matter much—everyone here had human-like forms, so it wasn't too unsettling.

But this?

This raised so many questions.

Ignatius took a small bottle out of his magic bag.

It looked like the kind of bottle that might hold cold medicine, which containing white pills inside.

He picking up one of the tablets and placed it gently into Shen Xinghui's hand.

"Take this pill," Ignatius began. "When both parties consent and make a vow, the pill changes color. The one who will bear the child takes the pill, which temporarily creates a place in their body to nurture the child. If they engage in intercourse in that state, there's a chance of conception."

"Wow…" Shen Xinghui stared intently at the small pill in his hand, marveling at how something so tiny could enable something so monumental.
