Herobrine in Marvel...again

Chapter 48: 37 First Host Speedrun

As the four Celestials approached the Solar System, their colossal forms cast long shadows across the void of space. Their presence alone was enough to send ripples through reality, their sheer mass and energy distorting spacetime around them.

Awaiting their arrival stood Ender, Buri, Gaia, Oshtur, and Surtur.

Surtur, in his full fiery glory, matched the Celestials in size, but unlike them, he dragged hordes of asteroids in his wake due to his sheer gravitational pull. If not for Ender carefully managing the chaotic forces at play, the Solar System might have already been thrown into disarray.

The Celestials paused, their massive featureless visors glowing as they analyzed the beings before them. It was rare—almost unheard of—for such powerful beings to exist in such a lowly sector of the universe.

For a moment, silence reigned.

Then, Nezarr the Calculator stepped forward, his deep, voice vibrating across the space.

"You are the overseers of this world?"

Gaia took a step forward. "I am Gaia, the Goddess of Earth,"

Ziran the Tester spoke next, "We have come to bestow the people of this planet with our gifts. And in the future, we will see whether they prove worthy of them."

Herobrine knew they were referring to the first host of a very important event that must take place on Earth if it wanted to stand against the future, "Care to elaborate on what exactly that means?"

"Humanity holds immense potential, and they have survived till now. I believe them to be worthy of your gifts, as you like to call them," Gaia said.

Honestly, the Gods were at a disadvantage, but with the backing of the Phoenix Force, even passively (considering she was on Earth playing with Agni), they seemed to favor them.

Ender would have brought her, but Phoenix Force made many enemies on her "balancing adventures." Some were powerful, and some were not, but were equally troublesome, like a certain Empire who thought that they would kill Phoenix Force.

With the agreement in place, the Celestials prepared their two experiments.

Deviant Experimentation (For Genetic Instability)

Latent Potential Awakening (For Future Evolution)

Eternals, the synthetic humans, protect humanity and follow the three principles.

Herobrine and Gaia, naturally, weren't too keen on handing over humans for this. But after some thought, he made a practical decision.

He personally selected members of a xenophobic tribe—the very same one that had once been cast out of Firehair (Agni) in the Burnt Place due to her red hair. These people had forfeited their right to mercy in his eyes. If they had such disdain for uniqueness, let them experience the true meaning of difference.

As for the "good" subjects, Ender made sure they were those who volunteered, individuals with strong spirits, great intelligence, or hidden potential. The process itself was painless, no more invasive than a vaccine injection, so he had no fear of permanent harm.

Once the Celestials gathered their chosen candidates, the experiments began.

Ender stood by, arms crossed, watching carefully.

"Let's see what your 'gifts' really do..."

(Some experiments later)

As the Celestials completed their initial experiments, the next phase began—the creation of a new race.

Using the genetic material gathered from their subjects, the Celestials began shaping beings who would embody the next stage of humanoid evolution. These were not mere enhanced humans but an entirely new species, one designed to be immortal, powerful, and nearly divine.

Ender watched the process unfold with interest. If he could replicate this method, then he could create a very powerful army of Eternals. The energy radiating from their work was unlike anything he had seen before. The Deviant experiment had already produced unstable, ever-mutating creatures, but now, something else was taking shape.

Before his eyes, the first of the Eternals emerged.

Towering figures, larger and more majestic than humans, appeared before the gods. Their bodies pulsed with cosmic energy, their minds sharpened beyond mortal comprehension.

Each Eternal bore unique abilities and physical attributes, but one thing was clear: they were meant to be Earth's hidden guardians.

Gaia examines them with fascination. "So these are the beings who will keep an eye on Deviants and humans,"

Nezarr, the Calculator, simply responded, "It is their purpose."

Ender narrowed his eyes. "You didn't give them free will, did you?"

Ziran turned toward him. "They are as they were designed to be."

Gaia frowned but said nothing. She could feel the immense potential within the Eternals, but also the rigid order imposed upon them. These were not mortals but constructs of cosmic will.

Still, she sensed goodness within them, some of them, at least.

Surtur, who had been silent for a while, simply muttered, "Hmph. More players in this cosmic game."

The Celestials had come and gone, but the consequences of their actions would ripple through history forever. The Deviants had been cursed to chaos, but the Eternals had been given power.

And now, the gods would have to wait and see if the Celestials' grand experiment would bring salvation—or destruction.

(Ender)

"Phew~ Acting like a God is really tiring. How do Gaia and the others do it naturally?"

Ender slumped onto a floating block of obsidian, rubbing his temples. Playing the part of a wise, all-knowing deity while the Celestials conducted their First Host had been exhausting. He wasn't cut out for this godly business. Give him some good fights, a few games, or a nice peaceful day with his family, and he is set. But this?

Still, despite the diplomatic headache, he couldn't deny the results were fascinating.

The Celestials had altered humanity in ways that would shape Earth for millennia to come.

1. The Eternals – The golden children of the Celestials, infused with cosmic energy, immortal, beautiful, and terrifyingly strong. If you squinted, they looked suspiciously like Olympians, which was bound to cause problems later.

2. The Deviants – The cosmic reject pile. Mutants that were ever-changing and unstable, their grotesque appearances varied wildly. Ender had personally dropped them off near the Xenophobic tribes. Let's just say, karma was swift and very, very ugly.

3. Baseline Humans with Latent Potential – These were the wild cards. Their genetic structure was enhanced, meaning they could develop powers in the future. Some would never awaken anything, but others… well, there was a reason Earth would eventually become a hotspot for superhumans.

However, it wasn't just about power. There was also a technical issue that the Celestials' experiments had helped fix.

See, the dead Progenitor Celestial's remains had been leaking essence into the planet for years. This had infused humanity with potential but also caused dangerous mutations—not the cool "laser eyes" kind, but the "melts into a puddle of screaming flesh" kind.

While he and Gaia did try to negate it but they weren't experts in these fields.

The Celestials' interventions made sure humanity could wield their genetic gifts without spontaneously combusting. Well… most of them. Some unlucky individuals were still going to be cosmic disasters waiting to happen, but hey, that's just how things worked in the universe.

And of course, the Eternals immediately went and built their city—Olympia.

Where did they decide to put it? Right near the entrance to Mount Olympus.

He had almost choked on his own spit when he realized the cosmic superhumans had parked their civilization right next to Zeus (maybe Ouranus who knows) and his rowdy family.

"Oh, this is going to be good," he muttered to himself.

He had zero doubts that, sooner or later, there was going to be a messy crossover between the Eternals and Olympians. And when that happened, he was going to sit back with popcorn (he personally created a farm of them) and enjoy the inevitable drama.

Would the Eternals and Olympians get along?

Would Zeus try to seduce an Eternal? (The answer was probably yes.)

Would Ikaris try to punch Zeus in the face? (Also yes.)

One thing was for sure—this was only the beginning.

Ender sighed, looking at the sky. The Celestials had left, but their work was far from over. The pieces had been placed on the board, and now the game would play out over millennia.

He just hoped Earth wouldn't get blown up in the process. Not like he would let it happen.

But for now, he had other "more important matters" than worrying about a potential war between Eternals and Deviants.

"So you are telling me that you can't take my place in any of the cities I and your mother created?" He turned to see his filial son, who was hiding behind his daughter-in-law, who was completely invisible!

~~~~~
Guys, if you want some family drama, you can tell me; it won't be anything serious like a fight between father and son, more like Ender wanted to dump all the responsibility on Atum. If you want it, you can tell me.
The first host was necessary anyway I am not gonna focus on Eternal and Deviant drama but the Stoneage Avengers.
Sh*t, I forgot about Agamotto!
Also this was the last chapter in my stock, looks like I will write more now, sigh!
Next chapter will be updated first on this website. Come back and continue reading tomorrow, everyone!
